We had an early morning all-day fishing charter in Homer, so we dropped Nali off at Isabella’s the night before and picked her up about 24 hours later. Isabella told us that Nali and her dog played well together which makes us so happy to hear :) (in fact, they played so well together that Isabella even gave Nali a bath!! Thank you)! We are very thankful to have had such a positive experience with Isabella - as soon as we dropped Nali off we knew she was in excellent hands. About: I've had dogs since I was a child and can't imagine a home without one. Over the years, I've had experience caring for high-energy breeds, senior dogs, dogs recovering from injuries, and dogs who require medication. I enjoy getting to know each dog's individual personality, routine, and quirks and helping them feel comfortable while they're away from home. When your dog stays with me, I want them to feel like part of the family. I understand that every dog is different, so I'm happy to follow their normal feeding, exercise, medication, and bedtime routines as closely as possible. Whether your dog loves walks and playtime or would rather relax and get some extra attention, I'm happy to meet them where they are. I'm retired military and have base access. I understand firsthand that military life can mean deployments, TDYs, long workdays, and unexpected changes to your schedule. Having someone dependable to care for your dog can make those transitions a little easier, and I'd love to provide your dog with a comfortable place to stay while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your dog! I work at a local school during the week, but I am able to come home during the day for a midday potty break. Before and after work, I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention. On weekends and school breaks, I'm home more throughout the day. I will do my best to accommodate your dog's normal routine and schedule while they're staying with me. I know consistency can help dogs feel more comfortable when they're away from home, so please let me know what they're used to! At this time, I am not accepting recurring bookings. My home has a fully fenced yard with plenty of space for supervised outdoor time, and we're close to trails for walks and exploring. My dog is well-socialized and used to having other dogs around. I also have the ability to separate living spaces when needed, so dogs can have their own space to relax, eat, or simply take a break from each other. Your dog's safety and comfort are very important to me. Boarding clients are required to provide proof of current vaccinations and dogs must be kennel trained. Kennels provide each dog with a safe, familiar space and allow me to safely separate dogs when needed. To help keep all of the dogs in my care healthy, please let me know if your dog has been sick or has had any recent symptoms before their stay. Dogs showing signs of illness at drop-off will not be able to stay.
