“This was my first time using Rover, and I must say that Lindsey was exceptional. She came to our house a few days before our trip to meet our cat. This showed a lot of care to me. She checked in each day, and provided pictures and a narrative to us about how our cat was doing. She even brought in our packages, which I was grateful for. I would highly recommend Lindsey. She took great, loving care of our cat and gave us a lot of peace of mind! Thanks Lindsey!”

“Katie was great with our cats and made us feel at ease. She was very professional and timely timely and kept us updated! I highly recommend working with Katie!”

“This was our second booking with Amanda! We were supposed to come home from our trip, but our flight was canceled and we couldn't leave for 3 days. I reached out to Amanda to see if we could rebook a few more days, and she immediately left to go check on my cats! I have appreciated her help so much! Also, I forgot on my precious review, but she even gave my kitties some Christmas catnip toys she made! Seriously the best sitter and great photos and visit recaps each day!”

“Brianne was wonderful with drop-in visits for our three pups over a long weekend! She sent us pictures and hung out with them for the full time every single visit, and everyone looked calm and happy throughout. Communication was great, including arranging some schedule changes and medications to manage one of our dog's weather anxiety (but she was already on top of it anyway!). Really appreciate and recommend her!”

“Ashley did a great job checking in on Halibut. She sent us pictures of her everyday and was prompt about checking in and out. Thank you and will be rebooking in the future!”

“Would definitely recommend Shannon for pet sitting! She takes great care of our two cats when we go on vacation and has been reliable and friendly. 10 out of 10.”

“Sarah was very kind, attentive, and communicative. I contacted her last minute when I had a family emergency and she was very understanding and accommodating. She sent updates every day and I returned home to happy, well-fed and cared for cats. I 100% recommend working with Sarah!”

“Erica took great care of my cats! She made sure my cat took his medicine and that everyone got food and playtime. Would definitely book again”

About: I started by housesitting for my dad’s coworker 10 years ago, I cared for her plants, turtles and snakes. later on I cared for a golden retriever and the 2 cats he lived with. the dog stayed at my place but the cats remained at the owners house. I am getting into running and would love to take your dog with to help motivate myself. I’m also happy to help check in during daytimes when you’re out. I am very detail oriented so if there is a special routine for your pet I will follow it dutifully. I’m currently working at a sub shop in town, shifts usually run 4-6hours. I run in the morning before noon and I spend the rest of the day working on commissions. I’ll be able to care for your animals before and after shifts. During your work hours I am happy to visit, play/hang out for a few hours and give them at least 2 bathroom breaks during a regular shift. I can be flexible with care as I know every pet is different and I am happy to talk with you and come to a special plan for your pet if you prefer.
“Dorian was fantastic with my three cats, he was easy to communicate with, providing detailed and fun updates (and pictures!) each day, and making sure that they all my pets received appropriate attention. My kitties had a great time and he was so thoughtful with playing with my high energy kitten, and then giving my older guys extra love and treats. I trust him to watch my house and pets any time, and I'm looking forward to working with him in the future, thank you Dorian!”

“Cassidy was amazing! Great with communicating and took amazing care of my pets and my house while I was out of town. I will definitely use her again in the future if she is available and I highly recommend her to others. Hands down the best pet sitter I’ve had so far.”

