About: Our dog passed away and I miss her very much. Recently relocated to Alaska and loving it! Have extra time on my hands to care for your furry bundle. I’ll take care of her/him/them like my own. Sorry I can’t commit to a reoccurring schedule at this time. Currently between jobs (indefinitely!) so I have plenty of time until then to give your loved ones attention. I love being outdoors so plenty of fresh air is not an issue or playing inside and curling up on sofa with your fluff ball is cool too. No problem if your pet prefers their own space, I am open to all types of personalities. Happy to care for pets in your home according to your normal routine. I am currently renting so care in my home is not an option. Thanks for understanding.

About: Hi! Like most of us here i’ve been looking after dogs and cats for most of my life. From my own, to family, to friends and roommates pets. Recently i had the experience of looking after an elderly dog for a friend, he was 12 and had a failing hing leg, cataracts and arthritis. His eyes required drops, and pain meds with his food. Walking him was hard, but only to see him struggle, it gave me great joy to be able to give him all of my patience and attention in love in such a difficult time. I recently moved to Anchorage and haven’t been working here yet, taking time to enjoy being able to explore and have fun with winter sports. My schedule is completely open, i have no other obligations at this time, other than taking care of my own pets We have a large backyard here that our dog can run around and play in during the potty breaks, which is great for her as she loves to run. I take Chuli with me for most all of my hikes and drives around the area.

About: I have spent most of my life caring for rescue animals. I grew up on a farm that rehabilitated race horses and have continued to adopt and love animals in need. I have dog grooming experience, training, basic first aid/medical care (old pups and special needs). I currently am off for several months from working on the slope so I have all the time in the world to love your baby. I am also insured through PCI (Pet Care Insurance) on top of the Rover Garuntee. Currently, I am off work from the slope till the winter so I have all the time in the world. Walks whenever needed. Dog park if they want. Whatever is best for your pet. Following your instructions on how best to care for them. And of course, lots of attention, lots of cuddles! If they are in my home, I have no problem with them.Being on my furniture or sleeping in bed.

About: I have been cat sitting and dog walking for the past two years for coworkers and family friends- and now I’m on Rover too! I’ve got two golden retrievers of my own who I love dearly as well! I am a student at the University of Vermont studying political science and english! During the summers I come home to Anchorage, Alaska. I love all things outdoors- hiking, running, you name it. I have also been working part time at Middle Way Cafe (in Anchorage) for almost 3 years. Because I have grown up with animals, I feel confident in my ability to care for them. I also volunteer at our local animal shelters and am passionate about finding animals good homes! I value communication and will update you on your pets mood, send pictures, etc. I have a lot of experience with anxious dogs, so rest assured your pets are in good hands even if they tend to be nervous when you leave.

About: I have owned and cared for dogs since I was a little girl . Currently I have a two very spoiled furbabies that are my life. We like to stay active by going for walks and outings to the dog park. I love dogs and feel comfortable handling all sizes/breeds. The last two years I’ve spent at a doggie daycare/boarding facility as a handler dealing with all shapes, sizes, breeds and even reactive dogs. I enjoy being active with dogs and providing them with activities so they don't get bored/destructive. I love going to parks, playing fetch, and going on long walks. Let me know what your dog's favorite activity is and I'll do my best to accommodate! I look forward to meeting you should you decide I’m a good match for you and your fur babies! I currently only work part time, on weekend nights, so would have plenty of time to be with your pet(s)! My schedule is very open I prefer watching dogs in their own home but have some flexibility at my house to possibly watch a dog there. My two dogs go with me as well, if able.
