“She went above and beyond dealing with our dog’s unexpected medical issues. Very knowledgeable and attentive to his condition. We could not have asked for a better person to watch him and she will be our first choice the next time we go out of town.”

“Leslie was amazing! Very communicative and sent us plenty of photos of our sweet Daisy. We had a change in our travel plans and Leslie was flexible and allowed us to extend by 2 days with no issues. She is affordable and incredibly qualified and loving with pets! We will book with her again.”

“Breanna did a great job keeping my kitty over the weekend while I went out of town. She sent me pictures and let me know she was doing well. She was ready to go (all packed up) when I went to pick her up. She seems to have had a great weekend, and I appreciate being able to leave her in a safe and loving place!”

“Izzy loved her stay and actually made new friends!! I was so pleased with the promptness of responses, daily pictures, and willingness to work with me and my dog on adjusting schedules. Would definitely recommend and book again!”

“They are super a super sweet couple who were kind enough to step up on short notice after the sitter I initially hired had a family emergency. My dog enjoyed her time at their house and all the extra outside time and walks. They administered her medicine with zero issues. We got lots of great updates and photos while we were gone, too! I would definitely book with them again.”

“Londyn is a wonderful sitter! She and her dog Onyx welcomed my pup into their home and gave him the time he needed to adjust and relax before I departed. She gave a few updates through the duration of his stay and included a couple of pictures each time. Londyn helped us to feel at ease while she watched our pup and I would highly recommend her to anyone. Should we need a sitter again she will definitely be our first choice!”

About: I love taking care of cats. My friends and family fully entrust me in the care of their feline babies. I just love getting to know them and their individual personalities. I've had ones that are so loving and affectionate and I've also had the independent ones that are content to coexist with you, but everything must be on their terms. One time I was cat sitting for a friend while she was on vacation. I immediately noticed when he wasn’t feeling well and was very lethargic. We lived in a very remote area with the nearest vet was a 3 hour drive. I noticed swelling on the top of his head. I was pretty sure it was an abscess. I dug into my background as a medical assistant and was able to gently apply pressure and extract the thick fluid. As soon as I cleared out the infection area, he was back to his normal self. To this day my friend tells the story of how I performed “emergency surgery” on her little friend. While I absolutely realize the number one option is care from a veterinarian, in a pinch, you do what you have to do and he was getting worse and worse each time I checked in on him.

About: I’ve loved helping take care of my friends & neighbors dogs so much the past couple years I’m finally getting my own and want to spend time with yours! I am taking some time off this summer and so I have quite a bit of free time. I am a travel nurse who loves hiking, camping, paddleboarding, and any and all adventures! I am getting my first puppy this summer and figured the more I can hang out with dogs and make some other doggie friends the better! I unfortunately cannot board dogs in my own home due to my living situation, but am happy to drop by for walks/potty breaks, house sit, or even pick up your dog for a day of adventures!

About: I grew up with cats almost all my life, I own two myself. I take cat health very serious especially being knowledgeable with different sensory conditions for my cats and others! I used to have a very old cat Callie who needed medication everyday and certain foods throughout the day just to keep her going so I’m pretty specialized in elder cat care as well as kittens!

About: I have been pet sitting and assisting people with exercising their furry (and scaly) friends for over a decade to include volunteering at various animal shelters. I have experience caring for felines and canines ranging from days old rescues, spirited pets who are a few months old, to animals with quite a few years of life experience. For the happiness and wellness of your pet: If they have any special mental or physical accommodations, I just ask to know ahead of time. I have significant experience with pets that have both anxiety and depression, among a number of other diagnosis and general fears. Knowing your pet's needs (even if they just have allergies) before hand prevents us from getting into any triggering environments. I typically work full-time during the week, but I am always ecstatic to get to know and hang out with your furry family members on the weekends and evenings. My pet friendly home has two dogs, one senior and one puppy to keep your pets company. Pets are allowed on the living room couches unless otherwise requested by the owner. The backyard is unfenced, but there are multiple leads in the ground to keep curious minds nearby.
About: I have been around many animals in my 25 years of life. I’ve taken care of my dogs cats, and I’ve even taken care of reptiles. whatever you need I can help you. I am stay at home mom and want to make some passive income. I’m available anytime any day. My dogs and cats get along with anyone and any animal. At my home I have one dog three cats. I have a three bedroom home so if they don’t get along with other dogs/cats they can be boarded in my room with me.

