I can work with your schedule and I’m eager to meet new clients I'm careful to protect your security while you are away. Your privacy is very important. I will visit your pets to keep them healthy and put them at ease while you are away.
About: I’ve spent my life around animals, including time as a dog mushing handler, so I know how to manage high-energy breeds and diverse personalities. Now, I’m passing those skills down to my 11-year-old daughter, teaching her about pet care. When your dog is with us, they get all the attention they need plus the extra play and affection of my helpful daughter. My one-year-old baby girl also joins the fun sometimes. Making our family a perfect fit for dogs who like kids and belly rubs. We offer a structured, supervised, and incredibly loving environment where your pet is treated like one of our own! for peace of mind, I always confirm with owners if it is okay to bring my kiddos along. I am still okay with walking and dropping in on pets if my kids have to stay home. We can discuss all particulars one on one. I also encourage doing meet and greats to make sure its a good fit for us all. For dog walking, I’m available Sunday and Wednesday mornings until 11am, and all day on Thursdays and Fridays. Drop‑ins are currently available on Thursdays and Fridays. If you need a different time within these days, just message me — I can manually enter custom times and often accommodate outside my listed hours With my background as a former dog mushing handler, safety and structure are my second nature. During check-ins and walks, I use my experience to keep every outing controlled and fun. My 11-year-old daughter assists me as she learns the ropes of pet responsibility, and my one-year-old often joins us in her stroller. Because my girls are a big part of this journey, we only care for dogs who are comfortable and friendly around children and babies. We treat every pet with the same care we give our own family—focusing on fresh water, consistent routines, and lots of positive reinforcement. You can trust that your home will be respected and your dog will return from their walk happy, tired, and well-loved!
About: Hi!! Born and raised in Alaska, I have my way down south to play soccer and study at Wingate University! A little bit about me - I had a dog for 18 years of my life and have taken care of every kind of dog (and other pets) since I was about 14. I LOVE animals and treat the ones I care for like my very own, which brings me not only joy but a lot of repeat customers! I also have experience fostering puppies/dogs. To add, I have experience with senior dogs and administering medicines. I am also very active and love getting outside/playing with your pets! I am a student athlete at Wingate University, however my schedule in the spring is fairly light. I have a couple classes in the morning and then am free for a couple hours during the day until practice at 4pm that usually lasts about 1-2 hours. I am completely free in the evening after that! Pet care would fit into my weekly routine per request of the client. Drop ins, walks, or check ins would be very doable, realistic, and enjoyable for me to do throughout the week! I care for the pets as I would care for my own. I take notes and make sure to follow all the clients requests about food, boundaries, behaviors, and anything else that is necessary. I also love to keep in touch with the client by sending them pictures/updates of their fur babies, especially if I am watching them for an extended period of time. If the client wanted to meet me prior to allowing me to care for their dog, I would gladly do so!
“Paulina did so great with our pups! Finding a dog lover we can trust is hard when you think no one can love your pup the way you do. I highly recommend her services if your pet needs love, care, playtime, or just a walk when you can't be there! She also took the most adorable pictures and sends us detailed messages! I will be booking again with Paulina!”

“Ashley was great! We planned a last min day trip and she was able to check in on our fur kiddos no problem. Both were happy when we got home. 😊”

About: **I travel a lot so don’t let my profile location deter you! I’ve travelled all over to sit and also travel on my own and am willing to use any excuse to travel :) I'm a professional, fun, and responsible traveling sitter! I've been petsitting for over 20 years now and have loved every minute of it! Several years ago I quit my corporate job to be able to travel and pet sit. I've been so fortunate that I've been able to travel all over the country spending time with incredible pets! I am enjoying the freedom of life so I'm willing to travel all over the US to petsit, so message me about sitting, no matter where you are located! As well as dogs and cats, I have cared for chickens, rabbits, birds, reptiles, small rodents, and horses. What started as a "favor" to a coworker, has turned into over 2 decades of happiness, fun, and adventures in pet and house sitting! I have been highly sought after for my services and have even been flown around the country to care for pets. I love dogs and cats and completely understand how important it is to make them feel safe and loved while their family is away. I'm also well versed in what it takes to keep a house running while owners are away. I happily take care of any chores, ranging from tending of gardens to mail pickup. The care level I’ve given has varied from puppy house training, to older pets requiring advanced medical treatment. I have also volunteered and fostered with animal rescue for over 15 years, so I have dealt with a variety of dog behavioral issues. I've fostered dogs ranging from 4 week old bottle fed puppies to dogs recovering from traumatic surgeries. I'm a clean, respectable, and responsible adult. I'm a non-smoker, non-drug user, and non-drinker. I keep a very clean house and am always respectful of my surroundings. I'm friendly, patient, caring, gentle, and get along with everyone - human and non-human :) I love being out in nature and being active, but also don't mind spending time with those pets who just enjoy lounging around the house. I like to have a "meet and greet" prior to any commitments, to ensure that you and your pets are comfortable with me, and I'm able to provide what everyone needs. I care for pets in my client’s home in the manner that the clients and pets expect. If they are used to walks, they get walks. If they enjoy pool time, they get pool time. If they typically sleep on the bed with a human, they get that :) I’m all about what the pets are typically used to and enjoy! I do small amounts of work online, have to help out with family and friends in the area on occasion, and do have some drop-in and walking clients, but besides those small commitments, my time is dedicated to the animals I’m caring for. I’m all about the pet’s schedule and can usually accommodate it very well! I care for pets in the client’s home in hopefully the same manner they do! I want to learn and follow the pets’ routines and schedules so that clients returning home have a flawless transition.
About: Spreading love and care to my community is a privilege I take seriously. I’ll take care of any animal as if they were my own. I’m available daily to care for any pet needs. I’m available during the week and weekends. Let me know your pets needs and I’ll be happy to provide loving care. My past pets are spoiled rotten. Your fur babies will be too. All fur babies will be nurtured and cared for to a T as if they were my own.
About: Thank you so much for your consideration and reading my profile! I am comfortable with animals of all sizes large and small! I’ve worked as a ranch hand and ridden horses for many years and have a special love for them. I am a NAVTA certified veterinary assistant, a fear free certified handler, have dog/cat first aid + CPR certification, currently work at a general practice veterinary clinic, and have countless of hours of experience of petsitting, shelter work, and more, so you can rest assured your babies are in good hands! I know all about the quirks and special things needed to make all kinds of animals happy ♥️ I am typically very flexible with your needs! The information on here is not set in stone and I pride myself in being affordable and reliable while providing exceptional pet care. My calendar fills up quickly from both Rover and outside bookings, but please do not hesitate to reach out even if I have dates booked on my calendar! All funds that I receive from petsitting are put towards getting my own horse and saving for veterinary school. I am incredibly grateful for your trust and support. I am a student at UAA, currently work at a vet clinic, and have several outside commitments in preparation for vet school, so my schedule can get busy! However, I always make sure your pets is a priority, and am more than happy to discuss my scheduling in very specific detail with you. I completely understand if your pets needs do not align with my schedule, but would love to touch base to see if we could make it work! Weekends are my best availability, but I specialize in staying at your home so that your animal has the comfort and familiarity of somewhere they know! I prefer to stay overnight to ensure as much care and time can be given to them, which works well with my class and work schedule because I can stop by and check on your babies multiple times a day! Your pet always comes first. I prefer to watch animals in your own home because it is somewhere they are comfortable and familiar with! Whether it’s cuddles, frisbee, or a good long walk, anything your pet needs it will get! Spoiling your babies while you’re away eases the burden of you being gone, and I will do absolutely everything to make sure your pets are as comfortable as possible.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
