About: I’ve always loved dogs more than people—and caring for them truly makes me happy 🤍 I’m a night shift nurse working three days a week and my finance is home while I’m at work, which means I have plenty of flexibility and dedicated time to give your dog the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I have a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd who is friendly, well-socialized, and loves making new dog friends. If your pup enjoys company, they’ll have a built-in adventure buddy! I’m very outdoorsy and love keeping dogs active and engaged. Whether your dog needs a quick walk or a full-on adventure, I tailor each visit to their energy level and personality. What You Can Expect: • Reliable, responsible care (healthcare background) • Lots of exercise + outdoor time • Photo and update messages • A safe, calm, and loving environment I walk my dog everyday and go on hikes multiple times a week. I work 3 nights/ week and let him out a few times a day. I’m very accommodating with my schedule! My fiance is also home the nights I work so your fur babies will rarely be left alone. I have a lot of respect and love for dogs, I accommodate my schedule based on their needs. My fiance is home when I work so it’s rare dogs in my care are left unattended.
“Samantha was the best dog sitter you could possibly ask for! I just moved up here and needed someone to watch my dog Honey while I was away for a week and a half so I decided to give Rover a shot for the first time. I was really nervous since I didn’t know anyone here in Alaska and never had someone watch Honey before that wasn’t family. However, Samantha put all my nerves to rest the day she came over to meet Honey! While we were away she was always on time, spent lots of time outside with Honey, made sure she got her daily vitamins and sent plenty of pictures which I really appreciated. She gave me peace of mind leaving Honey and I am relieved to have an amazing dog sitter whenever I need to travel in the future. I could not have asked for a better person to care for Honey while I was gone!”

I’m a full time stay at home mom who has a big heart and a lot of love to give. When your pet is with me they will get their basic needs taken care of plus a lot of play time and love. When you leave your pet in my care just know they will be treated like family. Thank you for your time and consideration. I'm currently a stay at home mom of two children and I have plenty of time and energy to dedicate to your fur family members. I am not currently taking pets with in my home because we are doing some home renovation projects, however when caring for your pets within your home I will do my best to keep up with their normal day to day routines, provide a safe friendly experience for them, and give them plenty of love and attention
About: I've had pets for as long as I can remember and I'm that person that will go out of my way to make sure an animal is happy and content. Family, friends and neighbors fully entrust me with the care and transport of their pets and can rest their minds because they know their pet is in good hands. I send texts, pics and any other updates of how their beloved furry family member is doing while they're away. One time I was watching my friend's senior cat while she was away. We lived in very rural Alaska at the time where the nearest vet was a 3 hour drive. He was fine for the first couple of days, then out of nowhere he became very lethargic. Low energy and wasn't eating. I noticed a rather large, soft lump on his head between his ears which I thought to be an abscess. I reached into my background as a medical assistant and decided to drain the fluid. Once I did, he jumped back to his old self... purrring, playing, eating. Yes, I know taking him to the vet is the best option, but sometimes you do what needs to be done. While I love both cats and dogs and am willing to care for both, the dog would have to be the right fit. Meaning, due to my injury, I'm not able to go on runs like I used to or long walks. I am currently recovering from an on the job injury, so my schedule is very flexible. I am available most any time aside from my physical therapy appointments once a week. Don't let my injury deter you. I am strong, mobile and more than capable of most activities minus running or long walks. I prefer taking care of pets in the comfort of their home. I am both dependable and reliable as a house/pet sitter or drop in.
About: I have been taken care of dogs and puppies for 30 years. I am the first person they call when the dogs need walked, bathed or just loved on I am currently active military but will be retiring on 1 May. After that time I will have daily availability, minus one day a week. I have two dogs that are dog friendly and I walk them daily and they are on a leash when I let them out side.
About: With over 11 years of experience caring for pets, I’ve provided loving, reliable care for cats, dogs, and small animals. My responsibilities have included feeding, walking, administering medications, cleaning litter boxes and cages, grooming, and offering companionship tailored to each pet’s personality. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and temperaments, and I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. Whether it’s playtime, cuddle time, or a quiet walk, I make sure every pet feels loved and secured. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I start each morning with feeding, fresh water, and a quick health check to make sure each pet is happy and well. For dogs, that means a morning walk or play session, and for cats, some enrichment or affection depending on their mood. I make time for check-ins, potty breaks, litter box maintenance, and interactive play. In the evenings, I wind things down with another feeding, walks, or quiet time. Caring for pets is something I genuinely enjoy, and ensure consistency and comfort. In my home or a client’s, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment for each pet. I follow their usual routines closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, and play habits. I make sure pets have clean water, a cozy place to rest, and plenty of attention and affection. I’m careful to keep spaces clean, secure, and free of hazards, and I always take time to understand each pet’s personality so I can provide the care they’re used to. Whether I’m boarding pets or visiting during the day, I treat every pet like family. All pets must show proof of vaccination records in order to provide a safe and healthy environment for all pets.
About: Experienced with pets of all ages and species from reptiles and rodents to cats and dogs. Growing up around diverse animals built my confidence, patience, and ability to handle different temperaments. I provide reliable, attentive care and treat every pet like my own. I work from 2-6pm every Wednesday-Saturday but I am able to check in on pets anytime before and after that time! I’m very flexible and can move around certain time scales I care for my own cats at my house. I change their litter boxes everyday and feed them at 9am and at 5pm whenever I eat breakfast and dinner, and they have a running water bowl that I clean weekly! I definitely would treat other pets as my own and care for them as my own.
“Ryann acted responsibly while caring for my dogs as I asked her to. I came home to two happy healthy dogs and that was more than I got from a local boarding place. I would recommend using Ryann as a sitter, and will most likely use her services in the future.”

