About: My name is Jacob and I have 15 years of experience caring for mine and my family's pets. I also have approximately 4 years of volunteer experience at shelters caring for cats and dogs. I have experience walking and caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds and energy levels. From tiny pups to large, strong dogs, I'm confident handling them safely and calmly. I've worked with dogs that have behavioral challenges such as leash reactivity, anxiety, fearfulness and high energy. I'm patient, attentive, and always focused on understanding each dog's unique needs. I'm autistic, and I've found that this often allows me to connect especially well with animals. I'm very attentive to body language, routines, and subtle behavior changes, which helps me respond calmly and consistently- particularly with dogs who need a little extra understanding. My goal is to make every walk a positive, stress-free experience. My schedule is pretty flexible to do drop-in care for your pets or walks as needed. I am willing to work with clients so they can get the care they need for their pets. I am willing to do drop-in care at client's homes as needed. I can also take dogs for walks from client's homes as requested by client.
“I wish I could give higher than 5 stars. Olga was the best you could possibly ask for. Regardless of any experience you have had on here before I guarantee she does better. I have the utmost gratitude for her for how well she took care of my animals and my home.”

“Sinead was excellent, responsive and provided pictures and updates every visit. The cats had plenty of play time and pets and warmed up to her very fast. Know your cats are in caring and thoughtful hands while you are away.”

“Whitney was very attentive and asked great questions on our meet and greet. That was super helpful to me as I was a first time Rover user. She's great at receiving feedback and adjusting visit-by-visit! The dogs loved her so I'll be rebooking for the next few weeks! Highly recommend Whitney as your dog sitter, she's made the whole process super easy and worry-free.”

“Izzy did a great job taking care of our dog. He's took to her as soon as she walked in the door on her screening meeting. He's 15 years old and has never allowed anyone to take him on a walk besides family, but he went with Izzy. We've already booked her for another trip we have next month.”

“Shelly was great! She had excellent communication including being flexible with our initial meet n’ greet, letting me know she has arrived at my home, and sending me pics of my pups playing in the yard. She is professional, personable, and I feel very comfortable trusting her with my pups and home.”

“Very impressed with Erica! She is timely, conscientious, and reliable. She is experienced with positive reinforcement training, which has been perfect consistency for my puppy-in-training! Will continue to book her in the future.”

“Brianne is amazing! She has been so such a great help with my little guy. Always on time and great at communicating. I love getting daily pupdates after her visit.”

“Rachel was amazing and professional and I felt totally comfortable leaving my pet in her hands! Would definitely recommend and plan to rebook! Loved all the pics and updates I got and it helped me relax knowing she was taking care of him”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience caring for dogs who may be reactive or selective around other animals. I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust when your dog requires extra awareness and responsibility. I’m attentive, proactive, and committed to keeping every dog in my care safe by avoiding risky situations and managing walks and interactions thoughtfully. I also grew up in a dog-loving household with four or more dogs at any given time. Our home was the go-to place for family and friends to leave their dogs while traveling or working, and at times we even cared for entire litters of puppies. Because of this, I have hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments, and I’m comfortable providing dependable, attentive care tailored to each dog’s individual needs. I currently work from home on freelance engineering design projects, and my own home improvement projects. This means I have a heaps of availability to pay attention to your pet! I am an active individual that recently moved to Anchorage, I love walking with dogs to explore neighborhoods and get exercise. I also have a yard at my home, which is unfenced, and I look forward to romping around with leashed dogs. Regarding situations where dogs stay at my house, I currently have two young cats which any visiting dogs will have to be okay with. Because my house has two levels, I do have the ability to block the stairway and provide my cats with a sanctuary if the cats get tired of dog games.

About: During my childhood I often spent time with my grandmother and her pack of boxers. Now I have a Boston Terrier named Jack. I can handle a pack of up to 8 on my own I do not currently have a job so I am almost always available. I don't do much other than care for my dog and my aunts dogs as well as clean. I can adhere to your dogs rules, whether you want them on furniture or not, whether you want them crated at certain times or not. I have not administered medicine before but I am willing to learn if need be.

“As usual, Rachael went above and beyond with my needy little ones. She stayed at the house this time and also took care of my plants. I came home to happy dogs and a clean house. Thank you Rachael!”
“Eric did an exceptional job! It was clear that he went above and beyond giving our cat some quality love and playtime, was communicative, and was generous with cute photos. During our meet and greet, he was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, and curious about our cat's habits. We would highly recommend him.”

“Alex did a wonderful job dropping in to take care of my cat, Delilah, while I was out of the country. Alex left detailed drop-in notes with photos and took great care in following the instructions for feeding that I left. Alex spent time with Delilah during each visit for some much-needed cat playtime. I had complete confidence that Delilah was being well cared for while I was away for the week. Thank you, Alex!”

“Mary took phenomenal care of our old pup, and kept us updated appropriately with every check in. She is super considerate, professional, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I will go to her first for future care and I highly recommend! Thanks again!”

Katy is fantastic! She stopped by midday to let our dog out for a potty break and even brought in our packages, which we really appreciated. Communication was excellent the entire time; she kept us updated and made everything feel easy and stress-free. We’ll definitely be using her again!

Callen was wonderful. She sent lots of photos and gave regular updates on my cats. One of my cats is having some kind of medical issue that is manifesting in difficult behavior change, but Callen handled the unique situation easily. I would certainly book her again.
