About: I have my own pet back at home, and he’s taught me some pets are just a little stubborn but patience is the key I currently work a 7-3:30pm job Monday through Friday. I prefer to go to the gym a few times a week and study in my free time. I love pets although all pets are different so I would gather as much information about the pet/pets needs and day to day schedule.

About: I’ve cared for pets for many years and genuinely love animals. I understand how important routines and trust are, and I make sure every pet feels comfortable, calm, and cared for. I am active duty military. I have time throughout the day to take dogs out or feed them when needed. Free Friday through Sunday as well About an acre of land for dogs to roam around on, unfenced. Can be crated when needed or if they are good without it and won’t destroy furniture, that works too. Can take them on walks or hikes.

About: Iv cared for many pets before, including but not exclusively dogs, cats and rabbits. I also have experience with large animals Currently have 7 cats of my own. Im kind with all animals I currently have a full time job, but i am available after 6pm to 10pm, with all day availability Monday and Tuesday. I am willing to adjust if needed I currently have 7 cats that have the run of my house, with supervised outside time for a couple of them. I am not available for boreding

About: I grew up in a big animal lover family with all kinds of pets and in turn have always been responsible for my part in taking care of them, starting at a young age. Currently my husband and I only have one adorable cat named Honeybee. We found her as a stray while visiting my home town in Florida. I also attended a veterinary assisting program in high school as well as interned in a veterinary clinic. If you have a sick, older furry friend, or puppies who need a little extra care I have experience with that and don't mind taking those extra steps for their comfort. My husband and I are both active duty military, depending on what shift we are on for that week our schedule can change. But typically we are gone from our house for 9 hours during the week days. The rest of the time we usually are just chilling. If I'm caring for your pet, my attention during my free time will 100% go to them. As someone who has handled a variety of pets and has a cat, I understand that each pet has their own little quirks. Therefore I can easily adapt to any need your fur babies require to make them feel safe and comfortable.

About: I've had pets for as long as I can remember and I'm that person that will go out of my way to make sure an animal is happy and content. Family, friends and neighbors fully entrust me with the care and transport of their pets and can rest their minds because they know their pet is in good hands. I send texts, pics and any other updates of how their beloved furry family member is doing while they're away. One time I was watching my friend's senior cat while she was away. We lived in very rural Alaska at the time where the nearest vet was a 3 hour drive. He was fine for the first couple of days, then out of nowhere he became very lethargic. Low energy and wasn't eating. I noticed a rather large, soft lump on his head between his ears which I thought to be an abscess. I reached into my background as a medical assistant and decided to drain the fluid. Once I did, he jumped back to his old self... purrring, playing, eating. Yes, I know taking him to the vet is the best option, but sometimes you do what needs to be done. While I love both cats and dogs and am willing to care for both, the dog would have to be the right fit. Meaning, due to my injury, I'm not able to go on runs like I used to or long walks. I am currently recovering from an on the job injury, so my schedule is very flexible. I am available most any time aside from my physical therapy appointments once a week. Don't let my injury deter you. I am strong, mobile and more than capable of most activities minus running or long walks. I prefer taking care of pets in the comfort of their home. I am both dependable and reliable as a house/pet sitter or drop in.

About: I grew up around dogs. I like to keep them active by walking them or playing with them outside. I have taken care of small and large breeds. I have a flexible working schedule, some days at work need to be in person, some can be distance, so I can stay with customer's pets. At client's home I am following the provided pet dietary guidelines. I am frequently letting the pets out for potty breaks. If the yard is not fenced, I am paying extra attention for the presence of other pet or wild animals. I also like to keep the pets busy with activities so they do not get bored.

About: A decade plus of canine and feline care experience. I have ample exposure to large dogs, high energy dogs, and dogs with special care requirements. My working history includes multiple years volunteering at an animal shelter, multiple years at the Denali National Park Sled Dog Kennel, and a year at an Iditarod Kennel here in Fairbanks. This past winter, I both won the T-Dog 200 Sled Dog Race and more importantly was awarded the Vets Choice Award for exemplary dog care and health. I take pride in making sure every pet I work with gets to have a safe, fun, and fulfilling stay! I work full time at a nature preserve here in Fairbanks so I am at work from 9-5, M-F. However I am free outside of these hours. I believe in taking care of every pet as an individual. There’s no one way to do it. I’d like to know your pet and be as accommodating to their needs as possible!

About: Hi! My name is Kristen. I work as vet tech and have been working with animals my entire life. I have a love and passion for dogs and other animals and would love to care for them while you are gone! They are welcome to stay right in our home and become part of the family! I have extensive experience working with animals. I have been volunteering at my local humane society and fostering and rehabilitating dogs for many years. I have years of experience caring for and training sled dogs. I have been training my own dogs for a variety of sports such as Obedience, Rally, and Agility, Dock diving, and Barn Hunt for over ten years as well. I have worked at a doggie daycare and boarding facility for several years where I was constantly working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments (I love them all)! I also have experience pet sitting dogs in my home for many years. I have been working as a vet tech for the past 8 years. I have a flexible work schedule with a 3 hour lunch break and only about 5 minutes away from home. Your dog is never left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. We live just outside of town in a secluded and private area of Goldstream. We have a large fenced in yard for your dog to play in. We also have direct access to the Goldstream trails right from our property (which I hike very frequently with the dogs) We have a small team of sled dogs that are also part of our family. They are fenced off in a separate yard, but all are very friendly. If you have a dog that loves to play, we basically have our own dog park right here with lots of friendly dogs! I have several dogs that absolutely love to play with other dogs and would love to meet your dog. Please contact me if interested! I would love to watch your dog while you are away! I am very active with my own dogs and your dog is welcome to join right in! We play tons of fetch, go swimming and hiking, as well as dog sledding and skijoring in the winter. I have big fenced in yards with two very friendly house dogs. Your dog will be welcomed into my home and treated just like my own dogs.
