About: I’ve worked at 1 different doggy daycares/1 rescue group for over 8 years. I’m always around dogs, of different sizes, temperaments, I’m great with all dogs, even dogs that don’t like other animals. etc..I will still walk them or dog sit them at their houses (I can’t board them at my house if they can be aggressive because I have other dogs). I love dogs so spending time with them is amazing. Im free all weekend to do anything for or with your pets. On the weekdays I get off work at 2pm so anytime after that I’d love to work! I have a fully fenced yard, 2 dog friends for your pet to play and cuddle with. I also have crates if needed for your dog.

About: Our dog passed away and I miss her very much. Recently relocated to Alaska and loving it! Have extra time on my hands to care for your furry bundle. I’ll take care of her/him/them like my own. Sorry I can’t commit to a reoccurring schedule at this time. Currently between jobs (indefinitely!) so I have plenty of time until then to give your loved ones attention. I love being outdoors so plenty of fresh air is not an issue or playing inside and curling up on sofa with your fluff ball is cool too. No problem if your pet prefers their own space, I am open to all types of personalities. Happy to care for pets in your home according to your normal routine. I am currently renting so care in my home is not an option. Thanks for understanding.

About: Hi, I’m Sarah and I’m a lifelong Alaskan. I have a small dog of my own that will welcome your best friend as one of the pack! I grew up with pets, I’ve attended dog behavioral training and first aid courses, and there’s never been a time in my life when I didn’t have a dog. I have a fenced property with a big yard in a convenient midtown location. We’d love to have your dog stay with us! I am now home and dog sitting full-time every day. I can accommodate almost any schedule necessary and can work with your needs for drop off and pick up. I have a fenced property with a large yard for your dog to enjoy. Typically I don’t use crates unless requested by the owner and your pet is welcome to make themself at home. I also love taking photos so you can expect lots of pics of your pup while they’re staying with us.

About: I dog sit my friends and family. Now with the summer I have more time on my hands and would like to try out this app. I’ve had dogs, kittens, birds. I’m just an animal friendly lady. One of my old dogs had 3 puppies and she was an amazing mama. One of her puppies was born blind and boy was that an experience. He heavily depended on my voice to show when to step up and down on to curbs on the street. I’ve also got experience with dogs who know sign language as I am fluent in ASL. I’m fine with tiny animals all the way up to the big friendly giants. I have taken care of dogs that growl when excited and what they really want is for you to get on their level. Some dogs just feel safer if you greet them while crouched down with them. It all depends on their temperament. You can trust me with your fur baby and I’ll make sure they have the best walkies! I am available Friday through Monday. I’m available any time during those days. I usually walk around Westchester Lagoon, Fish Creek, or Earthquake park (to name a few places), but I’m willing to take a drive to walk elsewhere. I have a fenced yard and live in a quiet neighborhood. The service I offer is dog walking. If you’d like your dog to stay closer to home or if you prefer a more enriching experience for your dog I can go longer distances. I walk at a fast pace but am willing to slow down according to your fur babies needs.

About: I have been cat sitting and dog walking for the past two years for coworkers and family friends- and now I’m on Rover too! I’ve got two golden retrievers of my own who I love dearly as well! I am a student at the University of Vermont studying political science and english! During the summers I come home to Anchorage, Alaska. I love all things outdoors- hiking, running, you name it. I have also been working part time at Middle Way Cafe (in Anchorage) for almost 3 years. Because I have grown up with animals, I feel confident in my ability to care for them. About: Roughly two years ago, I received a call from a colleague asking to house sit for a weekend after a previous bad experience with boarding two dogs. Both with health issues and one of them not sociable with other dogs. My colleague came back to a clean home, garden watered, mail organized and the dogs very well loved and walked everyday. Ever since, I have housesat for anywhere from 48hrs to nearly 30 days at a time with zero issues. Bed time rituals, feeding songs, walking a slightly reactive dog, cuddling very closely at night were the priorities at the top of the to-do list. Now that two years have passed since that first call I have decided to try my hand at truly making dog walking/house sitting/drop-in playdates a side gig! I work 12hrs a day, rotating weeks 3 days or 4 days a week. Typically Wednesday/Thursday-Saturday off every week. I am up early most mornings in my time off, can make myself available for late nights Wednesday-Friday as well. In your home, I will follow all requests diligently, check all doors and windows before leaving or before bed. I am MANDT de-escalation trained, CPR/BLS certified and will soon be training to further my EMS-adjacent skillsets. In emergencies, I understand the importance of prioritizing the fur babies and keeping them out of harm’s way.

About: I got a golden doodle when I was very young. Ever since then I’ve had a huge love for dogs and all animals. I’ve grown up with one, we got a second one shortly after. We basically had a mini farm at home, including ducks and bunnies. Once I moved out of my parents house I got a cat and a border collie/Australian Shepherd mix. I’ve been around animals all of my life. And I couldn’t imagine life without them. I work a full-time job Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with an hour lunch. I work Fridays from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. I usually go home for lunch to make sure all pets are cared for. After work, I usually stay home for the rest of the night. I live in an apartment on the second floor with a balcony. It is a very safe environment. And cozy place. It is in a closed balcony, so there is no risks of animals falling off. I have two different windows that are big and both open for fresh air.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ve spent years caring for pets for friends and family. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I make sure every animal gets plenty of exercise, affection, playtime, and care while their family is away. I love creating a fun, safe, and comfortable environment for every animal I watch. About: Hello Rover! I have spent my entire life around dogs of all breeds and have experience taking care of a wide variety of personality types! I have a 10 year old Australian Shepherd named Oliver so I am very familiar with high maintenance/active dog breeds. I'm currently taking a month long break from work before starting a new job. What better way to make some extra money in the down time than taking care of dogs? I am located close to several wooded trails as well as Kincaid park, where I frequent with my own Australian Shepherd Oliver. With such an active breed, we are out and about multiple times each day.

About: I’ve always had a love for animals since I was a little girl. I’ve also known that my future career path was going to be something to do with fur babies. I have taken 2 years of a veterinary medicine course in high school, which also gave me the opportunity to get a certification. I was also part of Veterinary Medicine CDE and we went to state and got runner up. This is sort of like a competition that tests you on the basics of veterinary medicine. I worked for Ashcroft Boarding facility and worked there for about a year before leaving for college. I have been pet sitting for 3 years now! At the moment I’m a student at CSU. I coach high school and club volleyball. I work at Facette medical spa and hair salon. My normal hours are 8:45am to 1 pm. My work schedule is very flexible. Something that I think is important is listening to the fur babies wants and wishes when it comes to overnight stays. My big thing is I will always check in with the parents before making any decisions. I want the parents to feel the most comfortable when they have me in their home.

About: I grew up on a farm in Rupert, Idaho running around with cows, chickens, horses, and dogs. I love working on the farm with my Dad and taking care of all of the animals. Being a caretaker is a large part of who I am. As I have also worked in nursing homes and rehabilitation centers. Being a caregiver is not about you. It is about who you take care of. Each individual is different and should be treated that way. I currently live in a spacious apartment that has a fenced in dog park where they can play and make friends.
