About: I have owned and cared for dogs since I was a little girl . Currently I have a two very spoiled furbabies that are my life. We like to stay active by going for walks and outings to the dog park. I love dogs and feel comfortable handling all sizes/breeds. The last two years I’ve spent at a doggie daycare/boarding facility as a handler dealing with all shapes, sizes, breeds and even reactive dogs. I enjoy being active with dogs and providing them with activities so they don't get bored/destructive. I love going to parks, playing fetch, and going on long walks. I currently only work part time, on weekend nights, so would have plenty of time to be with your pet(s)! About: I have been cat sitting and dog walking for the past two years for coworkers and family friends- and now I’m on Rover too! I’ve got two golden retrievers of my own who I love dearly as well! I am a student at the University of Vermont studying political science and english! During the summers I come home to Anchorage, Alaska. I love all things outdoors- hiking, running, you name it. I have also been working part time at Middle Way Cafe (in Anchorage) for almost 3 years. Because I have grown up with animals, I feel confident in my ability to care for them. About: Roughly two years ago, I received a call from a colleague asking to house sit for a weekend after a previous bad experience with boarding two dogs. Both with health issues and one of them not sociable with other dogs. My colleague came back to a clean home, garden watered, mail organized and the dogs very well loved and walked everyday. Ever since, I have housesat for anywhere from 48hrs to nearly 30 days at a time with zero issues. Bed time rituals, feeding songs, walking a slightly reactive dog, cuddling very closely at night were the priorities at the top of the to-do list. Now that two years have passed since that first call I have decided to try my hand at truly making dog walking/house sitting/drop-in playdates a side gig! I work 12hrs a day, rotating weeks 3 days or 4 days a week. Typically Wednesday/Thursday-Saturday off every week. I am up early most mornings in my time off, can make myself available for late nights Wednesday-Friday as well. In your home, I will follow all requests diligently, check all doors and windows before leaving or before bed. I am MANDT de-escalation trained, CPR/BLS certified and will soon be training to further my EMS-adjacent skillsets. In emergencies, I understand the importance of prioritizing the fur babies and keeping them out of harm’s way.

About: For as long as I can remember, I've had a dog (or two) by my side. I have cared for them through every stage from playful puppies to senior dogs needing extra patience and specialized care. I currently have three large dogs, so I'm comfortable handling big breeds and understand their exercise, training, and daily care needs. I'm confident reinforcing basic training and maintaining the routines your dog is already learning. I'm also comfortable administering medications when needed and have experience working with dogs that are reactive, always using a calm, patient, and safety-first approach. I know every dog has a unique personality, and my goal is to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I'll care for your dog as if they were one of my own. Pet care fits well into my routine because I work a full-time job with a flexible shift schedule. I have flexibility in the mornings, evenings, and weekends, allowing me to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays. I always prioritize providing dependable, consistent care and will work with you to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible. I currently don't offer boarding in my home because I have three large dogs, and I want to ensure every pet receives the space and attention they deserve. When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize keeping them comfortable by following their normal routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications, and any training or household rules you have in place. At home, my own dogs follow a consistent daily routine with regular potty breaks, meals, walks, playtime, and plenty of rest. I'll do my best to keep your pet's day as familiar and stress-free as possible while you're away. I'll also provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I love animals and have had them in my home growing up my whole life, however my current building does not permit pets. It’s important to me to be around animals every day and I truly value the time I get to spend with them. I love getting to know new animals and their quirks, understand their needs and how to respond to their specific needs when their owner may be away for lengths of time. I have experience with senior care in ushering my own dog through the final years of his life and providing him with as comfortable and dignified an existence as I could, while also following doctors orders and administering prescriptions. I have experience with reactive and re-homed animals and am patient and sensitive to the traumatizing effects of being re-homed and/or having an unknown history. I’m detail oriented, reliable and timely, and am compassionate towards animals with limited capabilities. I’m good at this because animals are easy to love, I like to be active and meet them at their level of energy and ability, whatever that may be. I am also very happy to send photos and daily updates to provide peace of mind that your loved ones are being well taken care of. I work a flexible schedule with minimal hours and try to plan my life around spending time with animals that bring me joy. I enjoy getting up and out multiple times a day, exercise and movement are very important to me and pet care fits naturally with this. I think it’s important to enter with the mindset that each pet is different and will have their own needs and specific care instructions. I try to get outside at least once a day and am very sensitive to meeting your dog at their activity level. As a pet sitter in your home, the biggest thing that I have to offer your loved ones is security through reliable and consistent presence through the duration of the contract. Separation from an owner can be extremely tough on animals and providing an inconsistent or inattentive presence can be damaging and unfair. I am also a lover and will of course be showering your pet with loads and loads of love and attention!
