“My wife and I booked a last-minute trip for Thanksgiving so that our daughter could meet her great-grandparents for the first time, but lo and behold... all of the boarding facilities were full up. With no other route, we turned to Rover, having had Elysia come a few months prior to look after our cat. She took AMAZING care of our dog and cat, and came over multiple times a day to visit, let our dog out, and even play. Our dog, Rocky, usually doesn't like other people, but he quickly warmed up to Elysia. She definitely knows how to work well with all animals, even the timid ones like Rocky. I'd recommend Elysia 10 times out of 10. She did an amazing job taking care of our furry friends and I cannot thank her enough!”

About: I grew up with six dogs of various sizes and personalities, and I’ve been walking dogs since the time I could hold a leash, even more than one dog at a time. I am very patient when it comes to overly excited dogs that may bark at everything and drag you across the yard, and I love to run, walk, play, groom, or do anything to follow their routine and needs. I’m not afraid to get dirty, go for a jaunt in the rain or in the dark, or pick up poop. I’ve also volunteered walking dogs and cleaning kennels at local animal shelters growing up. I am super friendly and welcoming person both to dogs and people and I’m firm but not mean. I don’t own a dog currently so I’m in need of some fun times with four-legged friends! I'm available to house-pet sit, walk your dogs, and/or drop by for a quick check in. I love dogs the most but will watch any animal:) I will respect yours and your pets' space if I am staying over or stopping by. I am happy to adhere any and all routines and restrictions to make sure your pet feels at home. Alternatively, I have a house with fenced in yard. I live with one other adult and no children or other pets. We are big dog and cat fans and are welcome to hosting animals to stay over as alternative.
