“Ahnalisa is so sweet, professional and reliable! She kept me updated the whole time with tons of cute pictures and updates. My pets were clearly happy and comfortable, and I really appreciated how easy she was to communicate with and how much she cares about animals. It is priceless to find someone you can trust with your fur-babies and home — I’d 100% book again! 💕”

“My dogs seemed very happy after being with Sorona for the weekend. She made me feel at ease and sent lots of updates which I appreciated. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: Since 2006, I’ve been a dedicated dog mom, foster, and senior caretaker. I’ve stepped away from the 9-to-5 to pursue my true passion: pups! Whether we’re hitting the trails for daily adventures or I’m treating them to a relaxing massage, I’m all-in on canine care. And if the mood is right, I might even serenade them with a song! I’m officially trading the office life for more wagging tails! My schedule is wide open to build genuine, soulful connections with your pups through hikes, massages, and specialized senior care. I’m fully dedicated to my four-legged clients, though I always carve out "paws-on" time to ensure my own pack gets the same love and daily adventures they deserve. If you're looking for someone who treats your dog like family (and maybe even sings them a tune), I’m your person! I truly love caring for pups in the comfort of their own homes. I have a deep respect for the routines and systems you’ve already built—after all, you know your dog best! My goal is to honor those rhythms while gently building a soulful bond of my own. I’ll stick to your schedule to keep things peaceful and familiar, simply adding in my own little "extras"—like a calming massage, a happy song, or a fun trail walk—to make their day a bit brighter. It’s all about keeping them happy, relaxed, and loved right where they belong.
“Samantha was once again a fantastic sitter for my challenging dog. First, he was so excited to see her again after several months, I knew it was a great sign. She once again did a great job keeping me informed of how Archie was doing, took him on regular long walks in the woods, and left the house clean and tidy. I’m so happy to have found a trustworthy sitter to care for my high energy dog!”

“Right from the start what stood out about Zack was his professionalism. He responded to messages quickly, arranged a visit to our home to meet us and our dog, and he arrived with detailed questions regarding our home, dog care, and safety plan. He also was flexible on schedule and worked with us for days he was already booked, he did drop ins and meals on those days for us. It is obvious that he takes his job seriously and I felt at ease leaving our dog and home in his hands. While we were gone he provided daily photos and kept us in the loop, and then once we arrived home we came back to a spotless house and a happy dog, which was such a nice surprise. We would absolutely recommend Zack and will use him again in the future.”

“Nancy did a great job taking care of my two cats with very different needs. A 15 year old and a 1 year old. She followed care instructions well, kept me up to date and sent pictures. She house sat and watched over them for two weeks while I was on vacation out of the country. Thanks Nancy!?”

“Great experience! Pups appeared well cared for, Nick went above what we excpected for the home as well. Photos showed that our boys were happy qhile we were away. Will use Nick again.”

“Jennifer rules! She’s very communicative, flexible, and provided lots of updates on our little guy while we were gone. :) We could tell that his safety and comfort were her priority!”

“Katy is warm, communicative, kind, easy to work with, and goes above and beyond to be an excellent house & petsitter. She took such good care of my animals. I'm DELIGHTED to have gotten to connect with her here, and felt so grateful that she was watching my house and my dog & cat while I was out of town. As soon as I got back to town, I immediately started thinking about when I might work with her next - for future travel. I highly recommend her!”

About: What sets me apart is how intuitive and adaptable I am with animals. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routines, and comfort level, especially shy, anxious, or senior pets. I’m patient, observant, and calm, which helps animals feel safe and settle in quickly. I’m comfortable caring for puppies who need structure and consistency, as well as older pets who may need a slower pace, extra gentleness, or medication support. I communicate clearly with owners and truly enjoy forming meaningful bonds with the animals I care for—not just watching them, but making sure they feel loved, secure, and understood. I only work part of the year, which gives me plenty of free time the rest of the year. Because I travel often, I don’t currently have pets of my own, but that also means I have lots of time, attention, and love to give. I’d be happy to share that with your furry family members. I’m very respectful of people’s homes and always tailor my care to match how you care for your pets. If your pet is allowed on the furniture or sleeps in bed with you, I’m happy to welcome a warm, furry snuggle buddy. If your pet is crate-trained at bedtime, I’m comfortable with that too. I’m flexible, friendly, and have many years of experience with animals of all kinds—dogs, cats, parrots, horses, ducks, chickens, you name it. I’ve yet to meet a dog I couldn’t connect with, even the most timid ones. People know me for how deeply I love animals, and with me, your pet will be safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.
“Gina and David are wonderful sitters! We so appreciated their updates and care of our dog and home while away. They were super communicative and flexible. We highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for roughly 15yrs now. There’s not a pet that scares me or that I would say no to. From dogs & cats, to reptiles, to the most interesting of pets, I love them all! I myself have my own dog. Her name is Elsa and she’s a husky mix. Outside of taking care of her and other pet care, I’m a hairstylist. As of right now I have a flexible schedule, so example is if I pick up a pet job I can easily work my schedule around the pets schedule. I only take care of other pets in their home. I do not remove the pet from their home unless it is an absolute emergency. When I care for pets in their home I ask for a detailed list of their needs and I follow that list.
“Bradley did a fantastic job house and petting sitting my 2 dogs and 5 chickens. He was a good communicator and followed instructions perfectly. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a pet sitter.”

About: Ive had dogs since I was 12 years old I helped with training, administration of meds and long walks for so long it is like second nature. I am great with any communication requests/ requirements and I hope to help you make this process easy and smooth. 😁 I’m currently a student at UAA doing morning classes Monday-Thursday from 9am- 3:30pm and weekends I have short 4 hours shift usually around closing with is 5-9:30 but might differ depending on my managers needs, but it will always only be 4 hours so I’m very available I currently live in an apartment that is pet friendly, but due to my limited space and a pet fee I would have to cover I cannot do boarding at my place of residence.

“I am a bit of a worrier when I travel away from my dog, Luna. However, this trip I was so grateful to have peace of mind. I received regular updates & wonderful pictures of my happy Luna. I will be booking with her again in the future & can confidently recommend her to anyone looking for truly quality care while you’re away.”

“Traveled out of state for Christmas and had the best gift from Izabelle! She stayed over in our home caring for our little Milo, who can be a little much and who needs someone with a lot of patience and understanding. Izabelle did just that and more, during the busiest time of year! Izabelle was a great house guest and dog sitter and would very much so, recommend her to care for your 🐾 loved ones!”

“Erica went above and beyond for our dogs. She helped us out in a bind with a last-minute booking/availability and quickly came by to meet the pups. It was so nice to leave town for a night and not have to worry about them, and she kept us updated often with texts and pictures. Highly recommend! Will definitely be booking with her again. Thank you Erica!!!”

“Katraena is very kind and professional. She is great at not only giving your pets the best care, but updating you on what’s happening, and sending fun pics and videos. She is so thoughtful!”

Bear Valley pet parents share their Rover experiences
Alex was a great house and dog sitter to my doodles. She communicated well and sent update photos and videos of the dogs. She is the first dog sitter we hired through Rover and she made the experience worry free for us. My elderly dog took to her very well. Will re-book when we need dog sitting again!
