About: My husband and I lost our great Pyrenees last year :( We miss him. We would like to watch another dog because our shihtzu is getting older and does not like to hike anymore. She does enjoy her walks tho. We like all types of dogs as long as they are well behaved and get along with cats and other dogs. Our home is 2,800 sq ft and we have a 10,000 sq ft yard. We can only host 1 dog so your dog will be well taken care. We prefer only one at a time since we also have a cat but may make an exception if from the same family . “This was the first time we had used rover so didn’t really know what to expect but Kaitlin and John were great from the start. We arranged a meet and greet and we could see our dog Frank was happy as soon as he got there so we booked once we got home. They were very accommodating when we asked to move the drop off time due to flight change, and provided pictures and updates each day. Frank enjoyed his time with their family and we would highly recommend.”

Ryan and Chelsea were great with both of them from the start. Ryan answered all of our questions and was very open. While we were away he kept us updated with how they were doing and sent us photos and videos often. That made it so much easier to enjoy our trip and not have to worry how they were doing. When we went to pick them up, our dogs were excited to see us, but made sure to get last pets from Ryan. We know they are in good hands with Ryan and Chelsea. About: Hi! I’m Susie. I’ve always been an animal lover and know how much our pets mean to us. For years I’ve cared for my friends’ dogs whenever they traveled, and after realizing how much I enjoy it, I decided to join Rover. At home, I have a dachshund named Nugget and a cat named Cosmo, so caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life. I live in a single-family home with my son, and we have a fully fenced backyard with a medium-sized doggy door, giving dogs plenty of room to safely play and explore. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home while they’re with us. I’ll follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible and send regular photo updates so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work from home 4 days a week so I am available often. Thursday I go into the office 9-5, so animal would need to handle some alone time (crated/house trained) I follow instructions left by owner and if I need any further instructions I would contact owner. I am pretty laid back and animal would have full access to home and backyard.
“Zec took great care of our two dogs! He’s very communicative, initiated a meet and greet before the stay to make sure our dogs got along, and sent consistent updates. His dog is a gentle giant and was so patient with our one dog (who has crazy cattle dog energy and doesn’t get along with every dog). They came home tired, happy, and healthy. He even shared some of his homemade salmon dog treats with my pups. Would recommend if you need a reliable sitter.”
