About: I love dogs, I like to do what they want! We live in Anchorage so dogs close by are preferable. We would love to do dog walks or drop in visits. We get outside a lot and like to get off leash if it's a safe area and your dog won't take off. Otherwise retractable leashes are the way to go. We are responsible about picking up dog poop. We will show your dog a good time! We will customize our care for your dog, just let us know any details you need us to know. On walks we will keep them on a leash unless it’s a dog park or an off leash area and know that they will return to our command. Whatever schedule is required is fine. Must check the calendar before full schedule is decided. Just let us know what time the walk would need to be and it should be fine. We can do a dog walks as needed, and I may have my son‘s help out. We usually try to keep them on, always to be safe.

About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember and have been caring for them since I was a little kid. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and they are truly family to me. One of my most meaningful experiences was caring for my late dog, Roo, who battled cancer for about a year before we lost her in September. During that time, I gained experience providing medication, extra comfort, patience, and specialized care. I now have a 10-month-old puppy named Tilly and a 13-year-old dog named Leo who keep me active and remind me every day how important exercise, playtime, routine, and affection are. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own! Whether your pup loves to play, go on walks, or curl up on the couch for cuddles, they’ll receive plenty of attention and care while staying with me. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, happy, loved, and right at home while you’re away. I work from 10 AM to 4 PM Monday - Thursday. Friday-Sunday I am off! Before and after work, I make sure dogs get plenty of attention, exercise, and potty breaks! Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a secure fenced yard for supervised play and plenty of space for dogs to relax indoors. My own dog is friendly, playful, and accustomed to being around other dogs. About: My husband and I lost our great Pyrenees a few months ago. :( We have an older shihtzu and would like to watch another dog because our dog is getting older and does not like to hike anymore. She does enjoy her walks tho. We like all types of dogs as long as they are well behaved and get along with cats and other dogs. Our home is 2,800 sq ft and we have a 10,000 sq ft yard. We can only host 2 dogs max at a time so your dog will be well taken care. We prefer only one at a time tho since we also have a cat . I am currently working part time but work from home most of the time. My husband also works from home . We walk our dog 2 -3 times a day. We like to hike and during the summer and in winter we walk the trails that are right next to our home. I have a fenced yard , but can also crate your baby if you prefer. We have everything needed for a big or little dog.

About: i had 3 dogs in my life. 2 of the dogs i had. i had since i was born. then i adopted another dog in 2014. wanting to adopted more dogs in the future. i have dogsit before in the past 3 years before i knew about rover. i love and adore dogs. i cant imagine life without one. Dogs are everything to me. Having dogs around get me outside more and walking more. i have trained my 3 dogs. so i know a tiny bit about trainging them. I do live in an apartment in the 3rd floor on the top. If the dog needs it I can carry him/her up and down the stairs no issue at all. Make sure to take your time to read and make sure your 100% sure to want to book with me before you click book. i currently dont have a job. i would make dog sitting a part time job for right now. i have alot of time to care for a dog. i give the pet alot of play time. i give the pet bathroom breaks as much as needed. i walk the pet like an hour or 2. ill feed the pet when he or she needes it. of course ill him or her water. ill give the pet as much exercise as he or she needs. The dog must have a leash for me to watch them i would have the pet come over to my apartment. im around a place where i can take the dog on a long or short walk. the apartment im at is very pet friendly. I say you would have to bring your pet to me at my apartment.

When I was a kid, I always wanted a dog….but we owned everything except a dog due to our lack of a yard. To solve this, I would knock on my neighbors doors to walk and play with their dogs everyday. I make sure every animal gets plenty of exercise, affection, playtime, and care while their family is away. I love creating a fun, safe, and comfortable environment for every animal I watch. I am great with any communication requests/requirements and I hope to help make this process easy and smooth :) As a General Manager in retail, I have a very flexible schedule and am able to create my own work hours. I can adjust my day as needed and take breaks when necessary, making it easy for me to return home for feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, and general care. My schedule typically ranges between the hours of 9am to 9:30pm, but I have the flexibility to structure those hours around the needs of my pet. I worked in child care for a couple years and I am the oldest four siblings. I also grew up with our family dog named Pookah. While I understand that caring for humans and dogs are different, I have experience caring for others with the upmost respect, care, kindness, and patience. I love taking walks and getting outside. Overall, I strive to create a very warm and fun environment for any pet I care for.

About: I am a Certified Veterinary Technician with many years of experience in the veterinary field and a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, giving me a strong background in animal care and behavior. I have raised and cared for dogs for over 20 years and love playing, walking, pottying, and spending quality time with them. I am also trained to help animals in emergency situations. My dog, Pico de Gallo, is the love of my life, and I would treat your dog/cat/animal with the same care, patience, and love as if they were my own. I work for myself, so any animal that needs care would be worked into my schedule. I can do stop-ins, walks, play time, anything that is needed for your pets to be taken care of. As my calendar fills up, I ensure the times requested for pets come first before overloading my schedule. I would take care of pets in my clients' homes. I would do potty breaks and ensure the house was not used. I would take the dogs for walks and play with them to burn off some energy before bringing them back home, if the owner allowed it. I would also feed and make sure they drank water before I left, updating the owner on how they are doing. Otherwise, I would utilize the spaces given to me ( a fenced yard, etc.). For cats, I would check in on them and make sure they are fed and watered. i would play with them with their toys and then update their owner on how they are doing.
About: What sets me apart is how intuitive and adaptable I am with animals. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routines, and comfort level, especially shy, anxious, or senior pets. I’m patient, observant, and calm, which helps animals feel safe and settle in quickly. I’m comfortable caring for puppies who need structure and consistency, as well as older pets who may need a slower pace, extra gentleness, or medication support. I communicate clearly with owners and truly enjoy forming meaningful bonds with the animals I care for—not just watching them, but making sure they feel loved, secure, and understood. I only work part of the year, which gives me plenty of free time the rest of the year. Because I travel often, I don’t currently have pets of my own, but that also means I have lots of time, attention, and love to give. I’d be happy to share that with your furry family members. I’m very respectful of people’s homes and always tailor my care to match how you care for your pets. If your pet is allowed on the furniture or sleeps in bed with you, I’m happy to welcome a warm, furry snuggle buddy. If your pet is crate-trained at bedtime, I’m comfortable with that too. I’m flexible, friendly, and have many years of experience with animals of all kinds—dogs, cats, parrots, horses, ducks, chickens, you name it. About: Hello! My name is Elise! I’m from Alaska, I moved here in October. I grew up with many different animals. I’ve had many dogs, cats, as well as bunnies, horses and I’ve cared for birds. I love animals very much and I am very good at taking care of them. I’ve been pet sitting since I was about 14 but not really officially since I was 16. About: Would love to love on others pets as we unexpectedly lost our dog of 12 years and aren’t ready for another of our own yet I’m currently a stay home mom to a 3 year old daughter, we walk almost everyday and have more than enough time and love to give! We have a shared unfenced yard but walk around the neighborhood daily. We have an open space for playing around and lots of time to give!
