When I was around 12, I started taking care of my neighbor’s chocolate lab whenever they went camping. Ever since, I’ve known that caring for animals was a passion of mine. When I was old enough, I worked at an animal daycare for a year. Right now, I work 8:30–5:00 for a travel design company, though twice a week i work from home. But I can do walks during my lunch break, as well as check-ins, boarding requests, and feeding appointments. These days, I mostly help take care of my family and friends’ pets, and I’d be so happy to help care for yours too!

Sondrea took great care of our cat, Tito! Her home is truly a cat paradise and I know he loved being there. Tito was hesitant of his new surroundings and other cats at first, and Sondrea made sure to help him feel calm and comfortable while he adjusted. She sent pictures and video updates throughout the week and was easy to communicate with before and during Tito’s stay. We would definitely trust Sondrea to take care of Tito again in the future!

Schedule
As a travel designer, a portion of my work is remote, which gives me a flexible and predictable schedule. Most of my planning, emails, and itinerary work can be done from my laptop, so I’m able to be present with pets throughout the day while still meeting my work responsibilities.

I believe the most crucial aspect is the communication between the pet owner and the sitter. I am committed to meeting all expectations and going above and beyond to ensure the well-being of the pet.
A typical day
I live next to a dog park, and I love taking my pets there to give them a spacious area to run around. The best part is that they feel comfortable, especially since the park is usually empty. I also enjoy providing different stimulation activities for dogs and cats. For example, I freeze their food and put it in a puzzle or specific type of toy that activates their natural instincts.