About: I am active duty military, live in an 3600 SQFT home, and have 2 cats of my own. I was raised around animals my entire life and have taken care of many of them for friends and family. I will show your pet as much attention as needed and will do whatever is needed to make you comfortable with me as your pets guest as well as a guest in your home. I found the passion to do this seeing how difficult it is to find someone that is able to watch your pet when you need to leave out of town. Being military I understand that completely and I know the crucial need for this service. I have used Rover many of times when traveling and I have always been very appreciative. I work normal hours from 7am-3pm. Prior to leaving I make sure they’re good for the day, and coming home I make sure they get all the love and care they need. Respectfully. Trust and respect for animals are always a top priority, and that extends to the environment the animal is in. Whether it’s at my home, or yours, the environment will be respected.
About: I grew up around dogs and now have three of my own! I happily have cared for others dogs and understand the individual needs and personalities of each pup! I am comfortable with walks, play time, and baths! Let me be another loving friend to your dog. I work full time and am looking for an evening walk or run buddy before sunset. Weekends are a little more tricky for me, but just looking for time out of the house with a new fur friend every now and then. At this time I do not have the environment to invite another dog to hang out with my pack! I am happy to play with pups at their home!
“Haley was excellent! She jumped in later in the week when I needed her, took a few great pictures of my babies for me, and made sure they were doing good! Polite, responsible, and trustworthy!”

About: I have been pet sitting and assisting people with exercising their furry (and scaly) friends for over a decade to include volunteering at various animal shelters. I have experience caring for felines and canines ranging from days old rescues, spirited pets who are a few months old, to animals with quite a few years of life experience. For the happiness and wellness of your pet: If they have any special mental or physical accommodations, I just ask to know ahead of time. I have significant experience with pets that have both anxiety and depression, among a number of other diagnosis and general fears. Knowing your pet's needs (even if they just have allergies) before hand prevents us from getting into any triggering environments. I typically work full-time during the week, but I am always ecstatic to get to know and hang out with your furry family members on the weekends and evenings. My pet friendly home has two dogs, one senior and one puppy to keep your pets company. Pets are allowed on the living room couches unless otherwise requested by the owner. The backyard is unfenced, but there are multiple leads in the ground to keep curious minds nearby.
