About: Dog lover since a child! While I have not professionally walked dogs, I have owned dogs for 15 years. I also volunteered at a dog rescue and walked them there. I have fostered dogs and puppies in the past as well. So I have cared for dogs of different shapes, age and size. I love animals and I’d love to love on yours! I am a stay at home mom and while my kids are at school, I’m looking for some dogs to walk. My schedule is fairly flexible. I will care for your pet based on what your pets needs are. I regularly check on friends cats and dogs when they are out of town (for the past 10 years), so I am confident in my abilities to give your pets the attention they need while you're away. I work remotely as a postdoc for UAF and my schedule can be flexible to work with yours/your pets needs! About: Roughly two years ago, I received a call from a colleague asking to house sit for a weekend after a previous bad experience with boarding two dogs. Both with health issues and one of them not sociable with other dogs. My colleague came back to a clean home, garden watered, mail organized and the dogs very well loved and walked everyday. Ever since, I have housesat for anywhere from 48hrs to nearly 30 days at a time with zero issues. Bed time rituals, feeding songs, walking a slightly reactive dog, cuddling very closely at night were the priorities at the top of the to-do list. Now that two years have passed since that first call I have decided to try my hand at truly making dog walking/house sitting/drop-in playdates a side gig! I work 12hrs a day, rotating weeks 3 days or 4 days a week. Typically Wednesday/Thursday-Saturday off every week. I am up early most mornings in my time off, can make myself available for late nights Wednesday-Friday as well. In your home, I will follow all requests diligently, check all doors and windows before leaving or before bed. I am MANDT de-escalation trained, CPR/BLS certified and will soon be training to further my EMS-adjacent skillsets. In emergencies, I understand the importance of prioritizing the fur babies and keeping them out of harm’s way.

About: I attended veterinary science at kcc for two years and continued on after that interning at clinics. CPR certified for pups & avid dog lady. Will love and care for your pups like they're my own. I am also well versed in dog allergic reactions and common diseases/infections & will alert you accordingly. I started my own dog walking/poop scooping business at 12 that I ran until I was 16 with over 10 returning clients! Caring for dogs has always felt like it’s what I’m supposed to do(: I work from home so I spend my days with my pup alternating between walks, car rides and work! I also have 2 cats who (as most cat lovers know) usually keep to themselves though I have seen them become affectionate with some dogs with calmer temperaments! My life revolves around these little critters and if you entrust me with your furry friend they will quickly become part of the pack and my life will revolve around them too while I have them! My home is a two story two bedroom home with a fenced yard and is fully doggie proofed/puppy proofed. I am a dog lady so I do allow dogs on my furniture and bed(unless I'm told otherwise by owners). I live about 5 minutes walking distance from a fenced dog park which I visit regularly and I take drives to Klatt field fenced in dog park regularly. I run a fairly lenient but still well kemp ship here, we all sit on the couch and hangout together and they’re all allowed on the bed at bedtime with me (unless I’m told otherwise). If a crate is needed I do have one kennel fit for an up to 80lbs dog that I keep in my downstairs room! If you’re inquiring about house sitting then consider me there! My husband and I both take care of our animals so if I am at your house, my animals won’t be an issue(:

About: What will set me apart: My attention to detail and adherence to your instruction to the letter. I will additionally tidy, clean, and make coming home a pleasure! I’m technical savvy and love to send photos of happy angels while you travel! I simply want to treat you and yours the way I want my sitters to treat me and mine. I work full time for the FAA as a technical support specialist and have for the last 12 years. I telework 100% and make my own schedule. Pet sitting is a natural extention of my work day with tons of flexibility mixed in. LLet me know what you require and I'll make it happen. In my own environment, I have a good sized fenced in yard with a dog door. Hannah basically goes where she wants when she wants, except when I leave the house. She like to talk to the neighbors and needs a little help when she get super chatty. My sweet cat, Ponyo, naturally stays inside. She will venture out from time to time if the door is open but always comes back pretty quick. Lot's of fresh water around and meals are planned and controlled to avoid obesity.

About: I have loved most animals for as long as I can remember. I am very compassionate towards animals and feel love and concern when I see a lost or unloved animal. I have pet and house sat for two families who came back to me multiple times. I am always willing to adjust my usual routine to make the owners and their furry family members comfortable. I sat for a friend once who requested that I keep their large, fluffy husky mix in my car whenever I left the house. My priority will always be keeping your furbabies happy, healthy, safe, and comfortable. Last, but certainly not least, I have two dogs of my own who I treat as if they were my own children. I am always thinking of how I would want other humans to treat them when I decide how to work with someone else's pets. During the summer, my pet care will be my highest priority. During the school year (mid August through late December and mid January through late May) I work as a teaching assistant and must prioritize that but I would endeavor to schedule all non-work related activities around the needs of the pet and their family. As I have two dogs of my own neither of which get along well with other dogs, I would not be able to care for another pet in my own home, but I am always willing to stay in another home if pets require constant supervision. I would always follow any instructions regarding pet care given me by the owners. If clear instructions are not given to me, I will ask questions and I will simply do my best to make the pet comfortable and not to change their routine more than absolutely necessary.

About: Hello! My name is Elise! I’m from Alaska, I moved here in October. I grew up with many different animals. I’ve had many dogs, cats, as well as bunnies, horses and I’ve cared for birds. I love animals very much and I am very good at taking care of them. I’ve been pet sitting since I was about 14 but not really officially since I was 16. About: Ive had dogs in my life for just about all of it. I figured why not walk dogs and make some side cash while I walk around. Taking care of pets and walking dogs is more of just a part time thing I'm doing to pass the time and get to hang out with animals. Before I moved to Anchorage my family had 4 dogs that I took care of on a daily basis. I always make sure the dog is secured to a lease before I bring them out. Currently on a part time seasonal schedule with more time going to be available in the winter. Figured this would be a great way to stay active and outside while going into the winter months I've have plenty of experience with dogs and their care growing up in northwest Alaska. My siblings and I all had dogs growing up from newborn pups to our fathers dog that lived until he was 21.

About: Born with a cat and two dogs lead to me always having a pet in my home. I have pets in my residence but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to help others from having to leave their pet(s) all alone at home or in a boarding facility. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about 10! I had a dog walking service in the neighborhood when I was younger and have pet sat for neighbors for years. I am a PhD student at Stanford, but I am available to pet sit at most times (provided that it doesn’t interfere with my class schedule)!! I always make sure the animal trusts me first by letting them sniff my hand. I also make sure that it is a safe environment for them - free of any hazards.
