I have a flexible part-time schedule, so I can give your pets plenty of attention and stick closely to their routines. I have one well-behaved dog at home, but most of the care I provide will be in your home so your pets can stay in their familiar environment. I always follow your instructions for feeding, routines, and house rules, and I take the time to make sure each pet feels safe and relaxed. I treat every home with respect and every pet like family.

“I was very anxious about leaving our frail elderly kitty with medical issues, but she did really well under Sarah's care. When we had our meet and greet she was immediately comfortable with her and I could see Sarah knows how to approach a cat. Sarah was able to keep up her routine of multiple topical medications every day while we were gone, which is truly a negotiation process with our girl. We were thrilled and comforted to see pictures of her relaxing on Sarah's lap during her visits. Highly recommend.”

About: I loved working on ranches and dog sitting throughout my highschool and college time. I have always enjoyed getting out with the animals to make sure they are feeling energized! I have a fairly flexible schedule at this time. I would be able to let the dogs out or take them on a walk early afternoon. I’m able to take the dogs out on walks fairly often if I am living near. I also would be able to crate the puppy easily and take them on walks throughout the day.

“To be honest, I'm disappointed with my experience. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I feel it's important to provide honest feedback. I don't believe this sitter was particularly comfortable with cats. Some of the photos she sent actually concerned me, as my cats appeared stressed or unwell in several of them. She also allowed my cats onto the kitchen counter, which is not acceptable in my home. Additionally, she sent photos showing rugs and their harnesses knocked off counters and out of place. I had to point out that things had fallen and needed to be picked up before they were even addressed. When I returned home, the harnesses were still left in front of the door. Caring for my cats is a very straightforward job. They have an automatic litter box, automatic water fountain, and automatic feeder, so daily responsibilities are minimal - wet food, a treat, and try to get them to play. Unfortunately, the lack of attention to detail and effort was noticeable. I've used Rover before and had wonderful experiences with cat sitters who kept me updated with thoughtful messages, photos of my cats enjoying treats, playing with toys, giving me their arrival and departure notifications, and observations that helped put my mind at ease while I was away. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I received this time. Communication was sparse, and I felt like I was hearing very little from someone who was regularly entering my home and caring for pets that are incredibly important to me. The daily updates felt generic and lacked the level of care, engagement, and reassurance I was expecting.”

When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize keeping them comfortable by following their normal routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications, and any training or household rules you have in place. At home, my own dogs follow a consistent daily routine with regular potty breaks, meals, walks, playtime, and plenty of rest. I'll do my best to keep your pet's day as familiar and stress-free as possible while you're away. I'll also provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I have a pet I love and I want to treat others the way I would want someone to treat my dog. That’s what I do! I work 3 min from my house and have the ability to come home regularly to let my dog out and or work from home as needed. I like to walk, bathe (they are in my house) play and snuggle with pets. My dog also enjoys socializing and we walk to the dog park to play regularly.
