About: Roughly two years ago, I received a call from a colleague asking to house sit for a weekend after a previous bad experience with boarding two dogs. Both with health issues and one of them not sociable with other dogs. My colleague came back to a clean home, garden watered, mail organized and the dogs very well loved and walked everyday. Ever since, I have housesat for anywhere from 48hrs to nearly 30 days at a time with zero issues. Bed time rituals, feeding songs, walking a slightly reactive dog, cuddling very closely at night were the priorities at the top of the to-do list. Now that two years have passed since that first call I have decided to try my hand at truly making dog walking/house sitting/drop-in playdates a side gig! I work 12hrs a day, rotating weeks 3 days or 4 days a week. Typically Wednesday/Thursday-Saturday off every week. I am up early most mornings in my time off, can make myself available for late nights Wednesday-Friday as well. In your home, I will follow all requests diligently, check all doors and windows before leaving or before bed. I am MANDT de-escalation trained, CPR/BLS certified and will soon be training to further my EMS-adjacent skillsets. In emergencies, I understand the importance of prioritizing the fur babies and keeping them out of harm’s way.

About: Hi- I have lots of experience with dogs, cats, birds, Guinea pigs, reptiles and even chickens! I love to get outside year 'round with my Aussiedoodle and Village special !We hike, run and explore in almost any weather. I am experienced with small companion birds (conures, budgies, etc) and had chickens for several years. I've been caring for animals all my life and I know how hard it can be to leave them in someone else's care. I would love to help alleviate some of the worry. I will care for your pets as though they were my own. I can take a slow stroll with your older dog or hit the trails with your high energy pup. I can also just hang out and be with them when you are away. My schedule is flexible and i am available to come by during the week, weekends, etc to care for your pets. Let me know what you need and we can get it set up! I cannot bring dogs into my home, due to my own little zoo. About: I have loved most animals for as long as I can remember. I am very compassionate towards animals and feel love and concern when I see a lost or unloved animal. I have pet and house sat for two families who came back to me multiple times. I am always willing to adjust my usual routine to make the owners and their furry family members comfortable. I sat for a friend once who requested that I keep their large, fluffy husky mix in my car whenever I left the house. My priority will always be keeping your furbabies happy, healthy, safe, and comfortable. Last, but certainly not least, I have two dogs of my own who I treat as if they were my own children. I am always thinking of how I would want other humans to treat them when I decide how to work with someone else's pets. During the summer, my pet care will be my highest priority. During the school year (mid August through late December and mid January through late May) I work as a teaching assistant and must prioritize that but I would endeavor to schedule all non-work related activities around the needs of the pet and their family. As I have two dogs of my own neither of which get along well with other dogs, I would not be able to care for another pet in my own home, but I am always willing to stay in another home if pets require constant supervision. I would always follow any instructions regarding pet care given me by the owners. If clear instructions are not given to me, I will ask questions and I will simply do my best to make the pet comfortable and not to change their routine more than absolutely necessary.

I cannot homesit at this time because I am living in an apartment, but I would love to come to your home and care for your dog(s), or take your dog(s) out for a walk.

About: Ready to get those paws moving! As an Anchorage local, I know how important it is for our dogs to get fresh air and exercise, regardless of the weather. I specialize in high-energy walks to help burn off those "zoomies" so you can come home to a calm, happy pup. I’m punctual, active, and dedicated to making sure your dog has a safe and fun adventure every time I grab the leash. I currently do not work so I am available 24 x 7 at this time. Plenty of time to offer love & care to your fur babies. I am also available to stay or visit your place if you feel more secure that way. I'm looking for a few ongoing visits as to not only build a relationship with the fur babies but as to make the stays as stress free as possible for both human & pet. I have a 1 bed flat. Plenty of dog parks and places to go for a walk. I do have a fenced in yard but the dog parks and outside is where we like to be as a family.

About: I love animals! I am able to walk far distances and care for specific needs. I have a cat of my own and can drive to your house. I am currently working as a barista downtown and own a car. I am able to drive to your location no matter the day and feed/ care for your animal. I am not able to house pets at my own house but feel absolutely fine going to your location. I am able to spend overnights there as well.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about 10! I had a dog walking service in the neighborhood when I was younger and have pet sat for neighbors for years. I am a PhD student at Stanford, but I am available to pet sit at most times (provided that it doesn’t interfere with my class schedule)!! I always make sure the animal trusts me first by letting them sniff my hand. I also make sure that it is a safe environment for them - free of any hazards.

I can provide care for puppies that will need the extra TLC of frequent potty breaks, play time and even work on some training & obedience skills. I can provide long walks, dog runs, adventure days, quick potty breaks and dedicated play sessions for your pet. For smaller pets (rabbits, guinea pigs etc) I am familiar with the special care that comes with their needs as I have small pets of my own. Dog walking: I do my best to stick to your pets routines. If your dog is on a more structured schedule/obedience, I will keep them on that schedule. I will keep pets crated if told to do so. Walks will always start with greeting/leashing, then we head out for fun! Upon arrival back to your home, pups will get a treat, fresh water, and some love before I leave. Pet photos will be sent to the client after our walk. For house boarding & Doggy Day Care: all pets including my own dog, will always be crated upon leaving the home for their own safety. I will only allow dogs to stay in my home upon meeting the dog first, and making sure they're dog friendly and okay with cats. I prefer to keep only one other dog in my home at a time but will make exceptions for the right dogs/fit. dogs are expected to be well behaved in my home and not have destructive or aggressive habits.
