This summer, I am working at a summer camp from about 7:30am to 4:00pm, but my husband works Rover jobs along with me and is usually home during these hours, so we are able to give your pets a lot of attention.

We can provide potty breaks in our fenced yard when boarding, walks along the trails (we love long walks), and lots of play time. We will feed according to your schedule and provide fresh water frequently. I am not a professional bather/groomer, but I am happy to help with basics. I do not mind pets on my furniture or in my bed, but please let me know if you prefer to not get your pets in this habit. ☺️

It is important for me to know about any allergies, medications, illnesses, and dietary restrictions for the animals. Please let me know if you do not want your pets to go on the furniture (because I don’t mind, but I don’t want to get your pets into habits you don’t appreciate ☺️). I do not have any breed restrictions.

We will play, run around the yard, go for long walks, and relax. My favorite walks are along the coastal trail and by Lake Hood. We enjoy the dog parks as well. I also love having a furry companion to binge Netflix with, and I love cuddles!

My name is Suzanne, and I often do sits with my husband, Ben. I am a special education preschool teacher, but I have recently taken time off to work as a contractor in Antarctica over the winters. I have had pets all my life, from dogs to rabbits to hedgehogs. I have cared for a variety of breeds and species and I love all animals. ❤️🐶🐱🐹🐰🐭🐷🐢🐠🦜🦔 I was born and raised in Alaska and I love walking the beautiful trails, especially with a furry friend! My husband is usually with me for petsitting, to limit the time your pet spends alone and to provide extra love. Besides owning pets all my life, I have over ten years of professional experience house/pet sitting. When in Alaska, I can house sit anywhere from Girdwood to Meadow Lakes. During certain times of the year, I can also board pets in my home. I have a fully fenced yard and plenty of space. Check my calendar for availability. ☺️

Suzanne and her husband took my friend and I’s pups after we scheduled a last minute trip. They were extremely accommodating and communicative! They sent us pictures during the weekend and the pups were well taken care of! Would definitely recommend!

Suzanne took wonderful care of my dog while staying at our home for a week. She sent photos nearly every day, which gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. I was especially impressed with how well she handled all of our pups quirks. It was clear that she was attentive, patient, and genuinely cared about his well-being. Knowing Suzanne was there made it so much easier to relax and enjoy our trip. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dependable pet sitter.
