About: I grew up with multiple dogs all my life. I have experience training sight-guide dogs. I have pet sat for dogs, cats, bunnies, and birds before. I currently work 5 days a week Sunday-Thursday from 2-10pm, so on those days so your pet will have about 8 hours alone **with the exception that Wednesdays I work 9 hours**. After work and the weekends, I love taking pets out on walk/doing enrichment in the home when I am with them! I live on a second floor apartment so your pet will need to be able to go up and down stairs. I have 1 bedroom with a good amount of space and sun spots for them to play and lay out.
About: Dogs and cats have been beloved members of my family since I was a child. I enjoy being outside and am mindful/respectful of Texas heat. Most days I enjoy a walk and it would be great to have a fur-baby companion. I have a flexible schedule and many times am available on short notice. I make sure dogs are comfort with me before moving forward. Trust must be built with respect and patience. The response of the animal communicates their level of trust.
“John came through last minute when I came down with a bad cold, he was so kind to myself and Juno & took her on a nice long walk twice, the same day. I definitely recommend John!”

About: I've always had dogs in my life. I grew up with smaller dogs in my family, but when I moved off to college I didn't have as much time around them. It honestly took a minor toll on my mental health, because I actually believe dogs are the key to happiness. Once I moved to Arlington and my roommate had a dog (a medium sized), I knew I needed to surround myself with more. And what better way to get to know the community than to take care of the most important part of it! Working remotely gives me the incredible flexibility to make pet care a seamless part of my day. While I work a standard 9-to-5 schedule, my job allows me to easily step away from my desk whenever needed. Whether that means taking your dog out for a mid-day potty break, going on an afternoon walk to burn off some energy, or giving a cat some quality cuddle time, I can accommodate your pet’s exact routine without delay. When I take on a pet sitting commitment, that work becomes my top priority. My flexible remote setup means I’m present, attentive, and available throughout the day - giving your pets the companionship and supervision they need so you can have complete peace of mind while you're away. Whether I’m hosting your pet at my home or caring for them in yours, safety and trust are my top priorities. My own space is fully pet-proofed, safe, and secure for hosting, while in your home, I treat your property with absolute respect, adhering strictly to your house rules, routine, and security preferences. On walks and during yard play, I stay 100% focused on your pet - maintaining a secure grip on the leash, monitoring weather and pavement conditions, and actively avoiding potential hazards or unfamiliar dogs. Building trust starts with clear, reliable communication. I make a point to send frequent updates and photos so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. From double-checking fence latches to keeping strict safety routines, I take every precaution to give you complete peace of mind while you're away.
About: I have been taking care of pets - my own and others'- since I was 13. I have done everything from brief check-ins on pets while their parents are out of town, to staying with the animals for several days - feeding them, playing with them, and ensuring their wellbeing and comfort. I also have two dogs of my own, a Rhodesian Ridgeback and a Yorkshire Terrier. My Yorkie is an elderly, blind, small dog so I have love and experience with differently-abled and elderly dogs. As a student on summer break, I have a very loose work schedule, so my time is very open to care for your pets! I'm more than willing to wake up early for morning walks, check ins, and/ or feedings and generally free days. I cannot offer pet care in my own home as my two pups are hesitant about new friends, however, I am more than willing to travel! If entering your space, I will ensure to treat it with respect and the standards you establish, respecting both your home and your pets as if they were my own.
“Paige is great! She always communicates her arrival time and shares photos and updates from the walk. My dog always comes back a bit worn out and very happy. He is always waiting at the door and excited to see Paige.”

About: I’ve spent a lot of time with my friends and family’s cats and dogs throughout my childhood. I understand they’re body language very well, and love spending time with them. I am currently a chemistry graduate student who enjoys going on walks and working out, especially on the weekends. I would really enjoy spending some time walking with some dogs on the weekends! I will make sure your dog is happy and relaxed while at home and safe as well. I will supervise carefully to make sure they aren’t getting into any trouble that may endanger them.
About: 5+ years of cat care experience, including feeding, litter box care, playtime, medication, and providing a calm, stress-free environment for cats of all temperaments. Reliable, attentive, and experienced with both shy and social cats. I’m an Austin local with a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve. I recently started my own freelance design business, so I’m looking to spend some of my free time doing something I genuinely enjoy, which caring for animals! I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family members! I’ll treat your home with the same respect I’d want someone to treat mine, and I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and great at following routines, whether that means feeding, administering simple medications, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, going for walks, or simply keeping your pet company while you’re away. I know every pet has their own personality, and I’m happy to match their pace—whether they’re energetic and playful or shy and just want a calm, reassuring presence.
About: I had an older dog for four years that I love to take care of. I am flexible with the activity levels of your pets. I work remotely. My job is flexible, so I work from my home or somewhere else. I also am flexible on weekends for pet care. My complex is in a safe area and has an accessible walking trail. I have reliable transportation to get me to and from client’s home.
About: Animals have been a huge part of my life since I got my first dog at six years old, and today my three cats happily run the household. Friends know me as the person who ends up spending more time with the pets than the people, usually on the floor doing what we jokingly call "pet yoga" with whichever dog or cat wants to join. I have a special soft spot for rescue animals, senior pets, and those who need a little extra patience and understanding. I've supported local rescue organizations for years and even helped transport animals for Austin Pets Alive during the Texas floods. Whether your pet wants adventure, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm companion, my goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I’m a real estate agent so my schedule is flexible! I’m an early riser and as a life long Texan, I don’t mind the middle of the day summer heat. Having worked with rescue animals and senior pets, I'm comfortable moving at each animal's pace and paying attention to the little details that help them feel secure and stress-free.

I am an early riser and often go on walks or runs already. My pug is currently at home in florida while I am in college. I miss my dog and I really want to be around dogs and other animals. I have a fenced in yard and leash walk my little tot. We also have a lot of land behind us so I will run outside with the pug often.

His meticulous attention to detail and friendly, professional demeanor make every visit a delightful experience.

Amelia is great! She’s been prompt and great, we had some issues with the building elevator etc and was ready to accommodate and make sure my pup was taken care of. I couldn’t recommend her more, she’s been great and I look forward to rebooking with her in the future 🙂

Alyxandria is the first dog walker we’ve hired on rover (actually ever) and I couldn’t be more impressed. She was great with our pup, very communicative, and overall super pleasant. I really felt like Gigi was in good hands. Def planning on working with Alyxandria in the future, thanks!

Jean was great with my dog and our foster goldendoodle. He arrived on time and took good care of them. He followed my instructions perfectly. He communicated well and sent me cute pictures. He was patient with their quirks and he came on short notice when mo one else could. He was a lifesaver! I would recommend him and use him again without concern.

Cicely has been absolutely wonderful! She is always communicative, flexible with scheduling, and keeps me updated, which gives me so much peace of mind. The best part is that my dog absolutely loves her and is always excited to see her. It’s clear she truly cares about the dogs she looks after, and I know my pup is in great hands every time. I highly recommend Cicely to anyone looking for someone dependable, caring, and easy to work with!

I’ve had Ann Marie to take care of my dog several times. She’s reliable, King enjoys her and she seems to enjoy King. And I trust her in my home. She provides good updates and cute pictures and she responds to messages quickly. I highly recommend you try Ann Marie. You won’t be sorry.
