About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience caring for dogs who may be reactive or selective around other animals. I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust when your dog requires extra awareness and responsibility. Iâm attentive, proactive, and committed to keeping every dog in my care safe by avoiding risky situations and managing walks and interactions thoughtfully. I also grew up in a dog-loving household with four or more dogs at any given time. Our home was the go-to place for family and friends to leave their dogs while traveling or working, and at times we even cared for entire litters of puppies. Because of this, I have hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments, and Iâm comfortable providing dependable, attentive care tailored to each dogâs individual needs. I currently work from home on freelance engineering design projects, and my own home improvement projects. This means I have a heaps of availability to pay attention to your pet! I am an active individual that recently moved to Anchorage, I love walking with dogs to explore neighborhoods and get exercise. I also have a yard at my home, which is unfenced, and I look forward to romping around with leashed dogs. Regarding situations where dogs stay at my house, I currently have two young cats which any visiting dogs will have to be okay with. Because my house has two levels, I do have the ability to block the stairway and provide my cats with a sanctuary if the cats get tired of dog games.

âAllison was an amazing sitter for my 4 mo old puppy! I could tell HRALI was having a great time at her home, with lots of attention & playtime. I also was grateful that he got to interact with cats & other dogs. Allison was also easy to communicate with, sent lots of cute photos, and picked up & dropped off every day. She was punctual, but also very flexible. HRALI definitely loved spending time with Allison & her family. About: Im from Ketchikan AK but I live in Anchorage AK. I do have a fenced backyard where they can roam and play. I love playing with dogs and hanging out with the cats! Iâll always treat your buddy as if their my buddy! I'm currently in between jobs I mostly stay at home all day drawing or working on art. I mostly just do side gigs like this and I don't get that many so I have a lot of free time. If there's other dogs I let them play but if it's just use I usually always keep them around me and play with them if they have the energy and lay down and chill with them if there tired. I take em out for potty breaks/walks every 1-2 hours and feed them twice a day.
âJordanâs daycare is my dogâs favorite! 10/10. Jordan had a birthday party for my dog and the photos were so cute. Weâre so lucky to have her care in Anchorage ?â
About: Semi-retired licensed veterinary technician with 30 years of experience. Available for anything from basic walks, pet sitting, boarding in my home up to compassionate hospice care. I will happily and gladly work around pretty much any schedule. You just let me know what your requirements are and I can usually accommodate them. My home is ready to spoil any pet. I'm currently pet less at the moment. My last 4-legged baby was an English bulldog. He was a special needs kiddo, so I'm used having to give medications on a regular schedule.
âVery happy with Crystal! My dogs were well taken care of & I had piece of mind knowing they were in good hands. Very kind & patient helping me navigate your Rover app too! đđâ

About: I have taken care of animals and properties since I was 13. Including through highschool, college, marriage. I love all animals, all exercise, outdoors, and organizing. I love the change and experience of taking care of other properties while housesitting. I love exercise, play time and cuddles while petsitting. I love to stay busy. I do whatever is requested by owner. I feed, bathe, groom, walk, run, drive. Feel free to give me a list. I appreciate the business.
âMandy took amazing care of my dog Ophelia. I didn't even have to worry. At the end of the day, Ophi was happy and sleepy. Mandy was very responsive and sent awesome photos of Ophi. I WILL be rebooking with her, and I'm so grateful to have found her!â