About: I’ve worked with and lived around dogs nearly my whole life. I’ve helped my grandpa with his dog grooming shop over the summers and cared for family dogs including things like walking, training, grooming, and feeding when necessary. I work a part time job that can get quite busy sometimes, but no stress! your pet will always come first to an extra double shift. My schedule comes out weekly, so some things may change from time to time but it is a priority to not let that get in the way of any pet care. I am open on the weekends during the afternoon, easy for drop-ins or quick walks! I have a nice big fenced backyard, perfect for any dog not big on walks or dog parks. I have two dogs, one big, one little. the little is amazing company and goes along with whatever the vibe is. She could be a great buddy for your pup to go on a play date with! The big one may be a bit reactive at first, no aggression just barking and anxiety that usually goes away after a while, but she usually prefers to be alone. Because of this I am looking for jobs other than boarding for the most part. I have a small crate in my car for safe travel with little dogs, so driving around or going out to a specific location for a field trip is an option for puppies and small breeds!
About: I truly focus on keeping pets comfortable by caring for them right in their own home, where they feel safest and most relaxed. I have a flexible part-time schedule, so I can give your pets plenty of attention and stick closely to their routines. I’m patient, confident, and experienced with a variety of temperaments—from playful puppies to shy or anxious dogs. My own dog is well-behaved, which has helped me learn how to reinforce good manners and calmly handle different situations. I treat every pet like they’re my own and pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and fully committed to giving your pets the best possible care. Because I work part-time, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to focus on your pets throughout the day. I’m available most afternoons and evenings during the week, along with full availability on weekends for boarding or drop-ins. Your pet’s routine will always be my priority. I have one well-behaved dog at home, but most of the care I provide will be in your home so your pets can stay in their familiar environment. I always follow your instructions for feeding, routines, and house rules, and I take the time to make sure each pet feels safe and relaxed. I treat every home with respect and every pet like family.

My calendar fills up quickly from both Rover and outside bookings, but please do not hesitate to reach out even if I have dates booked on my calendar! All funds that I receive from petsitting are put towards getting my own horse and saving for veterinary school. I am incredibly grateful for your trust and support. I am a student at UAA, currently work at a vet clinic, and have several outside commitments in preparation for vet school, so my schedule can get busy! However, I always make sure your pets is a priority, and am more than happy to discuss my scheduling in very specific detail with you. I completely understand if your pets needs do not align with my schedule, but would love to touch base to see if we could make it work! Weekends are my best availability, but I specialize in staying at your home so that your animal has the comfort and familiarity of somewhere they know! I prefer to stay overnight to ensure as much care and time can be given to them, which works well with my class and work schedule because I can stop by and check on your babies multiple times a day! Your pet always comes first. I prefer to watch animals in your own home because it is somewhere they are comfortable and familiar with! Whether it’s cuddles, frisbee, or a good long walk, anything your pet needs it will get! Spoiling your babies while you’re away eases the burden of you being gone, and I will do absolutely everything to make sure your pets are as comfortable as possible.
About: I have two dogs of my own that I’ve raised since they were puppies, so I understand the full range of care from early training to senior needs. My oldest dog is 11 and my youngest is 8. This gives me experience with all ranges of dog care from puppy routines, basic training, and providing extra patience and comfort for aging dogs. I treat every pet like my own and focus on creating a safe, calm, and consistent environment so they feel comfortable while you’re away. As a teacher on summer vacation, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. This allows me to be available for consistent visits, walks, and extra attention to meet each pet’s individual needs. I care for pets by following their usual routines as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. In both my home and a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, get plenty of exercise, and receive lots of attention and affection.
About: 4.5 years of vet med experience, I have 4 dogs and 1 cat myself, I often dog sit for my boyfriends 4 dogs as well. I have gotten all current 4 of mine as puppies. I did have one senior dog. I know how to pill a dog if that’s needed. I work Monday-Friday and I’m gone usually from 8:15am-6:30pm during the week. I stay home with the pups on the weekends. Mine are left alone not kenneled but I have plenty of baby gates up if we need to separate them at all. I have a fenced in back yard with lots of room for them to run around and go potty. I use baby gates on every bedroom door and they are kept shut while I’m gone. Mine are not kenneled but I can kennel yours if you prefer. There’s an option of not kenneling them but keeping them in the down stairs living room area that’s confined with a tall baby gate, away from mine. I know how to give meds and if they let me I could possibly trim their nails as well.

We had such a great experience with our pet sitter, Lucy! She took amazing care of our kitties, Dumbo and Lizzie, while we were away. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. Lucy was attentive, reliable, and clearly cared about making sure our pets felt comfortable and loved. We came home to two happy animals and everything in perfect order. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate sitter!
