“This was our first time leaving our 2 dogs with other people, let alone strangers. We went to do a meet and greet beforehand and didn’t know quite what to expect. Ryan and Chelsea were great with both of them from the start. Ryan answered all of our questions and was very open. While we were away he kept us updated with how they were doing and sent us photos and videos often. That made it so much easier to enjoy our trip and not have to worry how they were doing. About: I love dogs, I like to do what they want! We live in Anchorage so dogs close by are preferable. We would love to do dog walks or drop in visits. We get outside a lot and like to get off leash if it's a safe area and your dog won't take off. Otherwise retractable leashes are the way to go. We are responsible about picking up dog poop. We will show your dog a good time! We will customize our care for your dog, just let us know any details you need us to know. On walks we will keep them on a leash unless it’s a dog park or an off leash area and know that they will return to our command. Whatever schedule is required is fine. Must check the calendar before full schedule is decided. Just let us know what time the walk would need to be and it should be fine. We can do a dog walks as needed, and I may have my son‘s help out. We usually try to keep them on, always to be safe.

About: My husband and I lost our great Pyrenees a few months ago. :( We have an older shihtzu and would like to watch another dog because our dog is getting older and does not like to hike anymore. She does enjoy her walks tho. We like all types of dogs as long as they are well behaved and get along with cats and other dogs. Our home is 2,800 sq ft and we have a 10,000 sq ft yard. We can only host 2 dogs max at a time so your dog will be well taken care. We prefer only one at a time tho since we also have a cat . I am currently working part time but work from home most of the time. My husband also works from home . We walk our dog 2 -3 times a day. We like to hike and during the summer and in winter we walk the trails that are right next to our home. I have a fenced yard , but can also crate your baby if you prefer. We have everything needed for a big or little dog.

About: i had 3 dogs in my life. 2 of the dogs i had. i had since i was born. then i adopted another dog in 2014. wanting to adopted more dogs in the future. i have dogsit before in the past 3 years before i knew about rover. i love and adore dogs. i cant imagine life without one. Dogs are everything to me. Having dogs around get me outside more and walking more. i have trained my 3 dogs. so i know a tiny bit about trainging them. I do live in an apartment in the 3rd floor on the top. If the dog needs it I can carry him/her up and down the stairs no issue at all. The dog must have a leash for me to watch them i would have the pet come over to my apartment. im around a place where i can take the dog on a long or short walk. the apartment im at is very pet friendly. About: Hi! Both my husband and I have grown up in Alaska helping care for small chihuahuas all the way up to wolf-hybrids. We are a fun and loving couple with 2 small doodles of our own, 3 stories of house to play in, a small backyard/potty area, and located right next to a doggy park. About: During my childhood I often spent time with my grandmother and her pack of boxers. Now I have a Boston Terrier named Jack. I can handle a pack of up to 8 on my own I do currently have a job so I can be a bit busy sometimes. I live with quite a few people, we all help out with caring for the dogs in our care. About: I have been taking care of animals my entire life. I know how it is to go & leave your fur babies. I will give them the best as if they were my own. I have taken care of & raised dogs, cats, rabbits, ducks, horses, goats, hamsters, lizards, fish, frogs, birds & many more. My family also loves all kinds of animals. This is a safe environment & they get what they need. I am currently working part time so I have a lot of availability. I love getting outdoors & enjoying the Alaskan summer to its fullest. I have a 13 yaar old & 18 I have a fenced yard & a split level house if needed. I can watch them at my home or yours. I go on walks, drives, hikes & whatever is needed. About: I’ve had pups my whole life and have always been trusted to take care of them. I also work at Ahappydogdaycamp on the weekends! I do have experience with giving meds and pups who have problems with seizures. I am quite good in stressful situations if anything ever comes up! I am available Monday thru thrusday with no jobs or other things going on during the week. Plenty of time for activities and hanging out. I am available weekends!! In our home we allow dogs on couches,beds, and do have dog beds if needed.we have a fenced in yard with two other pups they could play with. There are other people in the house but there are all gone until about 4-6 pm but all the other time it would just be me. I can take them outside whenever need.
About: I attended veterinary science at kcc for two years and continued on after that interning at clinics. CPR certified for pups & avid dog lady. Will love and care for your pups like they're my own. I am also well versed in dog allergic reactions and common diseases/infections & will alert you accordingly. I started my own dog walking/poop scooping business at 12 that I ran until I was 16 with over 10 returning clients! Caring for dogs has always felt like it’s what I’m supposed to do(: I work from home so I spend my days with my pup alternating between walks, car rides and work! I also have 2 cats who (as most cat lovers know) usually keep to themselves though I have seen them become affectionate with some dogs with calmer temperaments! My life revolves around these little critters and if you entrust me with your furry friend they will quickly become part of the pack and my life will revolve around them too while I have them! My home is a two story two bedroom home with a fenced yard and is fully doggie proofed/puppy proofed. I am a dog lady so I do allow dogs on my furniture and bed(unless I'm told otherwise by owners). I live about 5 minutes walking distance from a fenced dog park which I visit regularly and I take drives to Klatt field fenced in dog park regularly. I run a fairly lenient but still well kemp ship here, we all sit on the couch and hangout together and they’re all allowed on the bed at bedtime with me (unless I’m told otherwise). If a crate is needed I do have one kennel fit for an up to 80lbs dog that I keep in my downstairs room! If you’re inquiring about house sitting then consider me there! My husband and I both take care of our animals so if I am at your house, my animals won’t be an issue(:

I will definitely use them again. Their HOA only allows 2 dogs, so your dog will be the only one staying there with them and their dog. It is difficult to leave a beloved dog with a stranger so we arranged a pre-travel meet & greet to ensure our pet’s need would be met—frequent walks, love, and attention. She brought her dogs and they made one big happy pack. Just before we left, our dog developed a limp. Emily was extra cautious with him and he was all better when we returned 5 days later.
