About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ve spent years caring for pets for friends and family. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I make sure every animal gets plenty of exercise, affection, playtime, and care while their family is away. I love creating a fun, safe, and comfortable environment for every animal I watch. I am great with any communication requests/requirements and I hope to help make this process easy and smooth :) As a General Manager in retail, I have a very flexible schedule and am able to create my own work hours. I can adjust my day as needed and take breaks when necessary, making it easy for me to return home for feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, and general care. My schedule typically ranges between the hours of 9am to 9:30pm, but I have the flexibility to structure those hours around the needs of my pet. I worked in child care for a couple years and I am the oldest four siblings. I also grew up with our family dog named Pookah. While I understand that caring for humans and dogs are different, I have experience caring for others with the upmost respect, care, kindness, and patience. I love taking walks and getting outside. Overall, I strive to create a very warm and fun environment for any pet I care for.

I come from an agriculture background, which has allowed me to care for all kinds of pets. Most importantly, I’ve cared for cats & dogs during all their life stages. My heart is full when I get to see either a happy dog tail-wag or a purrfectly content cat make biscuits. At this time I am not hosting animals in my home. I will do house visits and walks. I prefer to take your pet on routes they are familiar with to start. After getting to know your pet, I can take them on walks in new environments to encourage new training opportunities. I want to provide a safe environment for your fur baby and myself by being aware of any sensitivities or triggers. Your pet will receive top care while being set-up for success when spending time with me! Book with me & I’ll help make your life a little less stressful — your pet has a friend in me! I have a very flexible schedule and can take care of your pets in the afternoon or evenings during Monday-Friday. With ample notice, I can even take care of your pet in the mornings Monday-Friday. On weekends, I can take care of your pet at any time! I’ll make sure to provide a safe environment for everyone. I will care for your pet according to your instructions. If I am at your home, I will abide by your house rules and care for your pet accordingly. Your pet will be safe and cared for in my care.

About: As a kid I spent many after school hours hanging out in the veterinarian clinic that my parents worked at. That is where my love of animals began. My family rescued a 3-legged collie named Dawson, the sweetest boy that I grew up with. Along with dogs, my family had cats, birds, fish, and hamsters. I was always the kid in the neighborhood who people could rely on to watch their pets while on vacation. I was the one hanging out in the veterinarian office soaking up as much information as I could. I’ve always wanted a dog of my own but knew I had to wait until the time was right. In the mean time, I have fostered several dogs through the Pixie Project here in Portland, as well as provided countless hours of babysitting to a variety of dogs belonging to friends and family. I have taken care of small to large breeds, young and old, all with different personalities and needs. This past year I finished college and finally was able to adopt the dog of my dreams. I have a male Samoyed named Nanuk that we have had since he was a little 8 week old pup. Nanuk just turned two years old and is big and energetic, but he is a gentle giant. Raising a puppy is anything but easy, but has taught me so much. My experience with my own dog Nanuk, combined with my years of experience fostering and babysitting dogs, and my lifetime of experience with my family at the veterinarian clinic and our home pets, makes me confident in my abilities to provide trustworthy and dependable care to your beloved dog. I am lucky to work 100% remote from home with a flexible schedule, so your dog will have my full commitment and attention at all times. Nanuk is a larger breed dog and still young, so he requires lots of walking and playtime. I will work with you to figure out your dogs best schedule and routine, and see how it can fit into ours so that your dog is happy and comfortable. I have a very large fenced back yard for the dogs to play and run! The environment in the house is calm and quiet as it is just myself and my boyfriend who works during the day. There is air conditioning and I always have an air purifier running as well. The house is always 100% safe and puppy-proof. I am always looking for any potential safety hazards and staying clean and tidy. Toys, dog beds, and clean water is always accessible. Lastly, our house is fun! I dedicate as much time as possible to making sure the dogs are getting plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.

About: I’ve taken care of neighbors and friends dogs for years! i love going over and meeting new dogs and playing and. taking care of them! I am in college currently but have plenty of free time to watch and play with animals! Most my classes are online so the longest I would have to be away would be 2 hours! About: My name is Aubrie. I’ve had pets my entire life and for the past three years, I’ve started caring for others in addition to my own. I have experience caring for dogs with special needs, and of all different sizes and breeds. I’m not currently working, so my full time job would be caring for your pet! Daycare drop off and pickup hours are between 7 am and 7 pm. Any time after 7 pm would need to be booked as boarding and pickup for the following morning. I offer extended stays as well. I live in an apartment with the dog park on my same floor, so lots of running around and play time staying here with me and my pet! He is very social and loves to have company, friendly to other dogs and shares toys.

About: I love animals! I am able to walk far distances and care for specific needs. I have a cat of my own and can drive to your house. I am currently working as a barista downtown and own a car. I am able to drive to your location no matter the day and feed/ care for your animal. I am not able to house pets at my own house but feel absolutely fine going to your location. I am able to spend overnights there as well.

About: I’m a dog parent of a 3 yo husky mix who keeps me busy. She’s more social than I am, & most days, I’m chasing her around trying to keep up. I like to bike, ski, and play in the mountains, and it’s pretty easy to add another pet into the mix of our high energy lifestyle. Dog sitting was my first job, and I’ve had great experiences with Rover as a pet parent & a sitter I work full time, but I take an hour lunch break every day for dog walks. A typical day starts with a 30 min walk in the morning, 45 mins at lunch, and another 30-60 mins in the evenings. Love to take the dogs hiking, or out to one of the beaches in town, or up on a hiking trail. I have a friendly dog at home, & I require a meet & greet before overnight stays to make sure the personalities work together. Please bring a crate with you if your pet is used to having their own. Please also bring or identify whatever toys, treats, comfort items they can’t live without.
