About: I’ve been around dogs all my life, including working at mushing kennels and fostering rescue dogs. I’m a confident, active and loving dogsitter I work part time through the winter months and have 2 playful friendly dogs of my own. Typically dogs go out in the morning before I leave, get a lunchtime trip outside and will have a longer activity like a walk, swim, or trip to the dog park in the evening. I work about 10 minutes away, so it is easy to run home to check on the dogs. Dogs are welcome anywhere in my home. During my absence, trust worthy dogs maybe able to sleep on the couch, otherwise they be kenneled or on a dog run in the yard depending on preference. I have been dedicated to animal care from a young age, always showing a strong passion for helping animals in need. Over 15 years ago, I began working with rescue dogs while searching for the right dog to adopt. During this time, I adopted my first and third foster dogs, later welcoming a third rescue into my home. I continued fostering dogs until 2018, by which point I was caring for five of my own, along with chickens, goats, horses, ducks, and other animals. Additionally, I volunteered and worked at an animal sanctuary specializing in behavioral modification training, focusing on rehabilitating dogs with the most challenging backgrounds. I am currently employed full-time, working 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday. I base my life around the well being of my companion! I love my dog and his happiness means everything to me. I currently work M-Thurs 10-hour day shifts. I walk my dog on a leash, unless im in an area that is safe for him to be off leash (Chena or Tanan Lake areas.) I do take my dog to the dog park for some socialization as i believe it is very important to keep him social with other dogs and humans. My dog does sleep on my bed. As far as taking care of clients pets, I will respect their wishes with how they want their loved one taken care of.

About: I love taking care of cats. My friends and family fully entrust me in the care of their feline babies. I just love getting to know them and their individual personalities. I've had ones that are so loving and affectionate and I've also had the independent ones that are content to coexist with you, but everything must be on their terms. One time I was cat sitting for a friend while she was on vacation. I immediately noticed when he wasn’t feeling well and was very lethargic. We lived in a very remote area with the nearest vet was a 3 hour drive. I noticed swelling on the top of his head. I was pretty sure it was an abscess. I dug into my background as a medical assistant and was able to gently apply pressure and extract the thick fluid. As soon as I cleared out the infection area, he was back to his normal self. To this day my friend tells the story of how I performed “emergency surgery” on her little friend. While I absolutely realize the number one option is care from a veterinarian, in a pinch, you do what you have to do and he was getting worse and worse each time I checked in on him.

About: We have both had pets our entire lives, until recently. Have experience in medication and senior care needs. We have had both cats and dogs in the home. Most of our animals were rescue critters, with various backgrounds. We have not only taken care of our own pets but watched friends critters when they traveled. Currently one of us is retired and will be able to be with your pet all day, except on occasion when we go out or errands. Both of us are home in the evenings and weekends and are also willing to take your pet with for rides or errands, if allowed. We enjoy daily walks. We do not have a fenced yard but a nice area for walking behind the house. Your pet will always be supervised. We can crate your dog, if needed or requested, but otherwise they will have the run of the house.

About: I have been dog sitting for people since I was in my early teens. One of my repeat sits was a reactive german shepherd, and his overexcited sister. After the initial few minutes of him getting used to me, we never had a problem. I am confident with both dogs and cats, am able to give medicine, and have a good attitude. I am currently not working, so I would be able to dedicate whatever time necessary fully to whatever pet I am taking care of. My life would revolve around their schedule. I will do potty breaks and playtime based off of what the environment looks like, (ie fenced yard or not, is it -40°). I would do walks exclusively with a leash.

