I'm Eleanore, I’ve always connected really well with animals, and since I can’t have pets in my apartment right now, any chance I get to look after someone else’s is incredibly rewarding. I've had animals my whole life, and as a teenager helped take care of my neighbors pets while they were away. I also have volunteered with an organization to take care of pets while they are recovering from injuries and also to help train puppies in their process of being adopted. I like to tailor care to each dog's needs, whether that is longer walks and energetic playtime or something a bit more slow-paced, I want to make sure each dog I interact with gets the care they need. From quick walks to playful sessions or simply providing a comforting presence while you’re away, I’m ready to care for your dog. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always prioritize their comfort and routine. For drop-in visits, I make sure they have fresh water, feed them according to their schedule, give them any needed potty breaks, and spend quality time playing, cuddling, or just keeping them company depending on what they enjoy most. For walks, I ensure they’re safely harnessed or leashed, take them on routes they’re comfortable with, and give them time to sniff and explore. Overall, I aim to follow their normal routine as closely as possible, keep their environment clean and safe, and communicate regularly with the owner to update them on how their pet is doing.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats personally for my whole life and professionally for almost ten years now. Friends and family rely on me to walk, feed, and sit their animal children when they are unavailable and I am happy to do so! About: Dogs: From puppies to senior dogs, I have gotten super bonded with every pup I've ever cared for - and I'm the official "dog aunt" to all my friends' fur babies! I have cared for a variety of breeds - from gentle giant bernese mountain dogs, energetic golden retriever puppies, high stimulation leash-pulling cattle dogs, cuddly corgis, velcro boston terriers, affectionate goldendoodles, anxious chihuahua rescues, deaf and blind dogs needing extra attention - to name a few. I love playing with these furry friends and taking them on walks in nature, hikes, to the beach, and on outdoor adventures - I'm physically active and can keep up with your active dogs. Also, I LOVE snuggling with your snuggly couch companions (for canine or feline friends who love to lay around and snuggle)!! I've administered medications (shots, pills, eyedrops, etc) and have cared for those who need special attention - I am highly attentive to your pet's needs & and am very emotionally attuned and responsive. Whether it's a health concern or separation anxiety or an emotional need, I'll rise to the occasion. I'm also an experienced cat sitter and will keep them safe and loved - I'll entertain your playful kittens, snuggle with your purring sweetie curled up on my lap, and give space to those slower to warm cats and read their cues as needed :) As a sitter, I am responsible, reliable, a clear communicator, conscientious, and will keep your home tidy - I'm happy to care for your houseplants, garden and home space while you're away. I have enough flexibility to come back during a lunch break to let your dog out to pee and take them on a walk, in addition to morning and evening walks. Weekends are open and would very much enjoy taking your dog out into nature for walks & hikes if they are up for it! I am happy to stay at clients' homes overnight to spend time with your pet in their familiar home environment and this has worked well. I tend to adjust to your dog's schedule and needs and get into a rhythm pretty quickly with them. Unfortunately my building doesn't allow dogs to board. Indoor cats are a possibility to board here.
