I’ve been caring for pets through Rover for over eight months, providing walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting, and I’m now offering boarding too! I also have a bunny of my own, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. My goal is to give your pet attentive, loving care and give you peace of mind while you’re away. I work part time and can often accommodate different schedules with advance notice. Before booking, we’ll discuss your pet’s routine, the care they need, and how my availability fits their usual schedule. I want your pet to feel comfortable and secure in my care. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, and daily routines, and take time to learn their preferences and boundaries. Before a stay, we’ll discuss any special needs, behavior concerns, and your pet’s comfort with being left alone. I’m happy to arrange a meet-and-greet so we can make sure it’s a good fit. You can expect photo updates and communication about how your pet is doing.

About: I've had dogs since I was a child and can't imagine a home without one. Over the years, I've had experience caring for high-energy breeds, senior dogs, dogs recovering from injuries, and dogs who require medication. I enjoy getting to know each dog's individual personality, routine, and quirks and helping them feel comfortable while they're away from home. When your dog stays with me, I want them to feel like part of the family. I understand that every dog is different, so I'm happy to follow their normal feeding, exercise, medication, and bedtime routines as closely as possible. Whether your dog loves walks and playtime or would rather relax and get some extra attention, I'm happy to meet them where they are. I'm retired military and have base access. I understand firsthand that military life can mean deployments, TDYs, long workdays, and unexpected changes to your schedule. Having someone dependable to care for your dog can make those transitions a little easier, and I'd love to provide your dog with a comfortable place to stay while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your dog! I work at a local school during the week, but I am able to come home during the day for a midday potty break. Before and after work, I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention. On weekends and school breaks, I'm home more throughout the day. I will do my best to accommodate your dog's normal routine and schedule while they're staying with me. I know consistency can help dogs feel more comfortable when they're away from home, so please let me know what they're used to! At this time, I am not accepting recurring bookings. My home has a fully fenced yard with plenty of space for supervised outdoor time, and we're close to trails for walks and exploring. My dog is well-socialized and used to having other dogs around. I also have the ability to separate living spaces when needed, so dogs can have their own space to relax, eat, or simply take a break from each other. Your dog's safety and comfort are very important to me. Boarding clients are required to provide proof of current vaccinations and dogs must be kennel trained. Kennels provide each dog with a safe, familiar space and allow me to safely separate dogs when needed. To help keep all of the dogs in my care healthy, please let me know if your dog has been sick or has had any recent symptoms before their stay. Dogs showing signs of illness at drop-off will not be able to stay.

“Isabella was amazing with our 10 month old husky mix, Nali!!! She was super communicative, flexible, and such a dog lover. We had an early morning all-day fishing charter in Homer, so we dropped Nali off at Isabella’s the night before and picked her up about 24 hours later. Isabella told us that Nali and her dog played well together which makes us so happy to hear :) (in fact, they played so well together that Isabella even gave Nali a bath!! Thank you)! We are very thankful to have had such a positive experience with Isabella - as soon as we dropped Nali off we knew she was in excellent hands. About: Growing up on a farm instilled a love of animals in me from a young age. I am a true animal lover and prefer the company of animals to many humans ; ) I have experience with most pets from dogs and cats to birds, livestock and horses. I have rescued countless strays, trained many puppies and kittens and the running joke in the family is “if there’s a stray in a five mile radius they end up at Carly’s door”. I work from home so I’m never far whether your pet loves to sit nearby and remain close to me throughout the day or just needs a quiet and restful space, I have them covered. I provide dog beds and cat beds and do my utmost to make your furry friend feel settled in their home away from home. I will soon have a fenced in yard for my cat-friendly dog and four bedrooms for cats if they need a peaceful retreat. I provide fresh, filtered water daily along with meals and of course routine walks/potty breaks/litter box cleaning. If toys are allowed we have plenty to go around!
