What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience caring for dogs who may be reactive or selective around other animals. I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust when your dog requires extra awareness and responsibility. I’m attentive, proactive, and committed to keeping every dog in my care safe by avoiding risky situations and managing walks and interactions thoughtfully. I also grew up in a dog-loving household with four or more dogs at any given time. Our home was the go-to place for family and friends to leave their dogs while traveling or working, and at times we even cared for entire litters of puppies. Because of this, I have hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments, and I’m comfortable providing dependable, attentive care tailored to each dog’s individual needs.

Cole was fantastic with Velvet, my 2-year-old rambunctious Norwegian Elkhound (who had truthfully run a few of my friends out of town). Cole sent me photos every day of a two week long vacation, obviously extending a lot of care to make sure Velvet was exercised in the middle of an early March cold snap. And that was after watching Velvet for the prior weekend, so I'm surprised Cole wasn't over my energetic doof of a dog! Cole was also extremely accommodating when travel plans threw curves our way, and we picked Velvet up a couple hours later than anticipated. I really appreciated his grace and kindness and would recommend him a thousand percent.
Diligent, caring, and respectful are core traits of Cole’s person. His actions dependably reflect these values. He’s watched my (very particular) terrier several times. Moreover, he puts my spouse and I at complete ease, as if it were no big deal to do all the extra stuff our dog needs. Knowing him as well as I do, I can confidently say he will bring the same care to taking care of your pup.
Cole is a great petsitter! He took great care of my dog while I was out of town. He was attentive, communicative, and timely. He and his partner recently lost their dog, so he shared that he likes to take care of other dogs to fill that dog-sized hole in his heart!

I currently work from home on freelance engineering design projects, and my own home improvement projects. This means I have a heaps of availability to pay attention to your pet!

Safety, trust & environment
I am an active individual that recently moved to Anchorage, I love walking with dogs to explore neighborhoods and get exercise. I also have a yard at my home, which is unfenced, and I look forward to romping around with leashed dogs. Regarding situations where dogs stay at my house, I currently have two young cats which any visiting dogs will have to be okay with. Because my house has two levels, I do have the ability to block the stairway and provide my cats with a sanctuary if the cats get tired of dog games.
