I have experience working with all kinds of animals over the years, including small and exotic so I am able to drop-in on your little buddies, too! 🐶🐱🐍🐰🐢🦄🐹🐸🐭🐦🐀🐠🦎 With pets of my own, I know what it is like to hire someone to care for your best friend. While no one knows your pet(s) as well as you do, I seek to understand and gather information for our time together so that they feel as secure and comfortable as possible in your absence. I accomplish this by maintaining boundaries and their schedule to help them feel more secure, and maybe even compensating while you’re away with extra fun and one-on-one attention! 🤩🥰 I pride myself on NOT being a “get in, get out” sitter. 💕 I provide detailed updates based on their schedule and provided instructions so that you feel confident in my level of care, and have peace of mind. 🌸 Safety is my number one priority ✅ and I will ensure I have adequate information prior to your departure to achieve success when booking with me. I am flexible with scheduling 🗓️ to accommodate you and your pet(s) as much as I can! Additional skills include grooming, medication administration/management, and senior/vision impaired care.

My first visit will typically be lengthier, as I am establishing the care routine and verifying that everything is in place. I maintain a checklist 📝 with core tasks based on our discussions, meet and greet, and any additional communication during the booking. For each visit, I provide thorough updates to confirm that each core task was completed as required, and in the necessary order, if applicable. I provide extra photos 📷, and if needed, take extra time to be patient with nervous or anxious pets. 🥰 My timeline is their timeline. I ask for feedback the first couple of visits in case there are any adjustments. With you being the primary owner, you are the expert and I want to ensure the best care according to you! I can also perform additional tasks at your home such as watering plants 🪴, adjusting thermostats or lighting 💡, and taking mail/packages 📦 as needed. Prior to departing, I also ensure that your pets will be safe until I return. I’m honored to be able to become a trusted person with your pet and I take it very seriously! I am highly observant of animal body language and attuned to their needs, and it only improves with time. 💞

Storme had a great day with Alex. They went on a hike and plenty of comfortable places to nap during the day. Alex has a fenced in yard that provides a safe place for exercise. I highly recommend Alex to anyone needing Pet Care!

I am fortunate to work a flexible schedule so I am able to accommodate your lifestyle, but most importantly what’s best for your pets. 🥰

- For dogs, cats, or any exotics pets: health information, preferred vet name and number, favorite toy/game/activity, and usual schedule. This is Alaska, so if you will be out of service a local emergency contact is also vital. It would also be helpful to know of any reactivity triggers/fears, etc. For drop-ins, please let me know if you’d like me to check thermostat, plants, adjust blinds/lighting, etc. in addition to any other routine. 🏡