About: In 2022, I fell in love with my first cat and now share my home with two more kitties! Living with multiple cats has taught me so much about how different each personality can be. One of my cats is quite shy and independent, one who is aloof and always up in the clouds, and one clingy and extremely playful. I’ve learned how to be in tune with these personalities and therefore meet those unique needs with patience and consistency. From feeding routines and litter box care to playtime and cuddles (when they want it), I understand the small details that establishes trust, as well as making the fur babies feel safe and happy. Because I know what it’s like to entrust someone else with my own pets, I treat every cat I care for with the same attention and love I give my own.

About: I have owned, and also boarded many many kittys- I have a safe area made for them in my home, endless cat nip and kitty treats to make them feel more comfortable- I am also open to going to your home too and feeding, playing, cuddling with them 1-2 a day!

About: Growing up, I took care of two medium husky mixed dogs. I would walk, feed, and care for them for the 5 years that they lived in our home. In high school and college, I periodically dog sat and cared for cats of family friends. I have always loved the company of animals and have experience with all sizes and ages. In my senior year, I cared for an elderly dog who was blind. It was so rewarding to help this dog in its final years of life. I now own 2 cats and I love every minute I get to spend with them. I take very seriously the responsibility of caring for animals and have plenty of experience doing so! Currently, I am not attending school so I am completely available for house sitting, dog walking, and drop-ins at any time in the week! I have no preference for the time of day and am very flexible with my scheduling. I am able to house pets in my own home. I am completely available to do house visits and care for the pets in-home. I love to take walks with dogs to give them adequate exercise. I am very respectful when entering client homes and would give as much time as needed to keep pets company and give affection while you are away from the home.
About: Hello, my name is Taylor M! I am a young professional in the local Fairbanks area. After having to say good by to my senior companion of 4 years(a loving basset named April) I spent a few years unable to take in a companion of my own. Instead I began to help care for the companions in my area as their parents needed! ☺️ I now have two pets of my own- two tortishell cats named Fawkes and Cheddar. Theh tolerates dogs in the home but prefers to have our cabin to themselves. Due to this I limit dog care in my own home, but am able to house and dog sit elsewhere. Located on the East side, but could pop in anywhere in the Fairbanks area. I enjoy running and staying active, would love to take your pup for a run! Reasons I love animals: - Unconditional love! - No talking (perfect for an introvert such as myself!) - The happy look dogs get on their face as they're running! - The feeling of acceptance one gets when a cat makes an active choice to sit in their lap. Feel free to reach out with any inquiries! I do shift work that keeps me busy in the evening, but frees up my week days typically. As I do have a cat of my own now, I tend to pick shorter sitting jobs. If I am ever unable to accept a job I do have other sitters I can recommend. First impressions are everything, right? To ensure your pet trusts and feel comfortable with me and in your home I always coordinate a first meeting in the home with the owner. I ask to be walked through any concerns and what the day-to-day life of the pet looks like. I find that the less a routine for a pet is disrupted the less likely something unplanned could happen.

About: I've always had my own pets from ferrets, raccoons, dogs, cats, to horses, cows and chickens. I've pet sat for friends and family and occasionally my neighbor when needed! I do live on base, so base access is preferred. I'm a stay at home mom to 1yr old little man who does great with our 2 dogs. Just looking to help out and possibly play with some other pets! I have a fenced in yard that makes it super easy to let them get some energy out! We have a chocolate lab and a beagle! Both are fixed.

About: I know how hard it can be to leave your pup as he looks at you with those eyes as you walk through the door You know the look I'm talking about. Whether you're leaving for the day or a whole week, I would love to hang out with your pup during your time away and give him or her their daily walks, cuddles, playtime, or whatever else they may need. I also offer baths to boarders before you pick them up, and depending on pup, nail trims! Be sure to specify when booking if interested! Ask about available puppy training if interested! (Available through board and train, or weekend hourly care!) My previous work experience includes working at a doggie daycare center for 2 years, overseeing playtime, swim time, bath time, feeding, and setting up for overnight stays. Through this company I often brought home client's dogs for overnight stays if they did not want their dog staying on the facility campus overnight. I also worked as a veterinary receptionist, quickly moving up within a year, to a manager position. While here I learned a lot about pet diseases, how to best care for them, appropriately administer medications, as well as be able to quickly recognize any problems that may arise in terms of a pets health. I have had dogs since I was a little girl, and currently share my home with an old pittie mix and an energetic malmute puppy! I love dogs of all breeds and sizes and look forward to meeting yours! References available! I With 3 younger kids at home our house is full of energy! My husband and I strive to get the pups out on a walk atleast 1-2 times a day, weather permitting during winter. My kiddos LOVE playing fetch, wrestling, or just snuggling with our client pups, and often enjoy helping feed or tiring them out every day! -Boarding dogs will be kept separate during feeding events (whether on a separate floor of the house, or in a dog crate during feeding time) to prevent altercations between pups. -We have a fenced in 'potty' yard for the pups, otherwise dogs will be leashed when hanging out outside with us or going on a walk. Repeat client pups may be kept off leash after comfortability has been determined and owners have agreed and are comfortable.
“Miranda is a loving person who has a passion of caring for animals. She is a responsible pet owner and sitter who has a wealth of knowledge. She even gave our Rose a bath! She gave me updates and took care of Rose. Our Rose is a small dog who weighs 9 lbs. I would recommend her to others.”

