I only work part of the year, which gives me plenty of free time the rest of the year. Because I travel often, I don’t currently have pets of my own, but that also means I have lots of time, attention, and love to give. I’d be happy to share that with your furry family members.

I’m very respectful of people’s homes and always tailor my care to match how you care for your pets. If your pet is allowed on the furniture or sleeps in bed with you, I’m happy to welcome a warm, furry snuggle buddy. If your pet is crate-trained at bedtime, I’m comfortable with that too. I’m flexible, friendly, and have many years of experience with animals of all kinds—dogs, cats, parrots, horses, ducks, chickens, you name it. I’ve yet to meet a dog I couldn’t connect with, even the most timid ones. People know me for how deeply I love animals, and with me, your pet will be safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs, whether it be dietary, medical or other. I have cared for senior dogs, young dogs with a ton of energy, dogs that walk very slowly but still need some daily activity, dogs with specific diets, etc. As long as you communicate what they need, I will have no problem taking excellent care of them while you're away. My goal is to provide you with assurance that you will not need to worry about your pet/s while you're gone.

I love taking dogs to the dog park and watching them play and interact with other dogs, meeting doggie friends. If you dog does not enjoy being around other dogs, I know plenty of walks we can do together that does not involve putting your pup in a stressful situation. I adapt my activity level to your pets energy. Playing fetch, tug of war, hiking, walking, running. Whatever your pets needs are is what they will get.

What sets me apart is how intuitive and adaptable I am with animals. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routines, and comfort level, especially shy, anxious, or senior pets. We feel like we hit the jack pot with Monica. Monica is a A+ dog/animal sitter. She is like a pets bestie. Monica demonstrated what is expected from a pets owner while caring for their respective pet(s). Her awareness of what and how to interact with the pet she is caring for is 2nd to none. Attentive, loving and treated my dog as if it was her own. I had zero anxiety worrying about my dog while away because of Monica’s professional caring way with my Roulette.
I have known Monica for over 25 years. She is without a doubt the most compassionate person I have ever met concerning animals, and the only person I know that may love your pet more than you do! She is very caring, kind, thoughtful, trustworthy, and just plain sweet. Monica has had a plethora of her own pets and knows how animals act and interact with people and other animals. I can’t think of anyone better to choose to look after my pet. She is the best!
Monica is the perfect person to care for your pets while you're away. She has the same care and concern for your four-legged family member as she would for a two-legged one. She has adopted several dogs in their golden years, just so they could live their days out happy and cared for. She has experience with many different animals, including exotic birds, horses, and amphibians. She is full of patience and curiosity for all animals. If she's staying in your home, she is responsible and respectful of your space. She will treat your home exactly how you'd like. Guaranteed, if you leave Monica in your home with or without pets, you will rest at ease during your time away... and expect plenty of pics of your animals falling in love with her.
Monica has been house/petsitting for me for years. I have two horses, two ducks, a Green Wing Macaw, two elderly mini long hair doxies and an elderly German Shepherd. She handles taking care of them exceptionally well. Even the macaw. Not many people can handle large parrots but she has no problem doing so at all. Petsitting at my house is no easy task and it requires Monica’s complete attention as my GSD has some aggression issues towards my male mini doxie. So vigilance on her part is paramount and she never lets her guard down while feeding and just watching my dogs. Monica absolutely loves animals and I highly recommend her to anyone who needs someone very reliable and conscientious to take care of your animals for you when you are gone. She is very trustworthy and honest and you can be assured that things will be cared for properly
