I’ve been taking care of animals since I was old enough to take care of myself. As a child, we had cats in our family. As I grew older, I became the resident animal sitter for the neighborhood. I would walk, feed, and play with them for extra money. As an adult, I regularly watch my friends dogs and cats while they are out of town, staying in their homes, as to not disturb the routines of the beloved furry friends. I love their company.

Kara was so wonderful! She house sat our two dogs and one cat. As first time Rover users we didn’t know what to expect but Kara was communicative and easy to book with. After meeting her we knew our animals would be in good hands! She took great care of them, sent us picture updates along the way, and even cleaned before leaving! We would recommend her to anyone and will definitely use her in the future!
Kara is a great find! She is a great communicator and has a gentle spirit that our Lainey Girl absolutely loved! We felt comfortable in entrusting her with our baby and having her in our home! Will definitely hire her again!
Kara was a fantastic pet sitter for our two dogs over a long weekend. She arrived on time, was reliable throughout the stay, and made sure our dogs received the care and attention they needed. One of our dogs requires daily medication, which Kara administered without issue. She also made time for outdoor play, which helped keep both dogs happy and engaged. We returned to a clean home — she even washed the bedding and made the bed before leaving, which was greatly appreciated. Most importantly, our dogs were calm, content, and happy to see us, with no signs of stress or anxiety from our absence. We highly recommend Kara to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter. We would absolutely welcome her back to care for our dogs again.

Kara is AMAZING! She housesat, watched our big fur baby, and took care of a TON of houseplants for about 2.5 weeks. Came home to an immaculately clean house, happy pup, and thriving greenery! She really went above and beyond ❤️
Kara is heaven sent! I had anxiety about leaving the fur babies after a bad past experience that left the animals & us a little scarred. One of my dogs doesn’t take to other people or pets… within a few minutes of the meet & greet, she loved Kara, quite a while later when Kara came to pet sit, my dog remembered Kara & still loved her. She kept me updated throughout the trip. When I came back while the 3 babies were happy to see me, there was ZERO separation anxiety, you could tell they had been well loved. I highly recommend Kara & will definitely be booking her for all future trips if she’s available! Thank you Kara!
