“Sarah was fantastic! She sent us photos and updates everyday of our pups. Her home was great with a nice fenced yard. We knew our boys were well taken care of. She was extra accommodating to us extending our trip by a few days. Thank you thank you Sarah!”

“Loren was great! She took wonderful care of our dog. There was playtime in the back yard and walks each day. We received cute pictures and updates just about every day. She promptly responds to inquiries. I will definately be using her again. Thank you Loren!”

“Kip always comes home happy and well-behaved after staying with Huw and Jolynne. I'm grateful I can drop him off and know he is taken care of and having a good time while we are away.”

“Very loving and caring to my pup. Demonstrates professionalism and excellence in providing customers needs. She provides a comfortable second home to my fur child. I'd recommend to anyone who has a busy work life and out of town obligations.”

“Suzanne was highly responsive for booking and accommodating for drop off/pick up. While we didn’t have an opportunity for a meet and greet beforehand, she kindly responded to all my questions and concerns leading up to the stay. She sent a few quick updates and a couple photos during the two week stay, and didn’t report any issues. Suzanne was playing with my dog in the yard when I came to pick her up - they both looked like they were having a great time! Working with Suzanne was fuss-free and I would happily book with her again.”

“Kerry is so thoughtful, communicative, and caring! I appreciate her clear affection for doggos, and her patience and understanding about Petra’s quirks. Thank you so much!”

“Jessica was kind and welcoming for my nervous doggo! She took great care of him and helped him settle in quickly. She also sent me sweet pics of him every day. Will definitely be returning to Jessica for future pet sitting needs.”

“Ralph accommodated my crazy work travel schedule, sent lots of updates, and most importantly took excellent care of my pup Rocky. I so appreciate his attention and care of my dog. Thank you Ralph!”
“Kaitlyn and John took amazing care of my dog while I was away. This was the first time I left her at someone else’s home for an extended amount of time and it seemed as if my dog fit right in with their family and was given so much love and attention. They sent pictures and updates daily and my dog returned to me happy and healthy. I would love to have them watch my girl again next time I am in need of a pet sitter. Highly recommend!”

About: Hello, Caitlyn T. and Harrison S. here! Much of our life revolves around our sweet Alaskan Husky, Crosby, and we'd love to add your pup to the pack while you're away. We both have extensive experience pet sitting - from horses to cats and dogs - and would love to help our community with the space and time we currently have available. About Us: I, Caitlyn, work from home so I can be with your pup all day! We have a dog door to a fenced in (sunny!) backyard, so when we're away, the pups still have access to the yard. We get in morning and afternoon leashed neighborhood sniff-walks, then do longer off-leash walks in the evenings. Harrison works at a bakery in town, but equally caretakes in the evenings and on Sundays and Mondays. As a pet parent myself, having two people involved in the care of my pet when I'm away is comforting, so we're happy to provide that to others! About Crosby: Crosby is a 13-year-old Alaskan Husky/Shephard mix who didn't make the cut for his dog sled team as a puppy, then spent his early years on a farm in Talkeenta before joining our family 9 years ago. He absolutely loves other dogs and reads them well. If they want to play, he'll play, if they want to be left alone, he'll leave them alone. He grew up around puppies, so he is also very good at setting and holding appropriate boundaries with dogs who are still learning. Overall, he has a very quiet, soft demeaner at home but is the most confident, bouncy dog at the park. He still has a lot of energy and in his older years, we just want him to have as much dog-companionship as possible. Your Dog: A good fit for our home would be a dog that is friendly with other dogs, is not food/toy aggressive, can be independent in the house for 1-3 hours at a time, and would not dig under or jump the 4' fence or dig in our gardens. We look forward to chatting more and meeting your pup! 😊 I, Caitlyn, work from home so I can be with your pup all day! “Our dog seemed to enjoy her stay. Great yard for play, and neighborhood for walks. Kaitlin gave great updates during the stay and was flexible with us for drop off and pick up.”

“Finn's stay with Julie was great. I got multiple daily updates which was awesome since Finn is a puppy and I was worried he might be really stressed. They clearly have a lot of experience with dogs and all their quirks :). They are pretty flexible and offer a pick-up and drop-off option which came in handy this trip. I will definitely use them again. Their HOA only allows 2 dogs, so your dog will be the only one staying there with them and their dog. They are a very nice couple with a great set-up for watching a dog.”

“Crystal was terrific. Plenty of room roam and friends for our pup to play with. Super communicative with updates and pictures. Highly recommended.”

“Sharon and Michael took amazing care of my young puppy for a few days! They were great, i’ll definitely be comfortable booking again in the future.”

“This was our first time using Rover and we had a great experience with Danielle. She communicated very well with us. She sent us pictures and was flexible with drop off and pick up times. She seems like she truly is an animal lover. I think our dog was a little nervous when we left him because it was with somebody new but when we came back, he didn’t wanna leave her !”

“Ashley was great! We needed to find a place at the last minute for our dog for a couple nights. Great communication and she was able to accommodate some minor schedule changes, which was a big help. And, she took great care of our dog, who said he had a blast!”

Spenard dog parents share their Rover experiences
Sarah is amazing- very friendly and has an ideal property for giving pups plenty of space. Our pup- who normally has challenges being introduced to new dogs- had an excellent two week stay surrounded by a few furry friends. Highly reccomend and hope to book again very soon.

Alice was great with our needy pup. He’s got separation anxiety, but that wasn’t an issue because someone was always with him during his stay. There were plenty of humans and dogs to help put him at ease. Looking forward to more trips away now that we’ve got a great sitter!

Ralph was just so kind and caring towards our Roo girl. I was very sad leaving her for the first time with a new person since we moved to AK and knowing she was in such good hands immediately healed the worry! He was very attentive to her and her individual personality, and it was immensely evident how much TLC she was receiving day to day! Ralph was fabulous with daily communication and photos, highly recommend and would 11/10 take Roo back to stay with Ralph!!

Dani was absolutely amazing with Ax! He went on so many adventures with her and her dogs, made tons of new friends, and honestly seemed a little sad to come home because he had such a great time. I couldn’t ask for better care. I highly recommend Dani and will definitely be using her again in the future. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our dog! 🐾❤️

Kimberly went above and beyond with my dog and even took her on a hike where she could run off leash with other dogs. I appreciated the communication and updates while I was gone. My dog is a usually more on the timid side but I could tell immediately that she was at ease in Kimberly's home and it was quite apparent in the photos I was sent that she had a great stay. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my girl!

Alyssa is the best!! If I could give her more than 5 stars I would. She boarded my puppy and was not only super sweet to him, but she also was so understanding and flexible with my schedule. This was the first stay booked through Rove, and I will absolutely not be shopping around for a dog sitter because we hit the jackpot contacting Alyssa first!
