About: Hi there, my name is Erica! I grew up with dogs and currently have my own rescue pup, an eight-year-old German Shepherd mix. Over the years I’ve cared for friends and family's pets, both for pet sitting and walking. I have experience caring for dogs of all different sizes and breeds. I love the outdoors and will ensure your pup has plenty of fun and exercise! My schedule is currently pretty flexible, I am available during the day most of the week and have some weekend availability. I am happy to discuss your needs of when your pet needs care! I am happy to discuss your pets' needs, and their daily routine to make sure they are walked, fed, or let out in a timely manner. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was young—dogs/puppies and cats. Very patient with younger animals or with more energy that require more attention and/or more technical care. I have a flexible schedule that allows the ability to stop in throughout the day. Available most weekends, early evenings and flexible throughout the day. With extensive experience with petsitting I’m very skilled in sensing the time needed and patience to build trust and a comfortable space and presence for one’s pets.

About: I have been taking care of pets for family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. I am reliable, consistent and build relationships with the pets to keep them comfortable while you are away. My full-time job has summers off, so I have more open availability. Barring the 4 or 5-hour gaps in my day with my part-time job, I can give your pet the care they need/require. I have two medium-sized dogs and a geriatric cat (he is 26!). Caring for them brings me joy and purpose. I promise to carry over that same kindness and compassion that I have with my pets to your pets. I also understand what is necessary to take care of older pets, so if they need a little extra help, I am up for it.

About: I have two dogs of my own that I’ve raised since they were puppies, so I understand the full range of care from early training to senior needs. My oldest dog is 11 and my youngest is 8. This gives me experience with all ranges of dog care from puppy routines, basic training, and providing extra patience and comfort for aging dogs. I treat every pet like my own and focus on creating a safe, calm, and consistent environment so they feel comfortable while you’re away. As a teacher on summer vacation, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. This allows me to be available for consistent visits, walks, and extra attention to meet each pet’s individual needs. I care for pets by following their usual routines as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. In both my home and a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, get plenty of exercise, and receive lots of attention and affection.

About: I love dogs, I like to do what they want! We live in Anchorage so dogs close by are preferable. We would love to do dog walks or drop in visits. We get outside a lot and like to get off leash if it's a safe area and your dog won't take off. Otherwise retractable leashes are the way to go. We are responsible about picking up dog poop. We will show your dog a good time! We will customize our care for your dog, just let us know any details you need us to know. On walks we will keep them on a leash unless it’s a dog park or an off leash area and know that they will return to our command. Whatever schedule is required is fine. Must check the calendar before full schedule is decided. Just let us know what time the walk would need to be and it should be fine. We can do a dog walks as needed, and I may have my son‘s help out. We usually try to keep them on, always to be safe.

I grew up with and around dogs and am very experienced in keeping dogs of all kinds safe, happy, and healthy. I have a completely fenced yard, am able to take dogs on frequent and long walks, and can provide 24/7 care. Above all, I will ensure your dog gets my undivided attention. Lastly, you know what's best for your pets, so I will always do my best to accommodate your needs! When dog sitting, it is my priority to ensure that your dog lets lots of care and attention. I love hiking and walking in nearby parks, so I take all the dogs I take care of for walks as much as possible. I am happy to accommodate based on other needs! I find it very important to spend quality time with the dogs that I watch, so I am with the dogs very often and take them on their favorite actives as much as possible. This creates a low stress environment where the dogs can build trust and feel safe and comfortable during their stay.

About: Do you know I graduated from a Caine Handling and Care program?? I did! Both my dog and I! Once I learned to how "speak" dog, our bond deepened beyond my imagination. I thoroughly enjoy communicating thru body language with dogs and love to observe and respect these wonderful companies we're blessed to have part of our lives. Every dog deserves the best care, handling, exercise, nurishment and love. They need attention, affection and interaction just like humans. It's truly a unique and one of a kind relationship we get to experience with our pets. They are so very special and demonstrate the purest forms of trust, respect, loyalty and friendship. We as humans are so lucky to have them as our family and companions.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ve spent years caring for pets for friends and family. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I make sure every animal gets plenty of exercise, affection, playtime, and care while their family is away. I love creating a fun, safe, and comfortable environment for every animal I watch. I am great with any communication requests/requirements and I hope to help make this process easy and smooth :) As a General Manager in retail, I have a very flexible schedule and am able to create my own work hours. I can adjust my day as needed and take breaks when necessary, making it easy for me to return home for feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, and general care. My schedule typically ranges between the hours of 9am to 9:30pm, but I have the flexibility to structure those hours around the needs of my pet. I worked in child care for a couple years and I am the oldest four siblings. I also grew up with our family dog named Pookah. While I understand that caring for humans and dogs are different, I have experience caring for others with the upmost respect, care, kindness, and patience. I love taking walks and getting outside.
