About: My name is Jacob and I have 15 years of experience caring for mine and my family's pets. I also have approximately 4 years of volunteer experience at shelters caring for cats and dogs. I have experience walking and caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds and energy levels. From tiny pups to large, strong dogs, I'm confident handling them safely and calmly. I've worked with dogs that have behavioral challenges such as leash reactivity, anxiety, fearfulness and high energy. I'm patient, attentive, and always focused on understanding each dog's unique needs. I'm autistic, and I've found that this often allows me to connect especially well with animals. I'm very attentive to body language, routines, and subtle behavior changes, which helps me respond calmly and consistently- particularly with dogs who need a little extra understanding. My goal is to make every walk a positive, stress-free experience. My schedule is pretty flexible to do drop-in care for your pets or walks as needed. I am willing to work with clients so they can get the care they need for their pets. I am willing to do drop-in care at client's homes as needed. I can also take dogs for walks from client's homes as requested by client.

About: Hi, I'm Audrey! I've been pet sitting for several years, and I love animals, especially dogs. In the summer I work as a Girl Scout camp counselor, so I definitely have experience wrangling large groups of small chaotic mammals! I have babysat everything from puppies to senior dogs, in all shapes and sizes, and even other animals like guinea pigs. I would love to hang out with your animals and give them lots of love and kisses! I'm currently a biology major at UAA, so I have classes Monday through Thursday. All of my classes are in the late morning and afternoon, so I will be at home with your animals in the mornings and evenings. I love to just hang out with animals! I usually spend a lot of time on the couch studying or reading with client animals next to (or on top of) me. I have no issues with animals sleeping in the same bed as me. My car is dog-proofed if you want me to take your dog(s) on a field trip to the dog park or their favorite walking trail. I am also quite good with plants, so I can take care of those for you at no extra charge.

About: I’ve owned pets my whole life, and have pet-sat for family and friends since I was 13. I love pets of all shapes and sizes, and would be happy to meet yours! Available before and after a 9-5 schedule. Very few conflicts on weekends. Would love to spend some quality time with your pet, or take them on a little adventure! I love taking pets for walks or hanging out in their own homes, wherever they’re most comfortable. I’m perfectly happy being both active and calm with your pets.

I understand not every dog is ready to jump into a new environment! And I am ready to work with them. Whether it is fear of being created, scared of new trails or people.
