About: I grew up on a farm in Rupert, Idaho running around with cows, chickens, horses, and dogs. I love working on the farm with my Dad and taking care of all of the animals. Being a caretaker is a large part of who I am. As I have also worked in nursing homes and rehabilitation centers. Being a caregiver is not about you. It is about who you take care of. Each individual is different and should be treated that way. I currently live in a spacious apartment that has a fenced in dog park where they can play and make friends. About: i had 3 dogs in my life. 2 of the dogs i had. i had since i was born. then i adopted another dog in 2014. wanting to adopted more dogs in the future. i have dogsit before in the past 3 years before i knew about rover. i love and adore dogs. i cant imagine life without one. Dogs are everything to me. Having dogs around get me outside more and walking more. i have trained my 3 dogs. so i know a tiny bit about trainging them. I do live in an apartment in the 3rd floor on the top. If the dog needs it I can carry him/her up and down the stairs no issue at all. Make sure to take your time to read and make sure your 100% sure to want to book with me before you click book. i currently dont have a job. i would make dog sitting a part time job for right now. i have alot of time to care for a dog. i give the pet alot of play time. i give the pet bathroom breaks as much as needed. i walk the pet like an hour or 2. ill feed the pet when he or she needes it. of course ill him or her water. ill give the pet as much exercise as he or she needs. The dog must have a leash for me to watch them i would have the pet come over to my apartment. im around a place where i can take the dog on a long or short walk. the apartment im at is very pet friendly. I say you would have to bring your pet to me at my apartment.
About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember and have been caring for them since I was a little kid. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and they are truly family to me. One of my most meaningful experiences was caring for my late dog, Roo, who battled cancer for about a year before we lost her in September. During that time, I gained experience providing medication, extra comfort, patience, and specialized care. About: My husband and I lost our great Pyrenees a few months ago. :( We have an older shihtzu and would like to watch another dog because our dog is getting older and does not like to hike anymore. She does enjoy her walks tho. We like all types of dogs as long as they are well behaved and get along with cats and other dogs. Our home is 2,800 sq ft and we have a 10,000 sq ft yard. We can only host 2 dogs max at a time so your dog will be well taken care. We prefer only one at a time tho since we also have a cat . I am currently working part time but work from home most of the time. My husband also works from home . We walk our dog 2 -3 times a day. We like to hike and during the summer and in winter we walk the trails that are right next to our home. I have a fenced yard , but can also crate your baby if you prefer. We have everything needed for a big or little dog.

About: I love dogs, I like to do what they want! We live in Anchorage so dogs close by are preferable. We would love to do dog walks or drop in visits. We get outside a lot and like to get off leash if it's a safe area and your dog won't take off. Otherwise retractable leashes are the way to go. We are responsible about picking up dog poop. We will show your dog a good time! We will customize our care for your dog, just let us know any details you need us to know. On walks we will keep them on a leash unless it’s a dog park or an off leash area and know that they will return to our command. Whatever schedule is required is fine. Must check the calendar before full schedule is decided. Just let us know what time the walk would need to be and it should be fine. We can do a dog walks as needed, and I may have my son‘s help out. We usually try to keep them on, always to be safe.

About: Hello! My name is Elise! I’m from Alaska, I moved here in October. I grew up with many different animals. I’ve had many dogs, cats, as well as bunnies, horses and I’ve cared for birds. I love animals very much and I am very good at taking care of them. I’ve been pet sitting since I was about 14 but not really officially since I was 16. I’ve trained quite a few puppies and I’ve helped birth a lot of cats and dogs. About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ve spent years caring for pets for friends and family. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I make sure every animal gets plenty of exercise, affection, playtime, and care while their family is away. I love creating a fun, safe, and comfortable environment for every animal I watch. I am great with any communication requests/requirements and I hope to help make this process easy and smooth :) As a General Manager in retail, I have a very flexible schedule and am able to create my own work hours. I can adjust my day as needed and take breaks when necessary, making it easy for me to return home for feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, and general care. My schedule typically ranges between the hours of 9am to 9:30pm, but I have the flexibility to structure those hours around the needs of my pet. I worked in child care for a couple years and I am the oldest four siblings. I also grew up with our family dog named Pookah. While I understand that caring for humans and dogs are different, I have experience caring for others with the upmost respect, care, kindness, and patience. I love taking walks and getting outside. Overall, I strive to create a very warm and fun environment for any pet I care for.
About: I have had dogs my entire life. They have had all types of personalities which has helped me learn what is best for each dog. I currently have a dog with super high anxiety, so I am willing to work with similar dogs as I understand patience is necessary. I have also wanted my aunts 3 large dogs on several occasions! I love every type of dog and cannot wait to work with them! I am currently taking an online course from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I am available 7 days a week and can usually work around different times for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, or pet care needs. Since my coursework is online, I’m able to plan my day around the pets I’m caring for and give them plenty of attention. I’m happy to help with morning, afternoon, evening, or weekend care, and I can be flexible with last-minute needs when possible. My open schedule allows me to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they get the care, exercise, and attention they’re used to. I care for pets like they’re my own by giving them attention, patience, and a routine they’re comfortable with. I follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medication, and anything else their pet needs. I make sure pets always have fresh water, a safe environment, and plenty of love and playtime. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure the home is clean and secure before I leave. I’m also happy to send photo updates so owners can feel confident their pets are doing well.