About: Responsible, detail-oriented, and great with many types of personalities and needs. I love being active. I have a clean background with references on request. I've worked with: Large and small breeds. High energy dogs that need long walks and enrichment. Senior dogs that require gentle care and medication. Dogs with anxiety who need patience, routine, and reassurance. For example: Last Summer I cared for two dogs in the owner's home for two weeks. It was an in-home stay. They both have a special diet with precooked food that was given twice a day. Chopper is a Terrier mix and very high energy. He likes socializing and playing fetch. Pumpkin is an elderly Dachshund who likes cuddles and short walks. The next job I had was with two dogs, a cat, fish and shrimp tanks. This was also a live-in stay for three weeks. Kevin is a German Shepard mix who doesn't do well on a leash, but listens to commands great. He won't poop at home, so we went on a quick ride in the back of my truck to his favorite park every morning and evening. He loves the beach and is very good around other animals and people. Oliver is a small Dachshund who is scrappy with strangers, so needs to be put on a leash always. He needs help when getting onto high places like the couch, car or the bed. He likes the park, but gets tired quickly so we sit in a nice shady spot. Oscar the cat is very private. He loves to come inside in the morning to eat and have some cuddles. He lounges by the TV until it gets too hot and hides under the house until the evening, when he graces us with his presence again. The shrimp only need to be fed once a week and they even had babies while I was there! The fish pond was daily basic cleaning, and feeding. They were very beautiful. I absolutely LOVED all of them and the experiences we had together. The owners are very willing to give you their experience as well. Morning: Fresh food and water, a morning walk for dogs or calm playtime for cats, medication if needed, a quick home check (doors, windows, thermostat, plants) Midday: Walks, potty breaks, or litter box maintenance. Playtime, mental stimulation, or quiet companionship. Light home care like bringing in packages, rotating lights, or watering plants. Evening: Dinner and feeding routines, another walk or enrichment session, brushing, cuddles, or simply being nearby (for older or shy pets) Night (for overnight stays): If I'm staying overnight, your pets have company and protection all night long. I lock up, give final cuddles or a bedtime potty break, and maintain your home's nighttime routines so everyone can sleep peacefully. I follow your pet's routine exactly to keep them happy and stress-free while you're away. Your home will always be respected and kept secure. I'd love to meet you and your pets- send me a message anytime!
About: I grew up in a zoo of a home with a mom that made our pets her top priority. I have been dog sitting for over 10 years and know the ins and outs of how to keep an animal happy and healthy/safe. I own a small business in town and work around my pups schedule. We go on morning walks, lunch time hikes and even post work walks if needed. I am also capable to giving medication. I own a small business and make my own hours. I typically work Monday-Thursday and my dogs are only left for 3-4 hours at a time. Pets are always welcome to sleep in the bed with me or kenneled depending on what you prefer. I live walking distance from the Klatt dog park if youâre comfortable with me taking your pup there or we can do one on one walks around the neighborhood. Hikes are also offered in the summer time! Dogs are my life and always have been. Their well being, happiness and safety is my top priority! My back yard is fully secure, I drive a 2019 4 runner for safe transport and my home is always free of rope/unsafe toys, poisons, etc. I have personally trained my dogs for duck hunting and obedience and can offer Training assistance if needed(: Dogs are always safely exercised and I believe in positive reinforcement.
About: Your pup will be treated like family! I have always been an animal lover and have treated all animals with kindness and compassion. I grew up with dogs (and a variety of other pets) and understand the commitment involved in taking good care of your beloved pet. I love watching Cesar Milan and know that rules, boundaries and limitations are also a key part of making a dog feel at ease. That being said, I'm quite a softy so there are generally very few rules as far as the house goes! :) My yard is completely fenced with lots of room to play. They can sleep wherever they choose and will always get plenty of time outdoors ( if they would like). I love walking and will take your pup for as many walks as you would like. My job is very flexible so while dog sitting I will always be at home and with your dog for the entire duration. I know that calmness and kindness are key to reassuring your pup and allowing them to feel happy and comfortable. Boarding can be stressful for animals and parents and I assure you that I will do everything I can to make the experience a joyous and pleasant one. Looking forward to caring for your beloved pup! I have recently lost my 17 yr old chihuahua so looking to have some more dog love in my life right now. Sincerely, Jackie I have a very flexible job as a vending machine owner/operator so I have lots of time to give love and walks to your fur baby! I like to keep pups stimulated with a variety of activities involving exercise, games and love. I enjoy creating fun games for them to do around the house!
âHeather was awesome, she took the time to learn about our dog and his behaviour, and was able to work with a raucous start for a completely succesful booking. Highly recommend.â

Marquelle was so great with Luna! Treated her like her own and she was very understanding if/when plans went away for me. I so much appreciated her during my 3 week stay in Anchorage. I couldn't have done everything I wanted to do without a trusted sitter for my girl Luna! Thank you so much!
