Pet care experience

our dog wants your dog here!

Hello, Caitlyn T. and Harrison S. here! Much of our life revolves around our sweet Alaskan Husky, Crosby, and we'd love to add your pup to the pack while you're away. We both have extensive experience pet sitting - from horses to cats and dogs - and would love to help our community with the space and time we currently have available. About Us: I, Caitlyn, work from home so I can be with your pup all day! We have a dog door to a fenced in (sunny!) backyard, so when we're away, the pups still have access to the yard. We get in morning and afternoon leashed neighborhood sniff-walks, then do longer off-leash walks in the evenings. Harrison works at a bakery in town, but equally caretakes in the evenings and on Sundays and Mondays. As a pet parent myself, having two people involved in the care of my pet when I'm away is comforting, so we're happy to provide that to others! About Crosby: Crosby is a 13-year-old Alaskan Husky/Shephard mix who didn't make the cut for his dog sled team as a puppy, then spent his early years on a farm in Talkeenta before joining our family 9 years ago. He absolutely loves other dogs and reads them well. If they want to play, he'll play, if they want to be left alone, he'll leave them alone. He grew up around puppies, so he is also very good at setting and holding appropriate boundaries with dogs who are still learning. Overall, he has a very quiet, soft demeaner at home but is the most confident, bouncy dog at the park. He still has a lot of energy and in his older years, we just want him to have as much dog-companionship as possible. Your Dog: A good fit for our home would be a dog that is friendly with other dogs, is not food/toy aggressive, can be independent in the house for 1-3 hours at a time, and would not dig under or jump the 4' fence or dig in our gardens. We look forward to chatting more and meeting your pup! 😊

We’re very pleased with Tilly’s stay with Caitlyn and Harrison and Crosby. We’ll check here first for availability the next time we need a sitter.

Caitlyn is a great dog walker. She takes our pup to the park to play with her dog Crosby. He is a friendly and energetic playmate for our dog. We highly recommend Caitlyn.

We're so happy to have met Caitlyn! Its such a great match for our boy Gunner as he's also able socialize with her pup crosby. They've all become great pals. Caitlyn is a wonderful dog owner herself - we love when Gunner's in her care. Highly recommend Caitlyn to care for your pet!

My dog Gunner now became so excited and ran to the door today when I told him that he gets to hang out with Caitlyn and Crosby.

I have used quite a few dog walking services for my best friend Gunner, and he has never come back from a walk happier than he does when it's with Caitlyn and Crosby. I know that I can trust her with my dog because of how much of a tired and happy he is after seeing his two new friends!
