“I can’t give Erica enough stars, she is absolutely amazing. During my recent trip, Erica stayed at my place and took care of my pet for ~ 2 weeks. She was quick to gain the trust of my anti-social cat, she communicated with me nearly daily, and my cat was happy and well cared for while I was gone. Erica also was an excellent house guest and left the place in great/tidy condition (probably better than I had left it). Thanks again Erica for taking such great care of Toed!”

“Jessie helped provide good care for our older dog while we were out of town, and helped with walks/medications as needed. Very grateful for her care and easy/quick communication.”

“Nancy did a great job watching our house and our sweet Lottie. We were totally comfortable being gone for almost 2 weeks with Nancy taking care of everything. We will be using her again when we travel.”

“Sorona has such a caring heart. She not only takes amazing care of our dogs, but the peace of mind she provides us is so welcome. She goes above and beyond what we expect. She provides photos and videos and updates. So grateful for her!”

“Nick has watched our pets and home twice and we couldn’t be happier. He really saved our bacon this trip when I put in the wrong dates. He was kind and professional about my mistake. Would definitely ask him to watch out pets again.”

“Came back to happy pets, a clean house and live plants. Julie communicated well. My pup ripped a few claw while I was gone and Julie managed that too. Thanks!”

“Sarah was an amazing house sitter. She was great with both of my cats and empathetic to their individual needs. The house was spotless and both cats loved her.”

“Bridget was great with our little old man dog Shaq. She won him over quickly and kept him safe the whole time we were away. Cute picture updates & notes on how he was adapting. It was great. She showed excellent judgement when the power went out on our block & took our little dog home with her overnight. Really appreciated the care and commitment to keeping our boy safe. You are the best, Bridget! Thank you.”

“Nella and her daughter Jay were great! We got frequent updates about all our critters and they were especially patient with our senior dog who is grumpy. We would use them again for sure!”

“Ahnalisa is so sweet, professional and reliable! She kept me updated the whole time with tons of cute pictures and updates. My pets were clearly happy and comfortable, and I really appreciated how easy she was to communicate with and how much she cares about animals. It is priceless to find someone you can trust with your fur-babies and home — I’d 100% book again! 💕”

“After meeting Zach we knew that he was the one who we wanted to watch our home. You could really tell he takes what he does seriously. It was so amazing to leave town and know that our home and pets were being taken care of.”

“Benita took great care of our dogs and house. She managed to still walk and play with them in the icy and cold weather. She probably threw the ball at least 2,000 times for our crazy younger pup. Her communication and updates were very frequent. Our dogs were really sad to see her go. We would definitely book again!”

“I had a long trip out of state over the holidays planned, and I was worried about leaving my fur babies for so long. But I was really grateful to have had someone there with the animals who was clearly so caring and attentive. Her communication was great, very friendly, and the animals clearly loved her! Got regular pictures so I knew they were in good shape and happy. Thank you thank you thank you!”

About: Growing up with a dog, a daily dog walk has been a part of my routine as long as I can remember. Since moving to Alaska 7 years ago, I got my best adventure buddy, Bird (a golden retriever) who has helped me explore Alaska from Sitka to Fairbanks to Anchorage. I have experience watching senior dogs that require medication, as well as active sled dogs that needed lots of exercise in the winter. My dog Bird has gotten used to every dog she's met once given time to adjust, and would love some dog friends in town. I also have a lot of experience housesitting, especially during Alaska winters when driveways need shoveled. I currently work a flexible fellowship that allows me to work from home Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. While I go to the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, my hours can be flexible to for pets that need more care. I am around during the weekends, usually I go for a hike so pets are welcome to join in the fun. Most my experience has revolved around going to clients home during pet sitting. I am open to taking dogs in my car to drive to hikes or parks around town.
“Alex was a great house and dog sitter to my doodles. She communicated well and sent update photos and videos of the dogs. She is the first dog sitter we hired through Rover and she made the experience worry free for us. My elderly dog took to her very well. Will re-book when we need dog sitting again!”

“Tynesha was great with Ziggy he took to her right away! She kept me in the loop with his needs throughout my trip and treated my home with respect. I would definitely book with Tynesha again!”

About: I love spending time with animals and have years of experience caring for cats, dogs, pets belonging to friends, family, and roommates. I’ve cared for animals ranging from babies to senior pets, and I’m attentive to their behavior and unique needs and routines with reliable communication throughout your time away. Most of my camera roll is already filled with pictures of beloved pets in my life, so you can expect plenty of updates and impromptu photo shoots of your fur baby! Pet care fits into my daily routine. I have a car and I’m self employed with some flexibility, and a large portion of my work is remote. My days are structured in a way that allows me to easily adapt to additions to my routine, including walks, check ins, or extended care. I’m fairly active and enjoy going on walks, but I also keep things low key at home, which works well for pets who appreciate both activity and downtime. I follow established routines as closely as possible, and am attentive to behavior to adjust my approach based on what the pet seems comfortable with while following the care plan. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of the space and keep things tidy. I make sure pets have what they need, maintain clean food and litter areas, and provide updates so you know how things are going.
About: Hello! My name is Kristina and I am looking to meet a couple cool clients to add to my Fur Fam Bam. I was born in San Antonio TX and moved to AK in 2003 when I was a child and haven’t looked back since! I am a Military brat and have moved a bunch growing up. I have grown up and lived with dogs and cats all my life and would like to say I’m seasoned when it comes to the fur children. I love all Reptiles, hamsters, cats dogs etc. See my photos for some gems of me and my animals (past & present) and some of the babies I’ve had the pleasure to meet and spend time with. I look forward to chatting and meeting you :) Lets connect! I currently work FT Monday - Friday, 8-4pm. I am able to stay in home for pet sitting as needed. Weekends I don’t typically have any restrictions and can take your babies (as allowed) with me to my house or on any adventures/errands. I prefer to stay in your home. I can kennel as needed and follow whatever safety and rules/set up you have. Just leave me a “to-do” list :)
About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats and have been caring for them since I was a teenager. While I don’t currently have pets of my own, I love giving other people’s pets the attention, care, and affection they deserve. I’m comfortable with all ages and temperaments—from high-energy puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra care. I’m patient, dependable, and treat every pet like family. I'm a tour guide a few days a week and have plenty of time to care for your pets, whether it be for walks during the day or overnight stays. My roommates have a new puppy so I can't do overnight stays at my house but I am available to stay in your home or do daily walks/ visits.