About: I've had pets for as long as I can remember and I'm that person that will go out of my way to make sure an animal is happy and content. Family, friends and neighbors fully entrust me with the care and transport of their pets and can rest their minds because they know their pet is in good hands. I send texts, pics and any other updates of how their beloved furry family member is doing while they're away. One time I was watching my friend's senior cat while she was away. We lived in very rural Alaska at the time where the nearest vet was a 3 hour drive. He was fine for the first couple of days, then out of nowhere he became very lethargic. Low energy and wasn't eating. I noticed a rather large, soft lump on his head between his ears which I thought to be an abscess. I reached into my background as a medical assistant and decided to drain the fluid. Once I did, he jumped back to his old self... purrring, playing, eating. Yes, I know taking him to the vet is the best option, but sometimes you do what needs to be done. While I love both cats and dogs and am willing to care for both, the dog would have to be the right fit. Meaning, due to my injury, I'm not able to go on runs like I used to or long walks. I am currently recovering from an on the job injury, so my schedule is very flexible. I am available most any time aside from my physical therapy appointments once a week. Don't let my injury deter you. I am strong, mobile and more than capable of most activities minus running or long walks. I prefer taking care of pets in the comfort of their home. I am both dependable and reliable as a house/pet sitter or drop in.

I have a lot of respect and love for dogs, I accommodate my schedule based on their needs. My fiance is home when I work so it’s rare dogs in my care are left unattended.
About: I’m an adoptive dog mom of an almost 12 year pit mix. I’ve fostered many dogs though the years. I’ve taken care of farm animals, family and friends pets, and enjoy animals so much. I currently have 11 chickens along with my furry baby boy, Dozer. I was in the medical field for over 7 years and enjoyed the therapy aspect of animal connection with my patients! It is truly amazing the peace an animal can bring to a weary heart and I’m so appreciative for the furry beings that enrich our daily lives. I’m a military spouse and have never met an animal I didn’t like. Even took care of a squirrel for a short period of time. I have open availability, currently. Looking to fill my time with wiggly butts and happy faces! I have a flexible schedule and reliable transportation for work. I live on over an acre that is heavily wooded around the perimeter. My dog receives twice daily sprinting and ball catching episodes outside, where he is allowed to play until he is tired.

About: I’ve been a dog owner in the past for many years and enjoy walking dogs, playing fetch or just showing them lots of love! I currently have a dog and 2 cats of my own that my parents watch for me while I’m doing a sitting job. I do have some experience with training and teaching commands if needed. I am not able to have your dog at my apartment but am willing to come to you to help any way I can! I am using this service out to make some extra cash but also to appease my animal loving heart as well! :) Your pet(s) will be in good hands with me! I work “bankers hours” so I am free on nights and some weekends depending on my schedule and previous commitments but generally plenty of free time. I am always concerned for my own pets health and happiness and do any and everything I can do to make sure they’re living their best life. I will mostly be free for nights and weekends. I don’t usually plan much, especially in the winter, so I have plenty of free time! My cats have plenty of toys and 2 towers to climb on. They are always fed and watered and are always good for a cuddle.

I have a flexible working schedule, some days at work need to be in person, some can be distance, so I can stay with customer's pets. About: I’ve been around dogs all my life, including working at mushing kennels and fostering rescue dogs. I’m a confident, active and loving dogsitter I work part time through the winter months and have 2 playful friendly dogs of my own. Typically dogs go out in the morning before I leave, get a lunchtime trip outside and will have a longer activity like a walk, swim, or trip to the dog park in the evening. I work about 10 minutes away, so it is easy to run home to check on the dogs. Dogs are welcome anywhere in my home. During my absence, trust worthy dogs maybe able to sleep on the couch, otherwise they be kenneled or on a dog run in the yard depending on preference. Dogs will have supervised yard time and leash walks, as well as fenced off leash time if suitable. I can feed on any schedule specified.

About: Ive had pets my whole life, from large to small. Ive taken care of puppies 6+ weeks old and elderly dogs as well. High energy or couch potatoes I’ve had them all! Currently a stay at home with two dogs, one frenchie and one husky mix. I can feed on a strict schedule, take walks, play, anything required has my 100% attention. I have plenty of leashes at my home, do not have a fenced in yard of my own. Dogs can be separated at meal time and potty breaks are often.
