About: I've had pets for as long as I can remember and I'm that person that will go out of my way to make sure an animal is happy and content. Family, friends and neighbors fully entrust me with the care and transport of their pets and can rest their minds because they know their pet is in good hands. I send texts, pics and any other updates of how their beloved furry family member is doing while they're away. One time I was watching my friend's senior cat while she was away. We lived in very rural Alaska at the time where the nearest vet was a 3 hour drive. He was fine for the first couple of days, then out of nowhere he became very lethargic. Low energy and wasn't eating. I noticed a rather large, soft lump on his head between his ears which I thought to be an abscess. I reached into my background as a medical assistant and decided to drain the fluid. Once I did, he jumped back to his old self... purrring, playing, eating. Yes, I know taking him to the vet is the best option, but sometimes you do what needs to be done. While I love both cats and dogs and am willing to care for both, the dog would have to be the right fit. Meaning, due to my injury, I'm not able to go on runs like I used to or long walks. I am currently recovering from an on the job injury, so my schedule is very flexible. I am available most any time aside from my physical therapy appointments once a week. Don't let my injury deter you. I am strong, mobile and more than capable of most activities minus running or long walks. I prefer taking care of pets in the comfort of their home. I am both dependable and reliable as a house/pet sitter or drop in.

About: I grew up in a big animal lover family with all kinds of pets and in turn have always been responsible for my part in taking care of them, starting at a young age. Currently my husband and I only have one adorable cat named Honeybee. We found her as a stray while visiting my home town in Florida. I also attended a veterinary assisting program in high school as well as interned in a veterinary clinic. If you have a sick, older furry friend, or puppies who need a little extra care I have experience with that and don't mind taking those extra steps for their comfort. My husband and I are both active duty military, depending on what shift we are on for that week our schedule can change. But typically we are gone from our house for 9 hours during the week days. The rest of the time we usually are just chilling. If I'm caring for your pet, my attention during my free time will 100% go to them. As someone who has handled a variety of pets and has a cat, I understand that each pet has their own little quirks. Therefore I can easily adapt to any need your fur babies require to make them feel safe and comfortable.

About: I have been dog sitting for people since I was in my early teens. One of my repeat sits was a reactive german shepherd, and his overexcited sister. After the initial few minutes of him getting used to me, we never had a problem. I am confident with both dogs and cats, am able to give medicine, and have a good attitude. I am currently not working, so I would be able to dedicate whatever time necessary fully to whatever pet I am taking care of. My life would revolve around their schedule. I will do potty breaks and playtime based off of what the environment looks like, (ie fenced yard or not, is it -40°). I would do walks exclusively with a leash.

About: I have taken care of my friend’s dogs the past few years and finally got my first one of my own earlier this summer. It has been so much fun and I would love to spend more time with animals. I am happy to come hang out at your home, take them on my daily walk/run/hike, or have them help me tire out my puppy if appropriate! I am taking some time off this summer and so I have quite a bit of free time. I am a travel nurse who loves hiking, camping, paddleboarding, and any and all adventures! I am available from early mornings to late evenings right now and would love to spend my time hanging out with your babies! I unfortunately cannot board dogs in my own home due to my living situation, but am happy to drop by for walks/potty breaks, house sit, or even pick up your dog for a day of adventures!

About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends and families since I was a kid. I love dogs and enjoy the lovely chaos puppers bring! Dogs of all ages are welcome! For puppies I can help with potty training and crate training if needed. I will walk them at 5:00am-quick potty when waking up 7:30am-30 min walk 1200pm-15 to 20 min walk/potty break 5:00- 30 min walk/potty break 8:00- last break of the night I currently live in a gated community, I have a reliable veterinarian as well as access to 24/hr veterinarian care in case should anything happens.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was able to drive on my own! I’ve had my own dogs my whole life, but since I just moved here and had to leave them behind, i’m looking to get my dog fix in, while helping y’all out! :) I work full time, but my job is super flexible, so i’d be able to stop by and check in on your pups throughout the day, as needed. I do have base access as well. I will take every safety precaution necessary to keep your puppy safe and comfortable. I prefer to keep dogs in their own environment because it is usually beneficial for them, but I do have a pet friendly townhome if needed!

About: Hi, my name is Alexis! I’ve owned pets all my life! I have had numerous experience pet sitting before with various families. I can’t wait to watch and help you in any way with your pets! Your pet will be in great experiences hands! My prior experience was with smaller breed dogs, yet the largest dog I’ve personally taken care of is a St. Bernard/Standard Poodle mix! My family currently owns a lasso mix and a pure breed Yorkshire terroir! I will be as flexible/availability as possible in my schedule and will be on a first come first serve basis. I am currently only available to take care of pets in clients home, yet I will be happy to follow any and all directions you have for your furry friend. My schedule varies inflexibility, however I am always happy to communicate about your pet sitting needs. I am available to do drop ins, sitting in clients homes, and dog walking. I keep a careful eye while animals go outside to play in the backyard or use the bathroom, clients with fences help keep their animals in a safe and trusted space. Also, I am able to use any kennels/gated area that your animal is familiar with to help keep their safety a priority!