About: We have both had pets our entire lives, until recently. Have experience in medication and senior care needs. We have had both cats and dogs in the home. Most of our animals were rescue critters, with various backgrounds. We have not only taken care of our own pets but watched friends critters when they traveled. Currently one of us is retired and will be able to be with your pet all day, except on occasion when we go out or errands. Both of us are home in the evenings and weekends and are also willing to take your pet with for rides or errands, if allowed. We enjoy daily walks. We do not have a fenced yard but a nice area for walking behind the house. Your pet will always be supervised. We can crate your dog, if needed or requested, but otherwise they will have the run of the house.

About: Looking for exceptional dog care? Look no further! My name is Kait, and I bring over 20 years of experience in nurturing and caring for dogs. Raised in a family of passionate dog lovers, I have been surrounded by our furry friends since childhood. For the past 6 years, I have dedicated my time to fostering dogs at the renowned Hound Lounge in Anchorage. This invaluable experience has taught me the ins and outs of providing top-notch care to canines of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. Even so-called "aggressive" dogs hold no fear for me, as I have grown up around pits and mastiffs with absolute ease. One thing that sets me apart is the instant connection I form with dogs. They seem to understand that I approach them with kindness, compassion, and unconditional love. I believe in treating every dog as an individual, tailoring my care to their specific needs and desires. Whether they crave snuggles, engaging playtime, or simply a comforting presence, I am dedicated to providing exactly what they need. So if you're seeking someone who genuinely prefers dogs over humans (let's be honest, who can blame me?), I am the perfect choice for your precious furry companion. Rest assured, your dog will be in capable hands with me, receiving the utmost care, attention, and affection they deserve. Don't hesitate to reach out and let's discuss how I can provide unparalleled dog care tailored specifically to your dog's needs. Together, we'll create a stress-free and joyful experience for your beloved canine! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I work remotely, so I’m home most of the day and able to provide consistent presence rather than quick drop-ins. I plan my schedule around feeding, walks, playtime, and downtime so pets get attention, structure, and calm companionship throughout the day—not just care tasks. On a weekly level, I maintain routines that match what they’re used to, keeping things predictable and low-stress while you’re away. I only house-sit, so your pet gets to stay right where they’re most comfortable—their own home, routines, and familiar smells. I follow your care instructions closely, keep the house secure, and treat your space with respect. I’m calm, attentive, and let pets set the pace, especially at the beginning. I pay attention to their body language, moods, and little signals so I can respond before stress builds. Because I’m actually living in the home, they get real companionship and consistency—not just someone popping in and out. The goal is for them to feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away.

You’ll get pictures of your happy pet every time they stay with us If you have any questions don’t hesitate to reach out! I am a stay at home mom so the only time your fur baby will be alone is when I go to the grocery store, and when I go for walks with my little one. While indoors get to play with the tornado of dog toys strewn throughout the house. They will also get plenty of human interaction, our dogs would even say they get too much at times haha.
About: Hi, I'm Dave! I have over 15 years of professional work experience and education in the animal care field; working with everything from rodents to horses, and everything in between! I've had the pleasure of helping out 20 different Fairbanks families so far and look forward to growing that circle soon! In 2009, I completed a vocational school program in Small Animal Science: a two-year course designed for training future veterinary technicians. From there I worked at several boarding kennels where I cared for dogs and cats staying for day care as well as boarding. I now have my B.S. in Wildlife Biology, but still enjoy caring for more domesticated animals of all sizes. I have a very friendly Border Collie who I am training to eventually compete in agility competitions, as well as other canine sports and activities. I am looking forward to making connections with other pet parents here in the Fairbanks area, and hope that you will let me care for your pet! References can be made available upon request! I have experience caring for the following: Dogs (including several dog sled teams of 15+ dogs) Cats Horses Goats Chickens Ducks/geese Rabbits Guinea pigs/rats/mice/etc Fish Birds Chinchillas Reptiles/Amphibians August through April is my 'off season' from my remote fieldwork, meaning I have ample time to dedicate to house/pet sitting when back in town. I have many friends and coworkers that ask me to house/dog sit and my '22-'23 calendar is filling up fast. Reach out to me if you would like to get on my schedule! Whether in my cabin, or at your home, an animals safety is my #1 priority. I am very flexible with an individual pets needs/requirements and can adapt very easily to adjust to what is necessary - whether that's leashed walks, supervised playtime with other dogs, or kenneled naps.

