“Hannah was so great with our pups! We were so lucky she was able to come through on such short notice! Gave great updates and the boys were very happy and tuckered out when we got home!”

About: I've had experience taking care of a variety of breeds, including mixes like a Shepsky, and pure breds like Golden Retrievers and Shar Pies. These experiences also inlcuded a rescue dog that was heart worm positive that required medication and extra care, as well as a blind senior dog that required an intensive special diet and medication schedule. At the moment I have a wide variety of availability and being in between jobs I would like to take more time for things I enjoy, such as being around and caring for animals. I previously held a job working for a law enforcement agency and have worked in positions of public trust in the past, so I have passed a very complete background check as well as mutiple reference checks. I will have the utmost respect for your pet and home.

“Thanks so much Ella for watching, walking and feeding Piper! And thanks so much for taking the time to meet Piper the day before.”

“Danielle is very commendable as she has the initiative to do things without being told. For example, she secured my mails by putting it inside of my house. She threw away the trash outside every visit to prevents ants from coming back. I highly suggest booking her as her actions show that she loves animals and she does her job well. This is the second time, I booked her. As always, Danielle is amazing! Thank you Danielle for taking care of my cats and for providing reviews that surely put a smile on my face when I read them accompanied by the photos of my cute babies.🙂”

About: I’ve been taking care of my own pets as well as neighbors and friends pets for a good while now, I can also give insulin to diabetic pets I’m currently about to be a student attending community college but right now I have nothing to do so I’m available all day every day. I can feed pets at specific times or refill food and water, I can also clean up after pets and take dogs on walks if desired

About: I have a 5 year old sheltie which I started taking care of when he was 3 months old. I also have a 1 year old Ragdoll cat that I got when he was 3 months old. I work full time in tech. But I have time after work for drop in visit during weekdays and I have my weekend all day available. I love feeding my cat and dog. And I do daily brushing and cleaning litter box. I like to check my cat’s pee clump to make sure that he has taken enough water.

“Abigail is so lovely! Her heart is so big, and she shows it through puppy love! My Freya love Abigail, and we can’t wait to have her back. She followed all the instructions and reached out with any questions! I felt super comfortable having her in my home, and had no concerns at all! Freya and I are thrilled to have Abigail!”

“Kate was fantastic with our pup, Milo! She was so accommodating of our schedules, which made everything so much easier. Milo was really happy to hang out with her, and we could tell he felt comfortable and well cared for :)”

About: Hello! My name is Laura, and I'm a full-time hybrid worker who would like to meet more cats and dogs in the area. I am from a very small town in Vermont, where I grew up with various types of animals. I have always loved animals of all kinds, but especially cats and dogs. In middle school, I began to pet-sit cats, dogs, rodents, and horses for my neighbors and their friends. In High School, I started house-sitting to give animals better and longer-term care. I am very active and would love to take your dogs on walks all around North Beach and beyond. I work remotely so I have flexibility to fit your schedule. I am an early riser and start work around 7 and finish around 3. If you’re nearby I can do bathroom/walk breaks during the day. Or, I’m willing to work from your apartment to give your pet more time and attention! I do not have a yard so your home might be the better fit. That said, if you have a preference for your dog to spend time at my home that’s perfectly fine!

“Ian is amazing! I feel so lucky to have found him and that he was available over Memorial Day weekend. He dropped in 2x a day to hang out with my kitty Butternut. Ian was great in keeping Butternut engaged and cared for. He sent pictures and videos everyday which were adorable. 5 stars all around!”

About: I’ve shared life with animals for 23 years—starting with my cat Chiquita (14 wonderful years), a rescued lab-beagle Hooke, and two rambunctious pups: Tiger (adopted 4 years ago) and Lou (3 years ago). Tiger lives confidently with epilepsy, so I’m well-versed in seizure monitoring, timed oral meds, and sub-cutaneous injections when needed. Right now my own dogs are staying abroad with my husband, so caring for your pets fills that furry void. With this hands-on medical experience, I’m equally comfortable looking after seniors, puppies, and other special-needs companions. Your dog receives one-family-at-a-time attention, calm positive-reinforcement handling, and daily photo updates. Standard neighborhood walks and yard play are included; beach days, trail hikes, or extended runs can be arranged for an additional fee to cover travel and time. I work locally but not on a strict 9-to-5 clock, so pets start their day with a 7 AM walk and breakfast, get a mid-day potty break (between 12-2 PM), and enjoy a long evening adventure after 5 PM. Weekends are wide open for beach runs, parks, or lazy couch snuggles. Boarding stays include one family movie night—dogs pick the film!—and lights-out around 10 PM. I never book more animals than I can give individual attention. Your pet’s wellbeing is my top priority. I host one family at a time in a clean, smoke-free house with a fully fenced yard, so dogs (and adventurous cats!) can sniff around outdoors under my watch whenever the weather’s nice. Inside, open space, and plants are pet-safe. For outings, I’m fully kitted out—seat-belt harnesses, water packs, etc. I ask for current vaccines before booking to keep everyone healthy. You’ll get time-stamped photos and quick replies throughout your pet’s stay, so you’re never left wondering how your best friend is doing.

