“My go to pet sitter. Takes amazing care of my dog and cat, communicates well, and very trustworthy. Continue to look forward booking with Rachel!”

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals just about my whole life. I’ve taken care of cats & dogs from the puppy/kitten stage all the way to senior. I have taken care of my friends and family’s pets as well and id love to meet and care for yours too :) I’ve also volunteered at an animal shelter. Currently I am available any day, anytime. This may change if I get another job but right now I’m available whenever someone needs me :) I currently have a cat at home. And I take care of my family’s dogs whenever they need it. I also volunteer with animals. . I try to spend as much time with animals as I can.

“Omg she did amazing. She made sure each of our 7 dogs are comfortable and happy while we were on a trip. She went above and beyond simply dogsitting. She walked our big dog (which made her day), and made sure that my elderly dog received her eye medication before we arrived in the evening. She kept us posted about how the dogs are doing and sent photos and video updates. I definitely recommend her!”

“It has taken me a bit to get to this review, sorry Zack. Zack was amazing! Not only did he take excellent care of Rex, he text me photos, and even took him to the K9 swim for us. The best part of having Zack sit for Rex, was being able to relax on our vacation. Rex is very spoiled with love, and needs his human contact. He is also recovering from a back injury, so needs special handling getting on and off of things. Zack was the perfect sitter. In addition my home was not only as I had left it, it was cleaner. Something that had never happened with sitters I employed by knowing them as family or friends. I not only recommend Zack highly, I recommend using Rover to find a sitter for your dog over using family & friends. The professionalism was well worth it.”

“Sarah did an amazing job with our crew, which is two cats and a dog while we were out of town, house sitting. She was very respectful and took great care of our animals.”

“Wonderful dog and house sitter! Nancy sets the standard for trustworthiness. She is punctual, responsive, and proactively helpful. And our dogs didn’t seem to miss us at all, which felt a little disloyal, but at least we didn’t feel guilty about being away from home!”

“Jennifer watched my four pets for over a week while I was at a family reunion. My pets instantly liked her. She is responsive and communicative. It went smoothly, and she handled last minute changes with grace. I came back to healthy pets. Absolutely recommended for pet sitting. Thank you Jennifer!”

“The animals were content when I got home, making it clear they were cared for and loved while I was away. The house was tidy and clean, with a load of linens in the laundry. Thanks for everything, Ellen!”

“Alexa was amazing with our big boy Gino and took great care of the house. She was quick to communicate and was willing to extend her stay when we had a family matter to deal with. Would trust our dogs and house with her again for sure!”

“Benita is wonderful! She took wonderful care of our babies and went above and beyond keeping the house up. Highly recommended❤️!”

About: I’ve loved dogs as long as I can remember and have been pet sitting for the last 5 years. With experience working at a dog training and boarding center, I’ve developed patience and understanding, especially with high-energy pups and those with behavioral quirks. I will get your dog out of the house and having fun every day! I take dogs hiking, swimming, biking, running or skiing every day and listen to your dogs wants and needs. While I am passionate about working with high energy dogs I love every dog and will cater to their specific interests. I also have a medical alert service dog for diabetes, which has taught me how to handle most situation. I was taught CPR and how to handle a dog fight by certified dog trainers. I genuinely love dogs and treat every pet like family, providing reliable, loving care along with clear communication and a spotless home. Clients can trust me to be attentive, responsible, and caring every step of the way. I work early (starting at 5am) as a lifeguard but will always make sure your dogs schedule is my top priority. I will be with them anytime I’m not working and take time off if requested/planned at least a month ahead. I’ve worked with many dogs with medical conditions and am always on top of medications and any additional care requirements. I will make sure your dog is safe by staying attentive and calm in all situations. I will provide consistent care and clear communication. my goal is to make your pet feel loved and secure and I will ensure a clean and safe environment and supervise all outdoor activities so your dog can play and relax confidently!

“I had a long trip out of state over the holidays planned, and I was worried about leaving my fur babies for so long. But I was really grateful to have had someone there with the animals who was clearly so caring and attentive. Her communication was great, very friendly, and the animals clearly loved her! Got regular pictures so I knew they were in good shape and happy. Thank you thank you thank you!”

“Hope and her husband were great! They made me feel at ease leaving my shy pups in their care and I felt they treated them like their pets. Highly recommend booking them.”

“Suzanne took great care of our dogs and home and was always responsive while we were away. The dogs were relaxed and comfortable upon our return.”

“Megan was great! She made me feel so comfortable leaving my fur baby for an 8 day vacation. She constantly sent me updates and I came back to a healthy and happy kitty.”

“They were great! Our cat was well cared for, our house was left very clean and neat. They sent us photos of our cat which we really appreciated. They even picked up our packages from our neighbor. They were awesome!”

“Ashley stayed in our home and took care of our older guy, Finn. She took great care of him - when the visit was over, he seemed sad that she was leaving. He was in great shape and great spirits, which is saying something because he suffers from separation anxiety. Our home was in perfect shape when we returned. I highly recommend her - she is wonderful.”

“Amber was able to pet and house-sit for our two cats and one dog on short notice. We were worried because one of our cats had recent surgery and needed medicine and careful watching. Amber was loving, gentle, meticulous with the medicine and bandages, took her to the vet twice while we were away. We were so relieved to have such an attentive pet-sitter! She sent us updates daily. She kept the cats inside (not easy!), and took the dog out for walks regularly. The house was clean when we returned - I can't think of a single thing she could have done better. Thank you, Amber!”

“Sarah is so good with my shy girl. Diane loves Sarah and gets excited enough to do zoomies. Very glad to have found Sarah. It's nice to get updates and pictures and know Diane is in good hands. Thanks Sarah!”

About: My love of animals is obvious when I interact with them. I have had dogs for most of my adult life. I have senior and puppy dog experience. I am happy to chill with a senior who needs more low key interaction or work on potty training or whatever command(s) your puppy is working on. I have great working knowledge of beginning stress behaviors in dogs, and can therefore act appropriately to get them to a comfortable place away from the threat. Or just wear your puppy out while you’re at work. I am extremely versatile and want to work with you so that your animal is not only comfortable, but hopefully finds a friend in me. Your animal’s safety is my top priority, and then of course fun. I take on the responsibility of looking after someone’s pet very seriously. I am not currently working right now so my schedule is extremely flexible. I do have other obligations, but my s nestle is probably more flexible and open than many sitters. In my home I have two kids, 3 and 9 that have been raised around multiple dogs their entire lives. I wouldn’t bring my children into a client’s home, but they may be in my home- more or less depending on the week. My pup is crate trained, but is allowed on furniture and sleeps with us every night. When we lost our seniors pretty close together my eldest took it rough, (me too). Lucy, now 2 has been a joy to play with and train. She knows many commands and tricks. I am happy to do as little as food and water with a pat on the head, to walks, to hanging out with doggos while you’re working and happy to help if you’re out of town. I can do recurring or one time. My schedule is open and many Alaskans travel for work and play. I think my availability is a great way for us to work out possibly complicated routines. I can’t wait to meet you and your pet!
