About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ve spent years caring for pets for friends and family. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I make sure every animal gets plenty of exercise, affection, playtime, and care while their family is away. I love creating a fun, safe, and comfortable environment for every animal I watch. I am great with any communication requests/requirements and I hope to help make this process easy and smooth :) As a General Manager in retail, I have a very flexible schedule and am able to create my own work hours. I can adjust my day as needed and take breaks when necessary, making it easy for me to return home for feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, and general care. My schedule typically ranges between the hours of 9am to 9:30pm, but I have the flexibility to structure those hours around the needs of my pet. I worked in child care for a couple years and I am the oldest four siblings. I also grew up with our family dog named Pookah. While I understand that caring for humans and dogs are different, I have experience caring for others with the upmost respect, care, kindness, and patience. I love taking walks and getting outside. Overall, I strive to create a very warm and fun environment for any pet I care for.

About: Roughly two years ago, I received a call from a colleague asking to house sit for a weekend after a previous bad experience with boarding two dogs. Both with health issues and one of them not sociable with other dogs. My colleague came back to a clean home, garden watered, mail organized and the dogs very well loved and walked everyday. Ever since, I have housesat for anywhere from 48hrs to nearly 30 days at a time with zero issues. Bed time rituals, feeding songs, walking a slightly reactive dog, cuddling very closely at night were the priorities at the top of the to-do list. Now that two years have passed since that first call I have decided to try my hand at truly making dog walking/house sitting/drop-in playdates a side gig! I work 12hrs a day, rotating weeks 3 days or 4 days a week. Typically Wednesday/Thursday-Saturday off every week. I am up early most mornings in my time off, can make myself available for late nights Wednesday-Friday as well. In your home, I will follow all requests diligently, check all doors and windows before leaving or before bed. I am MANDT de-escalation trained, CPR/BLS certified and will soon be training to further my EMS-adjacent skillsets. In emergencies, I understand the importance of prioritizing the fur babies and keeping them out of harm’s way.

About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember, and have a lot of experience handling both big and small dogs. I also have experience giving dogs medicine and taking care of dogs with special needs as one of my dogs has to wear diapers. In addition I have expected taking care of both senior and young dogs. I don’t have a cat, but I’ve taken care of cats for a couple years by helping out my friends, family, and neighbors. I am able to work with senior cats or kittens and don’t mind if they are not too social as well. I’m currently on summer break and about to leave for college in the fall, so I am wanting a job that is easy to break away from. Due to this I am fairly open and have plenty of time to help people with pet care. I am completely willing to stop by and help take care of your pets needs whether that’s feeding them, taking them for a walk, giving medicine, or just spending time with them.

About: I got a golden doodle when I was very young. Ever since then I’ve had a huge love for dogs and all animals. I’ve grown up with one, we got a second one shortly after. We basically had a mini farm at home, including ducks and bunnies. Once I moved out of my parents house I got a cat and a border collie/Australian Shepherd mix. I’ve been around animals all of my life. And I couldn’t imagine life without them. I work a full-time job Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with an hour lunch. I work Fridays from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. I usually go home for lunch to make sure all pets are cared for. After work, I usually stay home for the rest of the night. I live in an apartment on the second floor with a balcony. It is a very safe environment. And cozy place. It is in a closed balcony, so there is no risks of animals falling off. I have two different windows that are big and both open for fresh air.

About: I’ve grown up with animals and have taken care of pets for family and friends. My family had all sorts of pets including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and salamanders. You name it! I can’t say I’ve seen it all, but I believe I’m well equipped to care for your pets. Please reach out with any questions you have for me! I work a seasonal job, so my hours vary. Some weeks I work 8-4 while other weeks I’m totally free! Let me know when you need a pet sitter/caregiver and I will do my best to make it work. I am happy to care for your pets in whatever manner you believe is best for them. I can take them for walks or give them special medication. Whatever they need!

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and genuinely love getting to know each one and their personality. I grew up with two big dogs, have had dogs of my own, and am very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages, including seniors who might need a little extra patience and care. I work from home, so your dog will have plenty of company, attention, pets, and walks throughout the day. I’m very active, but just as happy to have a lazy couch buddy, and I’ll always do my best to make your dog feel comfortable and at home while you’re away. I’m working fully remote from home so your dog will never be unsupervised. I can definitely care for both older and younger pups and will do everything possible to make their stay here relaxing and fun! I’ll be sure to provide daily pictures as well. I go on at least 3 walks per day! My dog is great with all dogs and will keep him company. Your dog is welcome to sleep on the floor/couch or in a crate if provided.

About: I have lived with cats my entire life, and own two currently. I regularly check on friends cats and dogs when they are out of town (for the past 10 years), so I am confident in my abilities to give your pets the attention they need while you're away. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with patience, attention, and respect. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, medication reminders, enrichment, or just some extra companionship while you're away, I’ll make sure they feel safe and cared for. I work remotely as a postdoc for UAF and my schedule can be flexible to work with yours/your pets needs! I enjoy spending time outdoors, and I’m happy to provide walks, drop-in visits, and active outings tailored to your pet’s needs. I’m reliable, communicative, and will always send updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. I have two cats and will generally not be accepting any stay-over visits at my own house. They are really friendly and love humans but other pets would be stressful for everyone!
