About: Had 2 siamese back in the day and boy were they loud at times but faithful friends and beautiful animals. Rescued a stray in 2010 and come to find out she had hidden 5 kittens, they all ended up staying except one which went to a friend. We named them after the 4 seasons (including Fall and Autumn to give us 5 names). The mom we called Polly. Big fluffy mama cat. There’s only one left now but they all lived good long lives. My ex has the remaining one now.

About: i had 3 dogs in my life. 2 of the dogs i had. i had since i was born. then i adopted another dog in 2014. wanting to adopted more dogs in the future. i have dogsit before in the past 3 years before i knew about rover. i love and adore dogs. i cant imagine life without one. Dogs are everything to me. Having dogs around get me outside more and walking more. i have trained my 3 dogs. so i know a tiny bit about trainging them. I do live in an apartment in the 3rd floor on the top. If the dog needs it I can carry him/her up and down the stairs no issue at all. Make sure to take your time to read and make sure your 100% sure to want to book with me before you click book. i currently dont have a job. i would make dog sitting a part time job for right now. i have alot of time to care for a dog. i give the pet alot of play time. i give the pet bathroom breaks as much as needed. i walk the pet like an hour or 2. ill feed the pet when he or she needes it. of course ill him or her water. ill give the pet as much exercise as he or she needs. The dog must have a leash for me to watch them i would have the pet come over to my apartment. im around a place where i can take the dog on a long or short walk. the apartment im at is very pet friendly. I say you would have to bring your pet to me at my apartment.

About: During my childhood I often spent time with my grandmother and her pack of boxers. Now I have a Boston Terrier named Jack. I can handle a pack of up to 8 on my own I do currently have a job so I can be a bit busy sometimes. I live with quite a few people, we all help out with caring for the dogs in our care. I can usually feed the dogs in the morning and night. I can adhere to your dogs rules, whether you want them on furniture or not, whether you want them crated at certain times or not. I have not administered medicine before but I am willing to learn if need be.

About: Current medical student with so much motivation to get outside with my dog in between studying. When I was a kid, I always wanted a dog….but we owned everything except a dog due to our lack of a yard. To solve this, I would knock on my neighbors doors to walk and play with their dogs everyday. Now I can finally continue my love into adulthood. My rescue dog, Cowboy, would also love a furry friend. He was the dog the shelter used to socialize their dogs and I’m sure he misses it. About: My husband and I lost our great Pyrenees a few months ago. :( We have an older shihtzu and would like to watch another dog because our dog is getting older and does not like to hike anymore. She does enjoy her walks tho. We like all types of dogs as long as they are well behaved and get along with cats and other dogs. Our home is 2,800 sq ft and we have a 10,000 sq ft yard. We can only host 2 dogs max at a time so your dog will be well taken care. We prefer only one at a time tho since we also have a cat . I am currently working part time but work from home most of the time. My husband also works from home . We walk our dog 2 -3 times a day. We like to hike and during the summer and in winter we walk the trails that are right next to our home. I have a fenced yard , but can also crate your baby if you prefer. We have everything needed for a big or little dog.

About: Hi! Both my husband and I have grown up in Alaska helping care for small chihuahuas all the way up to wolf-hybrids. We are a fun and loving couple with 2 small doodles of our own, 3 stories of house to play in, a small backyard/potty area, and located right next to a doggy park. About: I’ve always had a love for animals since I was a little girl. I’ve also known that my future career path was going to be something to do with fur babies. I have taken 2 years of a veterinary medicine course in high school, which also gave me the opportunity to get a certification. I was also part of Veterinary Medicine CDE and we went to state and got runner up. This is sort of like a competition that tests you on the basics of veterinary medicine. I worked for Ashcroft Boarding facility and worked there for about a year before leaving for college. I have been pet sitting for 3 years now! At the moment I’m a student at CSU. I coach high school and club volleyball. I work at Facette medical spa and hair salon. My normal hours are 8:45am to 1 pm. My work schedule is very flexible. Something that I think is important is listening to the fur babies wants and wishes when it comes to overnight stays. My big thing is I will always check in with the parents before making any decisions. I want the parents to feel the most comfortable when they have me in their home.
About: Ive had dogs in my life for just about all of it. I figured why not walk dogs and make some side cash while I walk around. Taking care of pets and walking dogs is more of just a part time thing I'm doing to pass the time and get to hang out with animals. Before I moved to Anchorage my family had 4 dogs that I took care of on a daily basis. I always make sure the dog is secured to a lease before I bring them out. Currently on a part time seasonal schedule with more time going to be available in the winter. Figured this would be a great way to stay active and outside while going into the winter months I've have plenty of experience with dogs and their care growing up in northwest Alaska. I also volunteer at our local animal shelters and am passionate about finding animals good homes! Ryan and Chelsea were great with both of them from the start. Ryan answered all of our questions and was very open. While we were away he kept us updated with how they were doing and sent us photos and videos often. That made it so much easier to enjoy our trip and not have to worry how they were doing. About: Hello, Caitlyn T. and Harrison S. here! Much of our life revolves around our sweet Alaskan Husky, Crosby, and we'd love to add your pup to the pack while you're away. We both have extensive experience pet sitting - from horses to cats and dogs - and would love to help our community with the space and time we currently have available. About Us: I, Caitlyn, work from home so I can be with your pup all day! We have a dog door to a fenced in (sunny!) backyard, so when we're away, the pups still have access to the yard. We get in morning and afternoon leashed neighborhood sniff-walks, then do longer off-leash walks in the evenings. Harrison works at a bakery in town, but equally caretakes in the evenings and on Sundays and Mondays. As a pet parent myself, having two people involved in the care of my pet when I'm away is comforting, so we're happy to provide that to others! About Crosby: Crosby is a 13-year-old Alaskan Husky/Shephard mix who didn't make the cut for his dog sled team as a puppy, then spent his early years on a farm in Talkeenta before joining our family 9 years ago. He absolutely loves other dogs and reads them well. If they want to play, he'll play, if they want to be left alone, he'll leave them alone. He grew up around puppies, so he is also very good at setting and holding appropriate boundaries with dogs who are still learning. Overall, he has a very quiet, soft demeaner at home but is the most confident, bouncy dog at the park. He still has a lot of energy and in his older years, we just want him to have as much dog-companionship as possible. Your Dog: A good fit for our home would be a dog that is friendly with other dogs, is not food/toy aggressive, can be independent in the house for 1-3 hours at a time, and would not dig under or jump the 4' fence or dig in our gardens. About: Would love to love on others pets as we unexpectedly lost our dog of 12 years and aren’t ready for another of our own yet I’m currently a stay home mom to a 3 year old daughter, we walk almost everyday and have more than enough time and love to give! We have a shared unfenced yard but walk around the neighborhood daily. We have an open space for playing around and lots of time to give!

“Zoe & I did a meet & greet with Stacey & her dog before booking & Zoe seemed ok with her. She has a yard for the dogs to run around in. Stacey is very personable! Stacey was great about sending updates & pictures. She included Zoe in any outdoor activity she & her dog went on. Zoe is nervous with new people, but Stacey said Zoe warmed up to her & her dog quickly. Stacey let me know that I may not have packed Zoe enough food (mom fail) & asked what brand I fed her vs. just feeding Zoe what her dog ate, which I greatly appreciated (Zoe did have just enough, lol). She gave me thorough rundown when I picked Zoe up. I highly recommend Stacey & Zoe will be definitely staying with her again.”
