Not only was she flexible, but was gracious and patient regarding the changes as well. Upon return, though I planned on picking Jojo up from Weslyn's residence, she drove to me instead because my car had been buried in the snow. Jojo was happy and taken care of, and Weslyn's professional attitude made being away from my pup easier.”

About: I’ve always grown up around pets. I’ve had hamsters, cats, dogs, & even some small reptiles. I couldn’t wait to finally have animals of my own. I started having major responsibilities for dogs about 6 years ago when we got our family dog Ruby. I took on the responsibility of house training, walking, grooming, etc. I also taught her many tricks. Now, I have two puppies & I’m loving every second of it. With having two puppies, I’ve learned so much more about how to care for animals & having unlimited patience. About: I’ve been around dogs all my life, including working at mushing kennels and fostering rescue dogs. I’m a confident, active and loving dogsitter I work part time through the winter months and have 2 playful friendly dogs of my own. Typically dogs go out in the morning before I leave, get a lunchtime trip outside and will have a longer activity like a walk, swim, or trip to the dog park in the evening. I work about 10 minutes away, so it is easy to run home to check on the dogs. Dogs are welcome anywhere in my home. During my absence, trust worthy dogs maybe able to sleep on the couch, otherwise they be kenneled or on a dog run in the yard depending on preference. Dogs will have supervised yard time and leash walks, as well as fenced off leash time if suitable. I can feed on any schedule specified.

About: A decade plus of canine and feline care experience. I have ample exposure to large dogs, high energy dogs, and dogs with special care requirements. My working history includes multiple years volunteering at an animal shelter, multiple years at the Denali National Park Sled Dog Kennel, and a year at an Iditarod Kennel here in Fairbanks. This past winter, I both won the T-Dog 200 Sled Dog Race and more importantly was awarded the Vets Choice Award for exemplary dog care and health. I take pride in making sure every pet I work with gets to have a safe, fun, and fulfilling stay! I work full time at a nature preserve here in Fairbanks so I am at work from 9-5, M-F.