“She was prompt at giving us updates and truly seemed to enjoy visiting our cat”

About: I have owned both of my pups since they were 8 weeks old, as well as raised a litter until they got adopted! I have experience with small puppies, as well as big dogs like pitbulls and husky’s! I live in a house with a large, fenced off yard, so there will be plenty of opportunity for fun play-time. I also have two small dogs that are full of energy to tire your pups out during the day. All dogs are allowed to be on furniture and will get lots of love and cuddles with me and my family. Your dogs will bring me pure happiness and I will love your furry friends like they are my own! Please feel free to contact me with any questions/concerns!

About: Hi! I have been dog-sitting and walking for 5 years now and before that I have never been without a pup nearby! My house has always had at least 2 dogs (right now there are three!). I have experience with brand new puppies all the way through senior dogs. I am comfortable with puppies still working on potty training and older pups who need regular medication doses. I have a pretty spacious car to take your doggie on excursions if you would like!! I love to hike and enjoy the outdoors and would love to bring your pup with me (heat permitting). I will provide your pup with tons of exercise and attention! I have a ton of free time and availability for your pup, I won’t be working for the rest of the summer, so your dog will be my priority!! I wake up pretty early (pre 7am usually) so all potty breaks and early meals will be attended to. I am also happy to adjust my schedule per ur pups needs. I have nothing but love and patience to give your pups!! I am a major dog lover and want to make sure your pup feels that love. They are always allowed on the bed and couch for snuggle and of course can have their own space should they need it! I am an attentive caregiver and love walking and exercising dogs so they will never have a dull moment with me. I also love bringing them around on errands so long as it is not too hot and you are comfortable with it!! I am also responsive on my phone and happy to send pictures and videos so you can always reach me and your pup!!

Woodside pet parents share their Rover experiences
Nina and Leo took care of our cats for 4 weeks while we were traveling and did a great job! They flagged and helped us fix any small issues that arose (e.g. running out of food). It was calming to know our cats were in such capable hands as we traveled!

Yuzki took excellent care of our dog and maintained exemplary communication with us throughout. She is well experienced and not phased by tricky situations our goofy dog caused. Thank you, Yuzki!

Thank you for all your support while I was away. Your care for Lola went above and beyond my expectations and it gave me enormous peace of mind knowing she was in good hands :)

Valentina is awesome! She is incredibly reliable and great to my cat while I am out of town (which is way too frequently)!

Our kitty was in a great mood despite spending a week alone thanks to Tiffany's wonderful care and attention. She's always super responsive, professional, and friendly. I highly recommend Tiffany as a sitter!

Saturday was amazing! She communicated well and has a cat of her own, so she was very intuitive with Tessie and that helped a lot, especially since Tessie comes with a large instruction manual. She was very nice and took our trash out, collected packages, and gave us so much peace on our trip!

Hannah dropped in for our 7 month golden retriever puppy today and she was great! We're training our dog to eventually be a service dog so we have a lot of requests and Hannah took them really well and was happy to help us reinforce good behavior on the walks. Would highly recommend booking with her!

Dawn did a wonderful job with my hyper Golden Retriever! She also took in our packages and filled up my water fountain. She goes above and beyond and I would highly recommend her. 10/10

Once again, Yifan took great care of my cat Rhys and kept me updated with cute photos and updates! Thank you again, Yifan!

We couldn’t be happier with the care our dog received from Yueqian. From the moment we met, it was clear that she genuinely love animals and have a real passion for what they do. Our dog felt so comfortable and happy during their time together. Yueqian was punctual, reliable, and communicated with us regularly, sending us updates and pictures. We highly recommend Yueqian to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and professional dog sitter. We’ll definitely be booking her again in the future!

Sarah was efficient, communicative, and helpful! Perfect pet sitter for the drop in visits we had her do with our cat!

Miranda took great photos and seemed to take to my cats very well during her drop-in visit! Definitely recommend her for cat-sitting.

Kelsey did a great job of not only taking great care of 2 dogs but also 3 chickens and some lizards!! Definitely want to rebook with her

Heather was absolutely amazing with my two cats. I had to leave for a longer international trip with very little heads up and she was open to helping me take care of them last minute. I loved getting to know her during our meet-and-greet and even my shyer cat came out to meet her. Knowing that she was taking care of them made me a lot less nervous that the cats were alone during my trip. I would definitely recommend Heather and use her again!
