About: I've always had my own pets from ferrets, raccoons, dogs, cats, to horses, cows and chickens. I've pet sat for friends and family and occasionally my neighbor when needed! I do live on base, so base access is preferred. I'm a stay at home mom to 1yr old little man who does great with our 2 dogs. Just looking to help out and possibly play with some other pets! I have a fenced in yard that makes it super easy to let them get some energy out! We have a chocolate lab and a beagle! Both are fixed.

About: I know how hard it can be to leave your pup as he looks at you with those eyes as you walk through the door You know the look I'm talking about. Whether you're leaving for the day or a whole week, I would love to hang out with your pup during your time away and give him or her their daily walks, cuddles, playtime, or whatever else they may need. I also offer baths to boarders before you pick them up, and depending on pup, nail trims! Be sure to specify when booking if interested! Ask about available puppy training if interested! (Available through board and train, or weekend hourly care!) My previous work experience includes working at a doggie daycare center for 2 years, overseeing playtime, swim time, bath time, feeding, and setting up for overnight stays. Through this company I often brought home client's dogs for overnight stays if they did not want their dog staying on the facility campus overnight. I also worked as a veterinary receptionist, quickly moving up within a year, to a manager position. While here I learned a lot about pet diseases, how to best care for them, appropriately administer medications, as well as be able to quickly recognize any problems that may arise in terms of a pets health. I have had dogs since I was a little girl, and currently share my home with an old pittie mix and an energetic malmute puppy! I love dogs of all breeds and sizes and look forward to meeting yours! References available! I With 3 younger kids at home our house is full of energy! My husband and I strive to get the pups out on a walk atleast 1-2 times a day, weather permitting during winter. My kiddos LOVE playing fetch, wrestling, or just snuggling with our client pups, and often enjoy helping feed or tiring them out every day! -Boarding dogs will be kept separate during feeding events (whether on a separate floor of the house, or in a dog crate during feeding time) to prevent altercations between pups. -We have a fenced in 'potty' yard for the pups, otherwise dogs will be leashed when hanging out outside with us or going on a walk. Repeat client pups may be kept off leash after comfortability has been determined and owners have agreed and are comfortable.

I have a lot of respect and love for dogs, I accommodate my schedule based on their needs. My fiance is home when I work so it’s rare dogs in my care are left unattended.

About: I’m an adoptive dog mom of an almost 12 year pit mix. I’ve fostered many dogs though the years. I’ve taken care of farm animals, family and friends pets, and enjoy animals so much. I currently have 11 chickens along with my furry baby boy, Dozer. I was in the medical field for over 7 years and enjoyed the therapy aspect of animal connection with my patients! It is truly amazing the peace an animal can bring to a weary heart and I’m so appreciative for the furry beings that enrich our daily lives. I’m a military spouse and have never met an animal I didn’t like. Even took care of a squirrel for a short period of time. I have open availability, currently. Looking to fill my time with wiggly butts and happy faces! I have a flexible schedule and reliable transportation for work. I live on over an acre that is heavily wooded around the perimeter. My dog receives twice daily sprinting and ball catching episodes outside, where he is allowed to play until he is tired.

About: We have both had pets our entire lives, until recently. Have experience in medication and senior care needs. We have had both cats and dogs in the home. Most of our animals were rescue critters, with various backgrounds. We have not only taken care of our own pets but watched friends critters when they traveled. Currently one of us is retired and will be able to be with your pet all day, except on occasion when we go out or errands. Both of us are home in the evenings and weekends and are also willing to take your pet with for rides or errands, if allowed. We enjoy daily walks. We do not have a fenced yard but a nice area for walking behind the house. Your pet will always be supervised. We can crate your dog, if needed or requested, but otherwise they will have the run of the house.

About: Hi, I'm Dave! I have over 15 years of professional work experience and education in the animal care field; working with everything from rodents to horses, and everything in between! I've had the pleasure of helping out 20 different Fairbanks families so far and look forward to growing that circle soon! In 2009, I completed a vocational school program in Small Animal Science: a two-year course designed for training future veterinary technicians. From there I worked at several boarding kennels where I cared for dogs and cats staying for day care as well as boarding. I now have my B.S. in Wildlife Biology, but still enjoy caring for more domesticated animals of all sizes. I have a very friendly Border Collie who I am training to eventually compete in agility competitions, as well as other canine sports and activities.
