I come from an agriculture background, which has allowed me to care for all kinds of pets. Most importantly, I’ve cared for cats & dogs during all their life stages. From puppies and kittens to senior dogs and cats — I know what it takes to administer love and care during all developmental stages of life! My heart is full when I get to see either a happy dog tail-wag or a purrfectly content cat make biscuits. I’ll work with your dog to improve their commands and get their daily zoomies out; your cat will enjoy company and stimulating feline friendly games. I’ll also have their bathroom and medical needs taken care of. I make sure to provide a safe environment for everyone. I will care for your pet according to your instructions. If I am at your home, I will abide by your house rules and care for your pet accordingly. I have a flexible schedule, so I can work with your schedule to best serve your family! At this time I am not hosting animals in my home. I will do house visits and walks. I prefer to take your pet on routes they are familiar with to start. After getting to know your pet, I can take them on walks in new environments to encourage new training opportunities. Please disclose if your pet has ever been aggressive or experiences severe anxiety behaviors. I want to provide a safe environment for your fur baby and myself by being aware of any sensitivities or triggers. Your pet will receive top care while being set-up for success when spending time with me! Book with me & I’ll help make your life a little less stressful — your pet has a friend in me! I have a very flexible schedule and can take care of your pets in the afternoon or evenings during Monday-Friday. With ample notice, I can even take care of your pet in the mornings Monday-Friday. On weekends, I can take care of your pet at any time! I’ll make sure to provide a safe environment for everyone. I will care for your pet according to your instructions. If I am at your home, I will abide by your house rules and care for your pet accordingly. Your pet will be safe and cared for in my care.

About: I've had dogs since I was born on and off for the past twenty six years. I have fallen in love with all of fur babies. Im very attentive and mindful of dog behaviors. And we'll adapt to the situation when needed. I am on a sabbatical and am looking for some adventure. With a passion for animals this is my perfect avenue to find that adventure. About: I have loved most animals for as long as I can remember. I am very compassionate towards animals and feel love and concern when I see a lost or unloved animal. I have pet and house sat for two families who came back to me multiple times. I am always willing to adjust my usual routine to make the owners and their furry family members comfortable. I sat for a friend once who requested that I keep their large, fluffy husky mix in my car whenever I left the house. My priority will always be keeping your furbabies happy, healthy, safe, and comfortable. Last, but certainly not least, I have two dogs of my own who I treat as if they were my own children. I am always thinking of how I would want other humans to treat them when I decide how to work with someone else's pets. During the summer, my pet care will be my highest priority. During the school year (mid August through late December and mid January through late May) I work as a teaching assistant and must prioritize that but I would endeavor to schedule all non-work related activities around the needs of the pet and their family. As I have two dogs of my own neither of which get along well with other dogs, I would not be able to care for another pet in my own home, but I am always willing to stay in another home if pets require constant supervision. I would always follow any instructions regarding pet care given me by the owners. If clear instructions are not given to me, I will ask questions and I will simply do my best to make the pet comfortable and not to change their routine more than absolutely necessary.

About: Roughly two years ago, I received a call from a colleague asking to house sit for a weekend after a previous bad experience with boarding two dogs. Both with health issues and one of them not sociable with other dogs. My colleague came back to a clean home, garden watered, mail organized and the dogs very well loved and walked everyday. Ever since, I have housesat for anywhere from 48hrs to nearly 30 days at a time with zero issues. Bed time rituals, feeding songs, walking a slightly reactive dog, cuddling very closely at night were the priorities at the top of the to-do list. Now that two years have passed since that first call I have decided to try my hand at truly making dog walking/house sitting/drop-in playdates a side gig! I work 12hrs a day, rotating weeks 3 days or 4 days a week. Typically Wednesday/Thursday-Saturday off every week. I am up early most mornings in my time off, can make myself available for late nights Wednesday-Friday as well. In your home, I will follow all requests diligently, check all doors and windows before leaving or before bed. I am MANDT de-escalation trained, CPR/BLS certified and will soon be training to further my EMS-adjacent skillsets. In emergencies, I understand the importance of prioritizing the fur babies and keeping them out of harm’s way.

