About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ve spent years caring for pets for friends and family. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I make sure every animal gets plenty of exercise, affection, playtime, and care while their family is away. I love creating a fun, safe, and comfortable environment for every animal I watch. I am great with any communication requests/requirements and I hope to help make this process easy and smooth :) As a General Manager in retail, I have a very flexible schedule and am able to create my own work hours. I can adjust my day as needed and take breaks when necessary, making it easy for me to return home for feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, and general care. My schedule typically ranges between the hours of 9am to 9:30pm, but I have the flexibility to structure those hours around the needs of my pet. I worked in child care for a couple years and I am the oldest four siblings. I also grew up with our family dog named Pookah. While I understand that caring for humans and dogs are different, I have experience caring for others with the upmost respect, care, kindness, and patience. I love taking walks and getting outside. Overall, I strive to create a very warm and fun environment for any pet I care for.

“Rachael is awesome. She is easy to work with, reliable, and best of all my puppies LOVE her! She truly does go above and beyond. One of our puppies has special needs and she was great with her. I knew our puppies were great hands our whole vacation. She sent pictures and videos every day. One of the puppies even wanted to leave with her when we got home. Rachael has a great sense of how and when to connect with dogs to insure they are comfortable and to build trust. I was very impressed with her. Additionally, she was able to help me with my plants and kept our house nice and neat. We will definitely be booking her for future trips. :)”

Older boxer needs help getting up and down steps to go out, our middle aged german shepherd needs exercise daily by ball throwing in the back yard…they were raised on acrerage, not very socialized and we now live in town near a busy street so always fear they’ll take off chasing someone… (cuz they’re not leash dogs). The boys immediately liked her which sealed the deal when they met. She left our house perfect and we highly recommend her for your beloved pets.”

About: Our dog passed away and I miss her very much. Recently relocated to Alaska and loving it! Have extra time on my hands to care for your furry bundle. I’ll take care of her/him/them like my own. Sorry I can’t commit to a reoccurring schedule at this time. Currently between jobs (indefinitely!) so I have plenty of time until then to give your loved ones attention. I love being outdoors so plenty of fresh air is not an issue or playing inside and curling up on sofa with your fluff ball is cool too. No problem if your pet prefers their own space, I am open to all types of personalities. Happy to care for pets in your home according to your normal routine. I am currently renting so care in my home is not an option. Thanks for understanding.
