About: I’ve grown up around dogs and currently have two corgis of my own, Chimi and Churro, so caring for pups is just part of my everyday life. They’re my little adventure buddies, and we love being outside together, going on walks, exploring trails, and soaking up fresh air. Because I’m used to handling my own energetic dogs daily, I’m comfortable with all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Whether your dog needs a long walk to burn energy, playtime, or slower, gentle care, I’m happy to match their pace and routine. My goal is lots of love, exercise, and a very happy dog. Im currently working at a dental office Monday-Thursday 9am-5:30pm. So I’m available most weekdays if you need a quick walk or drop-ins, if not I'm available Friday-Sunday with whatever pet needs you may have! In your home, I’m respectful, clean, and treat your space like my own. I make sure pets feel calm and comfortable by keeping their environment familiar and stress-free. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. On walks, dogs are always leashed and closely supervised. I carefully follow feeding schedules, routines, and any special instructions to keep things consistent and stress-free.

About: I enjoy keeping cats and dogs well and at ease while their owners are away. I’ve had many cats and a couple of dogs. I know leash commands and I like walking. I’ll keep you updated about your pets. Other than an 8-day trip in mid July, I’m available for pet care. About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ve spent years caring for pets for friends and family. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I make sure every animal gets plenty of exercise, affection, playtime, and care while their family is away. I love creating a fun, safe, and comfortable environment for every animal I watch. I am great with any communication requests/requirements and I hope to help make this process easy and smooth :) As a General Manager in retail, I have a very flexible schedule and am able to create my own work hours. I can adjust my day as needed and take breaks when necessary, making it easy for me to return home for feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, and general care. My schedule typically ranges between the hours of 9am to 9:30pm, but I have the flexibility to structure those hours around the needs of my pet. I worked in child care for a couple years and I am the oldest four siblings. I also grew up with our family dog named Pookah. While I understand that caring for humans and dogs are different, I have experience caring for others with the upmost respect, care, kindness, and patience. I love taking walks and getting outside. Overall, I strive to create a very warm and fun environment for any pet I care for.

About: I am a Certified Veterinary Technician with many years of experience in the veterinary field and a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, giving me a strong background in animal care and behavior. I have raised and cared for dogs for over 20 years and love playing, walking, pottying, and spending quality time with them. I am also trained to help animals in emergency situations. My dog, Pico de Gallo, is the love of my life, and I would treat your dog/cat/animal with the same care, patience, and love as if they were my own. I work for myself, so any animal that needs care would be worked into my schedule. I can do stop-ins, walks, play time, anything that is needed for your pets to be taken care of. As my calendar fills up, I ensure the times requested for pets come first before overloading my schedule. I would take care of pets in my clients' homes. I would do potty breaks and ensure the house was not used. I would take the dogs for walks and play with them to burn off some energy before bringing them back home, if the owner allowed it. I would also feed and make sure they drank water before I left, updating the owner on how they are doing. Otherwise, I would utilize the spaces given to me ( a fenced yard, etc.). For cats, I would check in on them and make sure they are fed and watered. i would play with them with their toys and then update their owner on how they are doing.

I’ll care for your pet in the comfort of their own home by following their normal routine and giving them the love and attention they deserve. About: I am mostly experienced with cats, but I have been around dogs for years in care or for fun, just never having direct ownership of a dog. Willing to try it out! I am more than happy to watch over a pet overnight or during the day, including pet care, watering and feedings. I am also capable of walks. In my own personal care, I have raised or adopted several cats including doctors appointments, cleaning, etc. Of other clients pets I have taken care of more or less the same, all satisfied in their pets care.

I have one well-behaved dog at home, but most of the care I provide will be in your home so your pets can stay in their familiar environment. I always follow your instructions for feeding, routines, and house rules, and I take the time to make sure each pet feels safe and relaxed. I treat every home with respect and every pet like family.

About: I have broad experience with all pets and am not afraid of messes and challenges. I’d love to care for your pets and help set your mind at ease about being away. I’m a Nurse and work Monday through Friday from 7:30-4:00pm. More than happy to be to your home before work and after work as needed! I would be available to host your pet over the weekend only at this time, but I can stay at your home at any time!

About: I have been cat sitting and dog walking for the past two years for coworkers and family friends- and now I’m on Rover too! I’ve got two golden retrievers of my own who I love dearly as well! I am a student at the University of Vermont studying political science and english! During the summers I come home to Anchorage, Alaska. I love all things outdoors- hiking, running, you name it. I have also been working part time at Middle Way Cafe (in Anchorage) for almost 3 years. Because I have grown up with animals, I feel confident in my ability to care for them. I also volunteer at our local animal shelters and am passionate about finding animals good homes! I value communication and will update you on your pets mood, send pictures, etc. I have a lot of experience with anxious dogs, so rest assured your pets are in good hands even if they tend to be nervous when you leave.

About: I've volunteered at the humane society taking care of cats. I have helped neighbors and family with walking and feeding thir dogs. I enjoy spending time around animals. I can help out everyday after 7:30pm, excluding weekends. I have a 9 am to 7:30pm everyday. The routine is to feed and walk and play. In the client's home I will care for the pet indoor or outdoor depending on the service. House setting would be in the home and dog walking outside the home with bear spray for protection.

About: Sharika has been a Rover and Wag walker for 5 years. She has been taking care of dogs and cats her whole life and has been trusted by countless friends and family to look after their pets. She has always found it to be an incredibly enriching experience to be trusted with the care of someone else's pet. She is so grateful for any opportunity to spend quality time with animals! Sharika has recently finished a fellowship with the National Park Service and has lots of free time during the day and night any day of the week to care for your pet. She is based in Anchorage and willing to stay overnight anywhere around town. Sharika is great at making dogs and cats feel safe and welcome. She can easily read what your animals need, so know that your fur baby will be safe and content with Sharika :)
