“Cannot be more happy with Kate as a dog walker. Novi is always thrilled to see her and she provides excellent care. Last week when we had a large amount of new snow and roads were very hazardous she still got to Novi so that she wouldn’t be inside all day.”

“Nella loves dogs and we could tell she gave our dogs a lot of love and attention! She was quick to reply and easy to communicate with. We will use Nella again!”

“Maribel fit us in last minute and brought back a tuckered out and very happy corgi puppy. She was great at communicating before, after and during our walk and sent pictures! I couldn't recommend her more highly!”

About: I love dogs, I like to do what they want! We live in Anchorage so dogs close by are preferable. We would love to do dog walks or drop in visits. We get outside a lot and like to get off leash if it's a safe area and your dog won't take off. Otherwise retractable leashes are the way to go. We are responsible about picking up dog poop. We will show your dog a good time! We will customize our care for your dog, just let us know any details you need us to know. On walks we will keep them on a leash unless it’s a dog park or an off leash area and know that they will return to our command. Whatever schedule is required is fine. Must check the calendar before full schedule is decided. Just let us know what time the walk would need to be and it should be fine. We can do a dog walks as needed, and I may have my son‘s help out. We usually try to keep them on, always to be safe.
About: I have 2 puppies, one is a year old and the other is 7 months! I have dog sat my friend’s and family members dogs before I moved to Montana! I haven’t had much experience with cats but I would love to start! During the week day, I am able to go whenever, wherever pet care is needed! I don’t currently have a full time job right now, so whenever you need I’m there! I clean very well and I love dogs & cats! I haven’t been able to take care of a cat yet but I want to at some point!
About: I’ve always had animals since I was born, and love and appreciate the sweet qualities they bring to our lives. I enjoy being able to fill in the gaps for pet owners so their beloved pet can experience less anxiety while they are away. I am 32 years old, married for 9 years, and have an 8 year old and 3 month old daughters. I am a nursing student and use Rover to make a bit of extra income, get exercise, and spend time with amazing animals. I have a husky mix and terrier mix, so I have experience in quite contrasting breeds! I also have a 4 year old tabby cat. PLEASE NOTE I follow the ASD (Anchorage School District) snow days and holidays and can not provide services during those times as my oldest will be out of school. Most of the time I will have my baby with me for walks. For this reason I can only accept dogs well trained on leash and who are ok with kids. She will not be allowed to interact with your pet, I will wear her in a carrier. I am available Monday through Friday 9 am with my last booking available at 1:30 pm. Please remember I follow ASD snow days and holidays. No weekends. I am well versed in escape artists and keeping them safely indoors. I have owned birds, fish, cats, and dogs. I am a nursing student, and even though animals are much different than people I am intuitive to if something is wrong. My current dog is 16 years old and I am familair with the needs of a senior animal.

Huffman-O'malley dog parents share their Rover experiences
Maribel took excellent care of our dog Riker. She made sure he was happy and active while we were away on vacation. She was responsible, communicative, responded quickly, and made sure to send many photos of our dog. We plan to book Maribel in the future for future vacations! Highly recommended.

Avalon went above and beyond with my dog Willy. I booked a walk with short notice, and Avalon took him on a long hike, got him a pup cup, and provided me with photos and videos of his adventure. I knew my dog was in great hands, which brought me so much ease during a long work day. I'll definitely book again. Thanks!!