About: I've had pets for as long as I can remember and I'm that person that will go out of my way to make sure an animal is happy and content. Family, friends and neighbors fully entrust me with the care and transport of their pets and can rest their minds because they know their pet is in good hands. I send texts, pics and any other updates of how their beloved furry family member is doing while they're away. One time I was watching my friend's senior cat while she was away. We lived in very rural Alaska at the time where the nearest vet was a 3 hour drive. He was fine for the first couple of days, then out of nowhere he became very lethargic. Low energy and wasn't eating. I noticed a rather large, soft lump on his head between his ears which I thought to be an abscess. I reached into my background as a medical assistant and decided to drain the fluid. Once I did, he jumped back to his old self... purrring, playing, eating. Yes, I know taking him to the vet is the best option, but sometimes you do what needs to be done. While I love both cats and dogs and am willing to care for both, the dog would have to be the right fit. Meaning, due to my injury, I'm not able to go on runs like I used to or long walks. I am currently recovering from an on the job injury, so my schedule is very flexible. I am available most any time aside from my physical therapy appointments once a week. Don't let my injury deter you. I am strong, mobile and more than capable of most activities minus running or long walks. I prefer taking care of pets in the comfort of their home. I am both dependable and reliable as a house/pet sitter or drop in.

About: I have been dog sitting for people since I was in my early teens. One of my repeat sits was a reactive german shepherd, and his overexcited sister. After the initial few minutes of him getting used to me, we never had a problem. I am confident with both dogs and cats, am able to give medicine, and have a good attitude. I am currently not working, so I would be able to dedicate whatever time necessary fully to whatever pet I am taking care of. My life would revolve around their schedule. I will do potty breaks and playtime based off of what the environment looks like, (ie fenced yard or not, is it -40°). I would do walks exclusively with a leash.
About: I have been taken care of dogs and puppies for 30 years. I am the first person they call when the dogs need walked, bathed or just loved on I am currently active military but will be retiring on 1 May. After that time I will have daily availability, minus one day a week. I have two dogs that are dog friendly and I walk them daily and they are on a leash when I let them out side.
About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was able to drive on my own! I’ve had my own dogs my whole life, but since I just moved here and had to leave them behind, i’m looking to get my dog fix in, while helping y’all out! :) I work full time, but my job is super flexible, so i’d be able to stop by and check in on your pups throughout the day, as needed. I do have base access as well. I will take every safety precaution necessary to keep your puppy safe and comfortable. I prefer to keep dogs in their own environment because it is usually beneficial for them, but I do have a pet friendly townhome if needed!
About: I’ve owned dogs and cats my whole life, and am adaptable to any furry friend’s needs. My specialized experience includes caring for a Great Dane on a specialized diet and a blind black Labrador who loved to play fetch. I’ve also cared for toy breeds, including feeding, walking, and administering oral medications. I am currently not working, so I am able to stop by almost any time of day. I prefer to have Friday evenings off but am willing to accommodate if I am given a few days notice. I have experience staying overnight at friends and family’s homes while taking care for their pets, and have no issue staying up late or waking early for a pet’s needs. I also welcome lots of playtime or snuggles if needed.
About: Greetings!! I'm a professional and outgoing pet caregiver with 18+ years of experience. I'm currently taking classes on animal behavior, problems and solutions, and dog emotion & cognition. My goal is to make you feel like you can have it all; a pet who's well cared for and safe at all times AND the freedom to travel and spend time away when you cannot bring your beloved 4-legged companion with you. Please let me know if your dog or cat needs medication, has any allergies, has specific anxieties (such as separation), or if there are any other special considerations that may make our time together be more relaxing for your pup (or kitty.) I love to play with animals and always include play-time and pet-time with my visits, unless otherwise preferred. I will treat your fur-babies as if they were my own! :) I usually do a walk in the morning and at night, and play ball daily with dogs who like to fetch. I go on longer walks in nature a couple times a week with my dog and will take your dog too if they like car rides! I try to play with kitties at least an hour-ish a day and will pet your kitty as much as they'll let me! I try to get in a good brushing for all the animals during my stay if there's a brush available. I'll let your animals sleep in the bed if that's something that they're used to. I love snuggling with animals! My long time partner Tim has been helping me with sits since I started working days again. This makes it so your animals can have help if I am having a long work day. It also makes walks easier if you have more than 2 dogs that need walking at the same time! And provides ample play time in case I have to work on my computer. If I intend to have him help on a sit I will tell you beforehand and make sure you get the opportunity to meet each other!