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats my whole life, and am adaptable to any furry friend’s needs. My specialized experience includes caring for a Great Dane on a specialized diet and a blind black Labrador who loved to play fetch. I’ve also cared for toy breeds, including feeding, walking, and administering oral medications. I am currently not working, so I am able to stop by almost any time of day. I prefer to have Friday evenings off but am willing to accommodate if I am given a few days notice. I have experience staying overnight at friends and family’s homes while taking care for their pets, and have no issue staying up late or waking early for a pet’s needs. I also welcome lots of playtime or snuggles if needed.

About: Growing up, I took care of two medium husky mixed dogs. I would walk, feed, and care for them for the 5 years that they lived in our home. In high school and college, I periodically dog sat and cared for cats of family friends. I have always loved the company of animals and have experience with all sizes and ages. In my senior year, I cared for an elderly dog who was blind. It was so rewarding to help this dog in its final years of life. I now own 2 cats and I love every minute I get to spend with them. I take very seriously the responsibility of caring for animals and have plenty of experience doing so! Currently, I am not attending school so I am completely available for house sitting, dog walking, and drop-ins at any time in the week! I have no preference for the time of day and am very flexible with my scheduling. I am able to house pets in my own home. I am completely available to do house visits and care for the pets in-home. I love to take walks with dogs to give them adequate exercise. I am very respectful when entering client homes and would give as much time as needed to keep pets company and give affection while you are away from the home.

About: Ten years as a veterinary doctor, lifetime as an animal lover and guardian. Friends and clients describe me as someone who brings a calm, genuine warmth to every interaction. I enjoy both the quiet process of connecting with anxious pets and the exciting challenge of keeping active working dogs gainfully employed. I set my availability to coordinate with days when I am not on shift, so I will be home full-time and adaptable to your furry/feathered/scaled friend's schedule during their stay. For my own pup, I usually dedicate a total of one hour to training (split into a few dispersed sessions throughout the day) and 1-2 hours for exercise and adventures, in addition to potty walks. I am happy to provide the same for my guests, adjusted as needed to accommodate their individual needs. My home is on 5 acres at the end of a road in the hills. The area is very quiet, however I keep my guests on-leash for safety, as the yard is not fenced. I am happy to care for pets who have special needs, including administration of medications prescribed by your veterinarian. While I do not offer primary veterinary care to my boarding guests, my credentials and experience provide the assurance that your friend is in uniquely capable hands in the event of an emergency.

About: Greetings!! I'm a professional and outgoing pet caregiver with 18+ years of experience. I'm currently taking classes on animal behavior, problems and solutions, and dog emotion & cognition. My goal is to make you feel like you can have it all; a pet who's well cared for and safe at all times AND the freedom to travel and spend time away when you cannot bring your beloved 4-legged companion with you. Please let me know if your dog or cat needs medication, has any allergies, has specific anxieties (such as separation), or if there are any other special considerations that may make our time together be more relaxing for your pup (or kitty.) I love to play with animals and always include play-time and pet-time with my visits, unless otherwise preferred. I will treat your fur-babies as if they were my own! :) I usually do a walk in the morning and at night, and play ball daily with dogs who like to fetch. I go on longer walks in nature a couple times a week with my dog and will take your dog too if they like car rides! I try to play with kitties at least an hour-ish a day and will pet your kitty as much as they'll let me! I try to get in a good brushing for all the animals during my stay if there's a brush available. I'll let your animals sleep in the bed if that's something that they're used to. I love snuggling with animals! My long time partner Tim has been helping me with sits since I started working days again. This makes it so your animals can have help if I am having a long work day. It also makes walks easier if you have more than 2 dogs that need walking at the same time! And provides ample play time in case I have to work on my computer. If I intend to have him help on a sit I will tell you beforehand and make sure you get the opportunity to meet each other!

About: Veterinary Technician since 1998 specializing in dogs, horses, large animal, exotics, special needs, and large properties! I've been pet sitting as a side gig since becoming a Vet Tech in 1998. Then I was a full time pet sitter across the country from 2006 through 2020. We've always had animals and I grew up around a lot of horses. I have an animal nutrition degree and animal behavior degree, setting me apart of from many other sitters. I also have a cohort sometimes, my Mother, she likes to join me on hikes when in town visiting. She has always loved visiting me during pet sits when she can and has her own pet sits she does now too back in her home state. She's where my never-ending love and respect for animals comes from! I'm a perfectionist and detail oriented person, and uphold your routines and rules to the best of my ability, while also giving your critters plenty of attention and love. I'm all about CUSTOM! Whatever you need for your pets needs, I'm here to help! Feeding, behavior, training, special needs... all things I can manage and help with. I split time between Aurora season in Fairbanks, and Bear Viewing season in Homer, Alaska. In fairbanks I work nights doing aurora tours and photography... generally 3 or 4 nights per week, from 9pm to 3am, about 6 hours. From September through December I usually work 3 nights per week. In Homer I work 6 days per week from 6am to 3pm, June through August. Otherwise, I'm a homebody, happy to be where the Furry critters are! All of my jobs are pet friendly, so special pet needs can be accommodated. In Fairbanks with minor exceptions, I would come to your home! My landlord is dog friendly, as a foster home for dogs themselves, but the property is not super dog friendly without a fenced yard. I'm happy to drive within 100 miles of Fairbanks to come and care for your loved ones.
