About: I have been taking care of pets for family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. I am reliable, consistent and build relationships with the pets to keep them comfortable while you are away. My full-time job has summers off, so I have more open availability. Barring the 4 or 5-hour gaps in my day with my part-time job, I can give your pet the care they need/require. I have two medium-sized dogs and a geriatric cat (he is 26!). Caring for them brings me joy and purpose. I promise to carry over that same kindness and compassion that I have with my pets to your pets. I also understand what is necessary to take care of older pets, so if they need a little extra help, I am up for it.
“This was the second time we used Brandon at the last minute to do drop in visits for our dogs. He was great and sent us updates and photos. We will continue to use his service.”
“Lauren was fantastic with our cat while we were away. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure our cat was comfortable and well looked after. We really appreciated the updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind and would absolutely book with Lauren again!”

“Izabelle is very reliable and punctual. She sent pics of each visit and added an additional visit when our flight was delayed. I would recommend her for for your pets needs.”

“Shelly was great! She had excellent communication including being flexible with our initial meet n’ greet, letting me know she has arrived at my home, and sending me pics of my pups playing in the yard. She is professional, personable, and I feel very comfortable trusting her with my pups and home.”

About: Hi! I’m Susie. I’ve always been an animal lover and know how much our pets mean to us. For years I’ve cared for my friends’ dogs whenever they traveled, and after realizing how much I enjoy it, I decided to join Rover. At home, I have a dachshund named Nugget and a cat named Cosmo, so caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life. I live in a single-family home with my son, and we have a fully fenced backyard with a medium-sized doggy door, giving dogs plenty of room to safely play and explore. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home while they’re with us. I’ll follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible and send regular photo updates so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work from home 4 days a week so I am available often. Thursday I go into the office 9-5, so animal would need to handle some alone time (crated/house trained) I follow instructions left by owner and if I need any further instructions I would contact owner. I am pretty laid back and animal would have full access to home and backyard.
“Whitney was very attentive and asked great questions on our meet and greet. That was super helpful to me as I was a first time Rover user. She's great at receiving feedback and adjusting visit-by-visit! The dogs loved her so I'll be rebooking for the next few weeks! Highly recommend Whitney as your dog sitter, she's made the whole process super easy and worry-free.”

“Amanda has watched my cat on two separate occasions now. She’s a great sitter who obviously cares a lot and has a lot of experience with animals. My kitty always seems happy and well taken care of. She’s quickly becoming my go to sitter!”

When providing care in my clients' homes, I follow their specific instructions regarding feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any other special needs their pets may have. I make sure to provide plenty of attention and affection to make the pets feel comfortable and happy in their own environment.
“i really appreciated how communicative and helpful ariane was! this was a last minute request and she was still able to accommodate me, which i’m really grateful for because i’m not sure what i would’ve done otherwise. my puppy loved spending time with her and getting out of his crate for a few hours while i was gone. loveddd the pictures and videos I received. i would definitely book with her again!”

“Eric did an exceptional job! It was clear that he went above and beyond giving our cat some quality love and playtime, was communicative, and was generous with cute photos. During our meet and greet, he was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, and curious about our cat's habits. We would highly recommend him.”

About: Hello! My name is Aidan Brion and I’m 22 years old. I am a gig worker who is just getting started on Rover. Then I hope I can be the one you choose! I understand having a pet can be a very demanding responsibility. They say it takes a village to raise a child and I would say the same goes for your pet. Thanks so much for your time and consideration. Please message me at any point if you’re interested in my services. Have a great day!

About: I’m a dog parent of a 3 yo husky mix who keeps me busy. She’s more social than I am, & most days, I’m chasing her around trying to keep up. I like to bike, ski, and play in the mountains, and it’s pretty easy to add another pet into the mix of our high energy lifestyle. Dog sitting was my first job, and I’ve had great experiences with Rover as a pet parent & a sitter I work full time, but I take an hour lunch break every day for dog walks. A typical day starts with a 30 min walk in the morning, 45 mins at lunch, and another 30-60 mins in the evenings. Love to take the dogs hiking, or out to one of the beaches in town, or up on a hiking trail. I have a friendly dog at home, & I require a meet & greet before overnight stays to make sure the personalities work together. Please bring a crate with you if your pet is used to having their own. Please also bring or identify whatever toys, treats, comfort items they can’t live without.
