“Sarah did a great job of taking care of my pup and house. The pup was happy and heathy at the end of Sarah’s stay and the house was very tidy. I’d highly recommend Sarah to anyone needing a sitter!”

“Sorona has such a caring heart. She not only takes amazing care of our dogs, but the peace of mind she provides us is so welcome. She goes above and beyond what we expect. She provides photos and videos and updates. So grateful for her!”

“Sarah watched my golden doodle for 7 days while I was out of town. She was super helpful and my dog had a great time with her. She was super helpful when my flight got delayed and was willing to adjust to accommodate that which really eased my worries. I got regular updates about how everything was going during my trip.”

“Avalon was great. She took great care of my cat. Excellent at communicating and left my apartment looking amazing. Will definitely reach out again next time I need someone to watch my pet.”

About: I grew up on a farm in Rupert, Idaho running around with cows, chickens, horses, and dogs. I love working on the farm with my Dad and taking care of all of the animals. Being a caretaker is a large part of who I am. As I have also worked in nursing homes and rehabilitation centers. Being a caregiver is not about you. It is about who you take care of. Each individual is different and should be treated that way. I currently live in a spacious apartment that has a fenced in dog park where they can play and make friends. I could also provide one on one activities if that is preferred, so whether your dog is large or small, young and active, or aged and tired, or just tired, or whatever. I would love to accommodate whatever needs you or your pet have.
“We’ve had the good fortune to have Eric watch our dog while we go on vacation for the past few years, first year with Rover. He is far and above our first choice in dog care, and is worth every penny. Eric is fantastic and goes above and beyond to make sure our Jack is calm and happy while we are away. We always come home to a happy content pet and a super clean home. He has great communication and lets us know how Jack is doing. And, he’s just a really nice person who cares. Thanks again, Eric, for letting us all have a great vacation!”
“Scott did a fantastic job taking care of our four legged furry children! He was very attentive to their needs and asked questions to make his stay with them just like us still being home! It's a difficult decision to leave your home to somebody and the care of your family pets but Scott kept us posted on his stay and sent pictures of our pets laid back and relaxed! He even taught our one pet to "Drop it. Very appreciative of that. I would highly recommend Scott to take care of your family pets and their needs.”

“Everything seemed to go well while we were away. House was clean and tidy when we got home and the dogs seemed very happy. Pictures throughout our vacation were appreciated. Meghan brought her dogs over, which Rainier I'm sure loved, so that was bonus.”
“Chase was very easy to communicate with and he was quick to win over our dogs (who honestly can be a bit too hyper for some people). Chase was very prompt and professional, following instructions around meds, baby gates, etc. We'll definitely hope to work with Chase in the future!”

“Joshua was super kind with our special needs senior and very understanding of his needs. Charger looked happy and content and was full of pep when we came home- everything we could ask for!”

“Sofia was exactly what we needed to find in a house sitter. After having numerous bad experiences with other individuals, it was such a relief to come home and find everything in perfect condition. Our plants, pets, and most importantly our dog, were well cared for. Our house was clean, and we are beyond happy. 10/10 would recommend Sofia, and will be booking her again in the future.”

“Summer was so flexible when things didn’t go as we planned. The dogs were taken care of, we didn’t need to cut our trip short, and we learned a thing or two about our “difficult” boy to help set him up for success when we’re away. Already booked her for a second stay!”
About: I’m Zoey, I’m 30 and from Texas, I’ve been in Alaska almost 9 years. Animal lover and plant enthusiast!! I’ve loved taking care of animals since I was a little girl, I’ve always felt connected to all walks of life, and found them extremely intriguing and inspiring. My friends and family have counted on me to walk and sit for their pets for years now, including cats, dogs, ferrets, fish, birds and plants and a couple reptiles here and there :) hope to meet ur pup soon! I’m an owner of almost 50 indoor house plants. Which calls for routine and not quite like an animal, but I love them that much, I love taking care of things is what I’m trying to say :-) I wanna spend more time with animals than humans, life’s ruff. I would absolutely love to meet your pets, and help maintain the overall health of their fitness, taking them on long walks or short, I’m ready for it! Will follow any instructions left and or schedules, about triggers and what to avoid or what to focus on
“Ilona was completely awesome. I cannot recommend her enough! She was super patient with our dog and kept us very updated and shared lots of photos. Super grateful to have found her!”

About: I’m a dog parent of a 3 yo husky mix who keeps me busy. She’s more social than I am, & most days, I’m chasing her around trying to keep up. I like to bike, ski, and play in the mountains, and it’s pretty easy to add another pet into the mix of our high energy lifestyle. Dog sitting was my first job, and I’ve had great experiences with Rover as a pet parent & a sitter I work full time, but I take an hour lunch break every day for dog walks. A typical day starts with a 30 min walk in the morning, 45 mins at lunch, and another 30-60 mins in the evenings. Love to take the dogs hiking, or out to one of the beaches in town, or up on a hiking trail. I have a friendly dog at home, & I require a meet & greet before overnight stays to make sure the personalities work together. Please bring a crate with you if your pet is used to having their own. Please also bring or identify whatever toys, treats, comfort items they can’t live without.
“Ben is great and a perfect dog/house sitter!! He was so accommodating and treated our fur babies like his own. We were able to work with him on short notice and he went above and beyond with everything. We came home to two very well taken care of dogs and a house that was cleaner than when we left it. Highly recommend Ben for anyone who needs a sitter!”

About: My name is Aubrie. I’ve had pets my entire life and for the past three years, I’ve started caring for others in addition to my own. I have experience caring for dogs with special needs, and of all different sizes and breeds. I’m not currently working, so my full time job would be caring for your pet! Daycare drop off and pickup hours are between 7 am and 7 pm. Any time after 7 pm would need to be booked as boarding and pickup for the following morning. I offer extended stays as well. I live in an apartment with the dog park on my same floor, so lots of running around and play time staying here with me and my pet! He is very social and loves to have company, friendly to other dogs and shares toys.

I never did meet Jessie in person as she took over from a prior house sitter while I was out of town. She seemed to do an outstanding job though, was very responsive, kept me updated, and didn't mind spending an extra night when schedules got delayed slightly. Would happily have her house and dog sit again.

Kate was prompt in setting up a meeting with my 2 dogs. She followed the schedule we worked out, stayed with them at night as planned and kept me posted with update pictures, more 1 per day. It was just the right communication. I felt completely at ease and saw that my pups were being well taken care of. She was very pleasant to interact with. She will be my go to for future dog sitting needs. ❣️

We feel like we hit the jack pot with Monica. Monica is a A+ dog/animal sitter. She is like a pets bestie. Monica demonstrated what is expected from a pets owner while caring for their respective pet(s). Her awareness of what and how to interact with the pet she is caring for is 2nd to none. Attentive, loving and treated my dog as if it was her own. I had zero anxiety worrying about my dog while away because of Monica’s professional caring way with my Roulette.
