Sam was great to work with! Super flexible for both the meet and greet and walk. She gave us a detailed rover card with photos, and was clearly working on our dog listening to her on the walk. Plus, she brought him treats from the Seattle barkery! :) will book again for sure.

About: I love dogs, I like to do what they want! We live in Anchorage so dogs close by are preferable. We would love to do dog walks or drop in visits. We get outside a lot and like to get off leash if it's a safe area and your dog won't take off. Otherwise retractable leashes are the way to go. We are responsible about picking up dog poop. We will show your dog a good time! We will customize our care for your dog, just let us know any details you need us to know. On walks we will keep them on a leash unless it’s a dog park or an off leash area and know that they will return to our command. Whatever schedule is required is fine. Must check the calendar before full schedule is decided. Just let us know what time the walk would need to be and it should be fine. We can do a dog walks as needed, and I may have my son‘s help out. We usually try to keep them on, always to be safe.

So glad that Tessa could take Alfred in a midday walk while I worked. Gave me peace of mind knowing he was taken care of and wouldn’t have to wait for me if I couldn’t get away from work for a lunch time walk. Thank you so much!!!

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was young—dogs/puppies and cats. Very patient with younger animals or with more energy that require more attention and/or more technical care. I have a flexible schedule that allows the ability to stop in throughout the day. Available most weekends, early evenings and flexible throughout the day. With extensive experience with petsitting I’m very skilled in sensing the time needed and patience to build trust and a comfortable space and presence for one’s pets.

Eric was able to walk Tugboat on short notice. So helpful and kind. I appreciated the help. Eric also was able to get Tugboat to not be interested in pulling. Can't thank Eric enough. Tugboat was always excited to see Eric and knew the time was coming. Can't recommend Eric enough.

About: What sets me apart is how intuitive and adaptable I am with animals. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routines, and comfort level, especially shy, anxious, or senior pets. I’m patient, observant, and calm, which helps animals feel safe and settle in quickly. I’m comfortable caring for puppies who need structure and consistency, as well as older pets who may need a slower pace, extra gentleness, or medication support. I communicate clearly with owners and truly enjoy forming meaningful bonds with the animals I care for—not just watching them, but making sure they feel loved, secure, and understood. I only work part of the year, which gives me plenty of free time the rest of the year. Because I travel often, I don’t currently have pets of my own, but that also means I have lots of time, attention, and love to give. I’d be happy to share that with your furry family members. I’m very respectful of people’s homes and always tailor my care to match how you care for your pets. If your pet is allowed on the furniture or sleeps in bed with you, I’m happy to welcome a warm, furry snuggle buddy. If your pet is crate-trained at bedtime, I’m comfortable with that too. I’m flexible, friendly, and have many years of experience with animals of all kinds—dogs, cats, parrots, horses, ducks, chickens, you name it. I’ve yet to meet a dog I couldn’t connect with, even the most timid ones. People know me for how deeply I love animals, and with me, your pet will be safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.

About: I love all animals, with proper direction I’m positive I can give adequate care to any and all animals and ensure their safety and health. I work full time with a nonprofit organization downtown that helps unhoused youths. My schedule is Sunday through Thursday from 2:30 pm - 10:30. My days off are Friday and Saturday. I can take one break depending on the how far the location is from my work to give a potty break. In my free time I’m devoted to whatever may come and is needed for any and all pets ❤️ I’ve worked with the state for most of my adult life and always have passed a background check. My resume includes elderly care, hospital healthcare, in home healthcare, and most recently three years as a domestic violence/homeless shelter advocate with a non profit organization in rural Alaska. I’ve had animals my entire life and enjoy the company of all! I have experience with not only cats and dogs but fish, rodents and reptiles as well. About: I attended veterinary science at kcc for two years and continued on after that interning at clinics. CPR certified for pups & avid dog lady. Will love and care for your pups like they're my own. I am also well versed in dog allergic reactions and common diseases/infections & will alert you accordingly. I started my own dog walking/poop scooping business at 12 that I ran until I was 16 with over 10 returning clients! Caring for dogs has always felt like it’s what I’m supposed to do(: I work from home so I spend my days with my pup alternating between walks, car rides and work! I also have 2 cats who (as most cat lovers know) usually keep to themselves though I have seen them become affectionate with some dogs with calmer temperaments! My life revolves around these little critters and if you entrust me with your furry friend they will quickly become part of the pack and my life will revolve around them too while I have them! My home is a two story two bedroom home with a fenced yard and is fully doggie proofed/puppy proofed. I am a dog lady so I do allow dogs on my furniture and bed(unless I'm told otherwise by owners). I live about 5 minutes walking distance from a fenced dog park which I visit regularly and I take drives to Klatt field fenced in dog park regularly. I run a fairly lenient but still well kemp ship here, we all sit on the couch and hangout together and they’re all allowed on the bed at bedtime with me (unless I’m told otherwise). If a crate is needed I do have one kennel fit for an up to 80lbs dog that I keep in my downstairs room! If you’re inquiring about house sitting then consider me there! My husband and I both take care of our animals so if I am at your house, my animals won’t be an issue(:
