About: Roughly two years ago, I received a call from a colleague asking to house sit for a weekend after a previous bad experience with boarding two dogs. Both with health issues and one of them not sociable with other dogs. My colleague came back to a clean home, garden watered, mail organized and the dogs very well loved and walked everyday. Ever since, I have housesat for anywhere from 48hrs to nearly 30 days at a time with zero issues. Bed time rituals, feeding songs, walking a slightly reactive dog, cuddling very closely at night were the priorities at the top of the to-do list. Now that two years have passed since that first call I have decided to try my hand at truly making dog walking/house sitting/drop-in playdates a side gig! I work 12hrs a day, rotating weeks 3 days or 4 days a week. Typically Wednesday/Thursday-Saturday off every week. I am up early most mornings in my time off, can make myself available for late nights Wednesday-Friday as well. In your home, I will follow all requests diligently, check all doors and windows before leaving or before bed. I am MANDT de-escalation trained, CPR/BLS certified and will soon be training to further my EMS-adjacent skillsets. In emergencies, I understand the importance of prioritizing the fur babies and keeping them out of harm’s way.

About: As a longtime dog owner with three dogs of my own, I have hands-on experience caring for different personalities, energy levels, and daily routines. I also care for a diabetic senior dog, so I understand how important consistency, patience, close observation, and dependable care are—especially for older pets or those with additional needs. Since retiring from the Air Force, I have a flexible, open schedule that allows me to make pet care a regular part of my day. I’m available throughout the morning, afternoon, and evening for walks and drop-in visits, including many weekends. Because I’m not trying to squeeze visits around a full-time job, I can give your pet my full attention, arrive reliably, and maintain a consistent routine. I also have flexibility for recurring visits and reasonable last-minute requests. For walks and drop-in visits, I will carefully follow your pet’s normal routine and all instructions you provide. I’ll confirm that doors, gates, collars, harnesses, and leashes are secure, and I will never allow a dog off-leash unless we are in a safely enclosed area and you have specifically approved it. During drop-ins, I can provide fresh food and water, bathroom breaks, playtime, companionship, and approved medications according to your instructions.

I provide in-home boarding seven days a week, including weekends. Your dog will have access to a fully fenced yard, regular exercise, and a structured but relaxed home environment. I have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor time and always supervise dogs while they’re outside. About: Ive had dogs in my life for just about all of it. I figured why not walk dogs and make some side cash while I walk around. Taking care of pets and walking dogs is more of just a part time thing I'm doing to pass the time and get to hang out with animals. Before I moved to Anchorage my family had 4 dogs that I took care of on a daily basis. I always make sure the dog is secured to a lease before I bring them out. Currently on a part time seasonal schedule with more time going to be available in the winter. Figured this would be a great way to stay active and outside while going into the winter months I've have plenty of experience with dogs and their care growing up in northwest Alaska. My siblings and I all had dogs growing up from newborn pups to our fathers dog that lived until he was 21.

About: I've had dogs for as long as I can remember, and I've always loved spending time with animals. I'm separating from the Air Force in August and will be attending school online, so I'm looking to work with fellow JBER families and help busy service members keep their dogs active without giving up what little free time they have. Whether your dog needs a walk, a run, playtime, or just some extra attention during the day, I'm happy to help. I'm also happy to learn and use your dog's commands to reinforce any training you're working on, so they'll get consistent care no matter who's home. I am starting online school and will be available starting 24 August for day-time walks and exercising! About: I got a golden doodle when I was very young. Ever since then I’ve had a huge love for dogs and all animals. I’ve grown up with one, we got a second one shortly after. We basically had a mini farm at home, including ducks and bunnies. Once I moved out of my parents house I got a cat and a border collie/Australian Shepherd mix. I’ve been around animals all of my life. And I couldn’t imagine life without them. I work a full-time job Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with an hour lunch. I work Fridays from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. I usually go home for lunch to make sure all pets are cared for. After work, I usually stay home for the rest of the night. I live in an apartment on the second floor with a balcony. It is a very safe environment. And cozy place. It is in a closed balcony, so there is no risks of animals falling off. I have two different windows that are big and both open for fresh air.

About: I have loved most animals for as long as I can remember. I am very compassionate towards animals and feel love and concern when I see a lost or unloved animal. I have pet and house sat for two families who came back to me multiple times. I am always willing to adjust my usual routine to make the owners and their furry family members comfortable. I sat for a friend once who requested that I keep their large, fluffy husky mix in my car whenever I left the house. My priority will always be keeping your furbabies happy, healthy, safe, and comfortable. Last, but certainly not least, I have two dogs of my own who I treat as if they were my own children. I am always thinking of how I would want other humans to treat them when I decide how to work with someone else's pets. During the summer, my pet care will be my highest priority. During the school year (mid August through late December and mid January through late May) I work as a teaching assistant and must prioritize that but I would endeavor to schedule all non-work related activities around the needs of the pet and their family. As I have two dogs of my own neither of which get along well with other dogs, I would not be able to care for another pet in my own home, but I am always willing to stay in another home if pets require constant supervision. I would always follow any instructions regarding pet care given me by the owners. If clear instructions are not given to me, I will ask questions and I will simply do my best to make the pet comfortable and not to change their routine more than absolutely necessary.
