About: Me and my girlfriend are looking to hangout with some puppies, because every dog is a puppy to us. We left ours in Sitka with my father and brother. We just want to do this for the love of dogs and animals!!! I work with animals for my career and just love being around them! My girlfriend is also a big animal lover wish we had our pets here! About: I have been cat sitting and dog walking for the past two years for coworkers and family friends- and now I’m on Rover too! I’ve got two golden retrievers of my own who I love dearly as well! I am a student at the University of Vermont studying political science and english! During the summers I come home to Anchorage, Alaska. I love all things outdoors- hiking, running, you name it. I have also been working part time at Middle Way Cafe (in Anchorage) for almost 3 years. Because I have grown up with animals, I feel confident in my ability to care for them. I also volunteer at our local animal shelters and am passionate about finding animals good homes! About: hi everyone!! my name is Kristina, a transplant from Bellingham, WA and it is so lovely to meet you! I have been connecting and caring for animals since a young child. From starting a dog sitting business as an 11 yr old (short lived but to volunteering at local shelters and assisting in the vet clinic, I have had the privilege of learning from and caring for our furry friends for a lifetime. My partner and I will be relocating to Anchorage and looking to sit together. When I’m not in search of the next furry friend to meet, I am typically out on the land climbing, laying on the grass, or dancing in the rain. I work in Youth Development and dream of bridging my love of animals, with therapeutic methods someday! I will be located in the Anchorage area for the whole month of October! I will be relocating with my partner and looking to sit together. My weekly schedule is incredibly open for all pet needs. Mornings, and afternoons on weekdays typically work best as well as weekend house sitting needs! About: I've had dogs since I was born on and off for the past twenty six years. I have fallen in love with all of fur babies. Im very attentive and mindful of dog behaviors. And we'll adapt to the situation when needed. I am on a sabbatical and am looking for some adventure. With a passion for animals this is my perfect avenue to find that adventure. About: Hello! My name is Elise! I’m from Alaska, I moved here in October. I grew up with many different animals. I’ve had many dogs, cats, as well as bunnies, horses and I’ve cared for birds. I love animals very much and I am very good at taking care of them. I’ve been pet sitting since I was about 14 but not really officially since I was 16. I’ve trained quite a few puppies and I’ve helped birth a lot of cats and dogs. About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was old enough to take care of myself. As a child, we had cats in our family. As I grew older, I became the resident animal sitter for the neighborhood. I would walk, feed, and play with them for extra money. As an adult, I regularly watch my friends dogs and cats while they are out of town, staying in their homes, as to not disturb the routines of the beloved furry friends. I love their company. I’m currently work for myself, and can accommodate to the needs of the animals I watch. I own a business doing bodywork, and am flexible day to day. I’m available to watch your home and your pets. About: When I was around 12, I started taking care of my neighbor’s chocolate lab whenever they went camping. Ever since, I’ve known that caring for animals was a passion of mine. When I was old enough, I worked at an animal daycare for a year. Right now, I work 8:30–5:00 for a travel design company, though twice a week i work from home. But I can do walks during my lunch break, as well as check-ins, boarding requests, and feeding appointments. These days, I mostly help take care of my family and friends’ pets, and I’d be so happy to help care for yours too! As a travel designer, a portion of my work is remote, which gives me a flexible and predictable schedule. Most of my planning, emails, and itinerary work can be done from my laptop, so I’m able to be present with pets throughout the day while still meeting my work responsibilities. I believe the most crucial aspect is the communication between the pet owner and the sitter. About: I love animals! I am able to walk far distances and care for specific needs. I have a cat of my own and can drive to your house. I am currently working as a barista downtown and own a car. I am able to drive to your location no matter the day and feed/ care for your animal. I am not able to house pets at my own house but feel absolutely fine going to your location. I work full time for the FAA as a technical support specialist and have for the last 12 years. I telework 100% and make my own schedule. In my own environment, I have a good sized fenced in yard with a dog door. Hannah basically goes where she wants when she wants, except when I leave the house. She like to talk to the neighbors and needs a little help when she get super chatty. My sweet cat, Ponyo, naturally stays inside. She will venture out from time to time if the door is open but always comes back pretty quick. Lot's of fresh water around and meals are planned and controlled to avoid obesity.

About: Ive had dogs in my life for just about all of it. I figured why not walk dogs and make some side cash while I walk around. Taking care of pets and walking dogs is more of just a part time thing I'm doing to pass the time and get to hang out with animals. Before I moved to Anchorage my family had 4 dogs that I took care of on a daily basis. I always make sure the dog is secured to a lease before I bring them out. Currently on a part time seasonal schedule with more time going to be available in the winter. Figured this would be a great way to stay active and outside while going into the winter months I've have plenty of experience with dogs and their care growing up in northwest Alaska. My siblings and I all had dogs growing up from newborn pups to our fathers dog that lived until he was 21.