About: I am a Certified Veterinary Technician with many years of experience in the veterinary field and a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, giving me a strong background in animal care and behavior. I have raised and cared for dogs for over 20 years and love playing, walking, pottying, and spending quality time with them. I am also trained to help animals in emergency situations. My dog, Pico de Gallo, is the love of my life, and I would treat your dog/cat/animal with the same care, patience, and love as if they were my own. I work for myself, so any animal that needs care would be worked into my schedule. I can do stop-ins, walks, play time, anything that is needed for your pets to be taken care of. As my calendar fills up, I ensure the times requested for pets come first before overloading my schedule. I would take care of pets in my clients' homes. I would do potty breaks and ensure the house was not used. I would take the dogs for walks and play with them to burn off some energy before bringing them back home, if the owner allowed it. I would also feed and make sure they drank water before I left, updating the owner on how they are doing. Otherwise, I would utilize the spaces given to me ( a fenced yard, etc.). For cats, I would check in on them and make sure they are fed and watered. i would play with them with their toys and then update their owner on how they are doing.

About: I have 2 puppies, one is a year old and the other is 7 months! I have dog sat my friend’s and family members dogs before I moved to Montana! I haven’t had much experience with cats but I would love to start! I usually walk my dogs twice a day and I feel like walking other dogs during those days would be so fun! About: Ive had dogs in my life for just about all of it. I figured why not walk dogs and make some side cash while I walk around. Taking care of pets and walking dogs is more of just a part time thing I'm doing to pass the time and get to hang out with animals. Before I moved to Anchorage my family had 4 dogs that I took care of on a daily basis. I always make sure the dog is secured to a lease before I bring them out. Currently on a part time seasonal schedule with more time going to be available in the winter. Figured this would be a great way to stay active and outside while going into the winter months I've have plenty of experience with dogs and their care growing up in northwest Alaska. My siblings and I all had dogs growing up from newborn pups to our fathers dog that lived until he was 21.

About: I’ve spent my life around animals, including time as a dog mushing handler, so I know how to manage high-energy breeds and diverse personalities. Now, I’m passing those skills down to my 11-year-old daughter, teaching her about pet care. When your dog is with us, they get all the attention they need plus the extra play and affection of my helpful daughter. My one-year-old baby girl also joins the fun sometimes. Making our family a perfect fit for dogs who like kids and belly rubs. We offer a structured, supervised, and incredibly loving environment where your pet is treated like one of our own! for peace of mind, I always confirm with owners if it is okay to bring my kiddos along. I am still okay with walking and dropping in on pets if my kids have to stay home. We can discuss all particulars one on one. I also encourage doing meet and greats to make sure its a good fit for us all. For dog walking, I’m available Sunday and Wednesday mornings until 11am, and all day on Thursdays and Fridays. Drop‑ins are currently available on Thursdays and Fridays. If you need a different time within these days, just message me — I can manually enter custom times and often accommodate outside my listed hours With my background as a former dog mushing handler, safety and structure are my second nature. During check-ins and walks, I use my experience to keep every outing controlled and fun. My 11-year-old daughter assists me as she learns the ropes of pet responsibility, and my one-year-old often joins us in her stroller. Because my girls are a big part of this journey, we only care for dogs who are comfortable and friendly around children and babies. About: Hi! Like most of us here i’ve been looking after dogs and cats for most of my life. From my own, to family, to friends and roommates pets. Recently i had the experience of looking after an elderly dog for a friend, he was 12 and had a failing hing leg, cataracts and arthritis. His eyes required drops, and pain meds with his food. Walking him was hard, but only to see him struggle, it gave me great joy to be able to give him all of my patience and attention in love in such a difficult time. I recently moved to Anchorage and haven’t been working here yet, taking time to enjoy being able to explore and have fun with winter sports. My schedule is completely open, i have no other obligations at this time, other than taking care of my own pets We have a large backyard here that our dog can run around and play in during the potty breaks, which is great for her as she loves to run. I take Chuli with me for most all of my hikes and drives around the area.