About: Veterinary Technician since 1998 specializing in dogs, horses, large animal, exotics, special needs, and large properties! I've been pet sitting as a side gig since becoming a Vet Tech in 1998. Then I was a full time pet sitter across the country from 2006 through 2020. We've always had animals and I grew up around a lot of horses. I have an animal nutrition degree and animal behavior degree, setting me apart of from many other sitters. I also have a cohort sometimes, my Mother, she likes to join me on hikes when in town visiting. She has always loved visiting me during pet sits when she can and has her own pet sits she does now too back in her home state. She's where my never-ending love and respect for animals comes from! I'm a perfectionist and detail oriented person, and uphold your routines and rules to the best of my ability, while also giving your critters plenty of attention and love. I'm all about CUSTOM! Whatever you need for your pets needs, I'm here to help! Feeding, behavior, training, special needs... all things I can manage and help with. Fully open to new situations as well, I'm a quick on-the-go learner, fast study and love new challenges. Many references available upon request. I'm a seasonal worker. I split time between Aurora season in Fairbanks, and Bear Viewing season in Homer, Alaska. In fairbanks I work nights doing aurora tours and photography... generally 3 or 4 nights per week, from 9pm to 3am, about 6 hours. From September through December I usually work 3 nights per week. In Homer I work 6 days per week from 6am to 3pm, June through August. Otherwise, I'm a homebody, happy to be where the Furry critters are! All of my jobs are pet friendly, so special pet needs can be accommodated. In Fairbanks with minor exceptions, I would come to your home! My landlord is dog friendly, as a foster home for dogs themselves, but the property is not super dog friendly without a fenced yard. I'm happy to drive within 100 miles of Fairbanks to come and care for your loved ones.
About: Ten years as a veterinary doctor, lifetime as an animal lover and guardian. Friends and clients describe me as someone who brings a calm, genuine warmth to every interaction. I enjoy both the quiet process of connecting with anxious pets and the exciting challenge of keeping active working dogs gainfully employed. I set my availability to coordinate with days when I am not on shift, so I will be home full-time and adaptable to your furry/feathered/scaled friend's schedule during their stay. For my own pup, I usually dedicate a total of one hour to training (split into a few dispersed sessions throughout the day) and 1-2 hours for exercise and adventures, in addition to potty walks. I am happy to provide the same for my guests, adjusted as needed to accommodate their individual needs. My home is on 5 acres at the end of a road in the hills. The area is very quiet, however I keep my guests on-leash for safety, as the yard is not fenced. I am happy to care for pets who have special needs, including administration of medications prescribed by your veterinarian. While I do not offer primary veterinary care to my boarding guests, my credentials and experience provide the assurance that your friend is in uniquely capable hands in the event of an emergency.

“Absolutely amazing dog sitters. They were incredibly friendly and conscientious about Sunny while he stayed there. Also the daily updates were very thorough and always made us feel informed on how Sunny was doing.”

“This is Jojo's second time staying with Weslyn, and once again she has taken awesome care of him and has provided daily updates. She kept me informed and gave Jojo plenty of exercise. I will be booking with her again.”

“We are so thankful for the amazing care our dog Mookie received! She accepted our last-minute boarding request and was incredibly communicative, kind, and accommodating from start to finish. She worked around our schedule and even cared for Mookie despite having other plans herself — truly a lifesaver for our family. She kept us updated with pictures, and Mookie looked so content and happy the entire time. When we brought him back, he was genuinely excited to see her again, which says everything about how well he was treated. We would absolutely trust her with Mookie again and highly recommend her to anyone needing pet care!”

“She was great! Kept us in the loop, sent pictures and updates! Very flexible with drop off and pick up to work around our schedules! It was a wonderful experience and will definitely use her in the future!!!”
