About: For the past couple of years, I’ve been a trusted pet sitter for friends and neighbors in my community. My approach to pet care is a combination of gentle, playful, calm, and attentive. We get outside a lot and like to get off leash if it's a safe area and your dog won't take off. Otherwise retractable leashes are the way to go. We are responsible about picking up dog poop. We will show your dog a good time! We will customize our care for your dog, just let us know any details you need us to know. On walks we will keep them on a leash unless it’s a dog park or an off leash area and know that they will return to our command. Whatever schedule is required is fine. Must check the calendar before full schedule is decided. Just let us know what time the walk would need to be and it should be fine. We can do a dog walks as needed, and I may have my son‘s help out. About: My husband and I lost our great Pyrenees a few months ago. :( We have an older shihtzu and would like to watch another dog because our dog is getting older and does not like to hike anymore. She does enjoy her walks tho. We like all types of dogs as long as they are well behaved and get along with cats and other dogs. Our home is 2,800 sq ft and we have a 10,000 sq ft yard. We can only host 2 dogs max at a time so your dog will be well taken care. We prefer only one at a time tho since we also have a cat . I am currently working part time but work from home most of the time. My husband also works from home . We walk our dog 2 -3 times a day. We like to hike and during the summer and in winter we walk the trails that are right next to our home. I have a fenced yard , but can also crate your baby if you prefer. We have everything needed for a big or little dog.

About: Your pup will be treated like family! I have always been an animal lover and have treated all animals with kindness and compassion. I grew up with dogs (and a variety of other pets) and understand the commitment involved in taking good care of your beloved pet. I love watching Cesar Milan and know that rules, boundaries and limitations are also a key part of making a dog feel at ease. That being said, I'm quite a softy so there are generally very few rules as far as the house goes! :) My yard is completely fenced with lots of room to play. They can sleep wherever they choose and will always get plenty of time outdoors ( if they would like). I love walking and will take your pup for as many walks as you would like. My job is very flexible so while dog sitting I will always be at home and with your dog for the entire duration. I know that calmness and kindness are key to reassuring your pup and allowing them to feel happy and comfortable. About: i had 3 dogs in my life. 2 of the dogs i had. i had since i was born. then i adopted another dog in 2014. wanting to adopted more dogs in the future. i have dogsit before in the past 3 years before i knew about rover. i love and adore dogs. i cant imagine life without one. About: During my childhood I often spent time with my grandmother and her pack of boxers. Now I have a Boston Terrier named Jack. I can handle a pack of up to 8 on my own I do currently have a job so I can be a bit busy sometimes. I live with quite a few people, we all help out with caring for the dogs in our care. I can usually feed the dogs in the morning and night. I can adhere to your dogs rules, whether you want them on furniture or not, whether you want them crated at certain times or not. I have not administered medicine before but I am willing to learn if need be.

About: Hi! Both my husband and I have grown up in Alaska helping care for small chihuahuas all the way up to wolf-hybrids. We are a fun and loving couple with 2 small doodles of our own, 3 stories of house to play in, a small backyard/potty area, and located right next to a doggy park. While I work, typically my two doodles spend their time snacking and watching TV! Once the work day is up, to the park we go! I have two miniature sized doodles to keep your dog company. About: I’m a dog parent of a 3 yo husky mix who keeps me busy. She’s more social than I am, & most days, I’m chasing her around trying to keep up. I like to bike, ski, and play in the mountains, and it’s pretty easy to add another pet into the mix of our high energy lifestyle. Dog sitting was my first job, and I’ve had great experiences with Rover as a pet parent & a sitter I work full time, but I take an hour lunch break every day for dog walks. A typical day starts with a 30 min walk in the morning, 45 mins at lunch, and another 30-60 mins in the evenings. Love to take the dogs hiking, or out to one of the beaches in town, or up on a hiking trail. I have a friendly dog at home, & I require a meet & greet before overnight stays to make sure the personalities work together. Please bring a crate with you if your pet is used to having their own. Please also bring or identify whatever toys, treats, comfort items they can’t live without.

About: My name is Aubrie. I’ve had pets my entire life and for the past three years, I’ve started caring for others in addition to my own. I have experience caring for dogs with special needs, and of all different sizes and breeds. I’m not currently working, so my full time job would be caring for your pet! Daycare drop off and pickup hours are between 7 am and 7 pm. Any time after 7 pm would need to be booked as boarding and pickup for the following morning. I offer extended stays as well. I live in an apartment with the dog park on my same floor, so lots of running around and play time staying here with me and my pet! He is very social and loves to have company, friendly to other dogs and shares toys.

About Crosby: Crosby is a 13-year-old Alaskan Husky/Shephard mix who didn't make the cut for his dog sled team as a puppy, then spent his early years on a farm in Talkeenta before joining our family 9 years ago. He absolutely loves other dogs and reads them well. If they want to play, he'll play, if they want to be left alone, he'll leave them alone. He grew up around puppies, so he is also very good at setting and holding appropriate boundaries with dogs who are still learning. Overall, he has a very quiet, soft demeaner at home but is the most confident, bouncy dog at the park. He still has a lot of energy and in his older years, we just want him to have as much dog-companionship as possible. Your Dog: A good fit for our home would be a dog that is friendly with other dogs, is not food/toy aggressive, can be independent in the house for 1-3 hours at a time, and would not dig under or jump the 4' fence or dig in our gardens.
