I will be in Black Mountain for a few weeks, then leave for Chicago in February! I've updated my schedule to include availability. For the time being, I would love to help out by walking your doggie or dropping in for your kitty or pup 🤗.

I generally feed my doggie twice a day when I'm back home, and walk him about three times a day. With clients, I am willing to do whatever schedule works for your pet, as well as walk a route they're familiar with. For kitties, I generally leave dry food out during the day and put together a nice wet food dinner. I clean the litter box every other day or so.

Let me know if your dog or cat is shy or reserved so I can pace accordingly, if they have trouble with certain genders, or any known health issues or special needs. For house stays, I do not book for pets that are not potty trained (unless they are puppies)!
A typical day
I love playing catch and going on hikes with dogs, playing laser and feather toy with cats, and giving lots of snuggles! For doggie play time, I'll tug on ropes, do some wrestling with the larger dogs, and toss their favorite chew toys.

Though I have a little Beaglier of my own back home named Pippin, I have quite a bit of experience with backcountry sled dog care! I've learned to do wound and joint care on multi-day expeditions, break up fights and make sure we all get home safe. In the front country, I've helped train my little dog while growing up!

We were disappointed with Leyla. She stretched herself too thin with too many bookings at once and forgot to check in out dogs for close to 12 hours.
