About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ve spent years caring for pets for friends and family. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I make sure every animal gets plenty of exercise, affection, playtime, and care while their family is away. I love creating a fun, safe, and comfortable environment for every animal I watch. I am great with any communication requests/requirements and I hope to help make this process easy and smooth :) As a General Manager in retail, I have a very flexible schedule and am able to create my own work hours. I can adjust my day as needed and take breaks when necessary, making it easy for me to return home for feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, and general care. My schedule typically ranges between the hours of 9am to 9:30pm, but I have the flexibility to structure those hours around the needs of my pet. I worked in child care for a couple years and I am the oldest four siblings. I also grew up with our family dog named Pookah. While I understand that caring for humans and dogs are different, I have experience caring for others with the upmost respect, care, kindness, and patience. I love taking walks and getting outside. Overall, I strive to create a very warm and fun environment for any pet I care for.

About: I have been taking care of pets for family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. I am reliable, consistent and build relationships with the pets to keep them comfortable while you are away. My full-time job has summers off, so I have more open availability. Barring the 4 or 5-hour gaps in my day with my part-time job, I can give your pet the care they need/require. I have two medium-sized dogs and a geriatric cat (he is 26!). Caring for them brings me joy and purpose. I promise to carry over that same kindness and compassion that I have with my pets to your pets. I also understand what is necessary to take care of older pets, so if they need a little extra help, I am up for it.

About: Hey! My name is Spencer! I’m an Alaska local and have been a dog watcher and house sitter for many years, but am new to Rover! I grew up with and around dogs and am very experienced in keeping dogs of all kinds safe, happy, and healthy. I have a completely fenced yard, am able to take dogs on frequent and long walks, and can provide 24/7 care. Above all, I will ensure your dog gets my undivided attention. Lastly, you know what's best for your pets, so I will always do my best to accommodate your needs! When dog sitting, it is my priority to ensure that your dog lets lots of care and attention. I love hiking and walking in nearby parks, so I take all the dogs I take care of for walks as much as possible. I am happy to accommodate based on other needs! I find it very important to spend quality time with the dogs that I watch, so I am with the dogs very often and take them on their favorite actives as much as possible. This creates a low stress environment where the dogs can build trust and feel safe and comfortable during their stay.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. They have had all types of personalities which has helped me learn what is best for each dog. I currently have a dog with super high anxiety, so I am willing to work with similar dogs as I understand patience is necessary. I have also wanted my aunts 3 large dogs on several occasions! I love every type of dog and cannot wait to work with them! I am currently taking an online course from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I am available 7 days a week and can usually work around different times for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, or pet care needs. Since my coursework is online, I’m able to plan my day around the pets I’m caring for and give them plenty of attention. I’m happy to help with morning, afternoon, evening, or weekend care, and I can be flexible with last-minute needs when possible. My open schedule allows me to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they get the care, exercise, and attention they’re used to. I care for pets like they’re my own by giving them attention, patience, and a routine they’re comfortable with. I follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medication, and anything else their pet needs. I make sure pets always have fresh water, a safe environment, and plenty of love and playtime. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure the home is clean and secure before I leave. I’m also happy to send photo updates so owners can feel confident their pets are doing well.

For years I’ve cared for my friends’ dogs whenever they traveled, and after realizing how much I enjoy it, I decided to join Rover. At home, I have a dachshund named Nugget and a cat named Cosmo, so caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life. I live in a single-family home with my son, and we have a fully fenced backyard with a medium-sized doggy door, giving dogs plenty of room to safely play and explore. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home while they’re with us. I’ll follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible and send regular photo updates so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work from home 4 days a week so I am available often. Thursday I go into the office 9-5, so animal would need to handle some alone time (crated/house trained) I follow instructions left by owner and if I need any further instructions I would contact owner. I am pretty laid back and animal would have full access to home and backyard.
